Ok there some points about that story that makes no sense.

Link calls Sheik a "transvestite" but he cant know that Sheik is a girl.
Sheik brings him from the Castle to Kokiri Village and then later to the Ranch but the Ranch is closer to the makes no sense.

yes. because thats what link does in every iteration when things get hard. cry harder.

what a well written story! my only problem with it is all link seems to do is cry and lose fights.

Even if you never read this, I just have to say that this is hands down my favorite Legend of Zelda fan-fiction so far. I loved every single second. Link's sarcasm and stubbornness fit him so well. You did a fantastic job of portraying him. I will never be able to play another LOZ game again without thinking about this story. I thank you for your time and creativity. :)

I dont agree with the timing of zelda and links making up this chapter. to me it seems pointless to write in the drama of the shiek lie if the issue gets resolved a few paragraphs later. those things are good tension between characters and I'm disappointed it was seemingly resolved so immediately.

it blows my fucking mind that this was written WAYYY back when OoT was still being enjoyed for the first time by a lot of people and wasnt even that old... dayyyyum.

Oh my goodness! I'm so excited to be starting this story again! I don't even know how many times I read it, but I can say that I first read it long before it was ever finished. It's a story I always enjoy coming back to from time to time, just as I love coming back to play Ocarina of Time every so often. Your story colors my experience when I play and makes the gameplay ever so much more enjoyable to me. I will always consider this story and the one that follows it to be the most "true" embellishment and a completion of the original games.

That was the best iteration of Ocarina of Time that I have ever seen. I think it might be better than the actual game.

I loved reading this story! The plot was great and the way you developed Link's character was amazing.
Your OCs were awesome characters and you integrated them well with the known cast.
I especially enjoyed Link's parents and how he found out about them. :)

This story was absolutely incredible. The time and care you put into it is evident in the smooth was of the story. Your characters are realistic, consistent, and very loveable. I found myself wishing the story could be made into a sequel game for OOT. So, thank you, for writing such an incredible and enjoyable piece! Don’t stop writing!
