Comments: After 8 years away wandering parts unknown (except for a short visit roughly two years ago to smack me upside the head and rattle my brain) my muse is back, kicking my head around until stuff comes out. I have a couple of short-to-mid-length fics brewing, but those will (probably) have to wait until I finish my first multi-chapter story, which is currently in progress (12,000 words and counting).

I will never post unfinished stories. Any non-one-shot stories I start posting are finished -- I will have a completed second draft and will be posting chapters as I finish polishing them into third-draft form, generally leaving a couple of days to a week between posts so that I can get enough distance from the work to see it in a more objective light.

Many of my stories deal with death in one way or another. Death being the one certainty of the human condition, it shapes our consciousness in ways we don't always realize. Thoughts of death often lead to interesting insights that I have fun weaving into a story.
