I remember reading this a few years ago when you were only halfway done with it. I come back every so often to reread it again, and I always find something new each time. It’s a wonderful story and still one of my favorites. Perfectly paced, and you cover everything that happened in the series in your own way.

I stumbled upon this years ago and I just reread it. The first time it was lost on me that they were basically betrothed (at least partially, though Katara was not of age) in 3 different cultures... The necklace, the ring and Zuko's "invitation" to the hut. I just thought that was really cute. Anyway... Thank you for such an amazing story!

Nicely done. A rich re-telling from early on. Very enjoyable. I would have liked to see Aang’s reaction or coming to peace with Katara’s love for Zuko, but I feel you did well overall with characterisation, especially Hakoda. Thank you for writing!

Sex positive and extremely well thoughtout swamp benders is everything that is missing from tons of fics. Its super refreshing to be reading a fic that portrays swamp benders as a very complete culture and not a bunch of random people running around. If every nation can have a culture (some towns acting as little nations of themselves to create their own culture) then it only makes sense that there would be a very personal and vibrant culture surrounding the far removed swamp benders. This fic (AND THE AUTHOR) took the time to create and portray that culture without it being exactly like the water tribes or the earth kingdom. This fic is amazing in that it fleshes out something akin to a unique culture derived from where the benders began. Thank you for gracing the world with this.

Beautiful. I enjoy every word, every second of reading. I love noticing the subtle shifts in dynamics because of Katara being missing for a lot of the meetings and team firsts. The story goes so far beyond anything I have ever hoped for or imagined. Amazing. I don't want this to end.
