What I don't understand is why would Harry go to Hogwarts if he's living in America? From what I understand, one has a choice in whether they either send their children to Hogwash or abroad or simply homeschool them, and that's if the child(ren) live in Britain. But when it comes to those living outside of Britain, I've never seen any example of anyone outside of Britain getting an admittance letter to attend Hogwash. I've never understood the logic behind those types of stories.

One of the best Charms/HP crossovers I have read. Loved it. Love Penny. Love what she is doing to Hogwarts. I will have to read again, because I am sure McGonnagal doesn’t know Harry can’t speak. Because if she actually knew what Penny rescued him from, I can’t see her acting this way. Or potentially even Snape

a little warning at first i'm a bit frustrated so please don't take it personally if i sound a little harsh. it's a pretty good story so far not too long descriptions of the area or the circumstances but just the right length.I'm just about halfway through the 14th chapter. Still very good the only thing I don't like is that Harry is always with Ron. you have so far created the impression that harry does not really like his personality and would rather do something with nevill. i think you want to portray harry as very tolerant but i find he should tell Ron his tpinion. if it happens in the next chapters than i apologize for the inconvenience it is just that i would have already exploded personally or at least would have got into a dispute and it gives me the impression that you describe harry on the one hand as very attentive Sense of personalities but on the other hand contradict himself that he will tolerate that ron bullies hermine or forgive him so fast afterwards . because so far i had the impression that he is against bullying or would at least spend more energy on showing ron what is wrong or that he (harry) does not tolerate it. in situations where ron does not understand what harry means i find it a bit disappointing taht harry gives up so quickly . sorry if i write a lot here it is just this situation spoiled the desire for the story a little. i will read on and hope i was not too from this one thing it was a wonderful story

With Harry’s love of his family, and the mentioned handicap, he should’ve been sorted in Hufflepuff. Hard working and LOYAL. I mean please, you’re putting him with Gryffindor? You are mental. Not mention that it would mess up Dumbledore’s plans.

You might have also teamed him up with S. Bones or T. Davis, as friends or possible future love interest (one not both)

While I can excuse other stories doing the same mainly due to the fact they don't make me feel like I'm rereading the first book

While not a true copypaste the main gimmick of Harry being not able to talk barely comes up at all within Hogwarts so far. Surely Snape should be suspicious as to why Harry is so chatty when he was silent in the Hospital wing.

Oh, I think that I am going to really like this approach. The ability to share with his parents and learn from them...Even learn from their experiences! I hope this part goes on...! Thank you for using your talent!
