How comes that Dumbles doesn't interpret the bond as the 'power of love' and uses it as a weapon against Voldy to turn him to the light?

Gotta admit. I can really emphasize with both parties here.
On one hand we have Harry, who is essentially chained up to a person forever and can't leave an entire area without feeling some kind of pain, who can't experience lots of things normally without the single thought of, "I could have been doing this with X back home." along with several years of new baggage added now due to the whole mess.
On the other we have Gabrielle, who was just a young girl doing what she thought would be appropriate because she hasn't grown up to a certain point yet to fully understand her actions.
Also, this story was really fun to read. I hope you can continue writing similar in quality fics.

Perfectly sad ending! Could they have worked it out? Sure but it couldn’t be forced and even tho he forgave her something deep down inside wouldn’t allow it to turn into something more.

This is a perfect take on a forced bonding story. Shame a lot of reviewers seemed to think Harry should just roll with what essentially is a fucking slave bond. Bunch of retards.
