| Quizer chapter 6 . 1/1 This story is very sweet. I really like the flavor of romance you've got going on here. Far too few stories I've found do it like this. I also like the portrayal of the portraits (no pun intended). It's an aspect of HP worldbuilding that seldom receives more than the most cursory attention. I also like how Luna paying attention to them in this story lets her be different without detracting from her competence. Too many portrayals focus only on the imaginary creatures bit and the bullying. In those stories, Harry & co. accept or humor her delusions to varying degrees, but the writers do little else with Luna, which leaves her a confused and helpless character that doesn't bring much to the story. Glad to see this version of Luna actually has something to bring to the table. |
