My disappointment with the original ending of Mass Effect 3 was, I think, shared by many. At the time I thought I had to do something about it. What I didn't expect was for my wish to be granted by being transplanted into the Mass Effect universe, where I had to fix an awful lot more than I expected. Began years ago, before volume 2, and is very unfriendly to the canon, but it's kind of fun to write so here it is. I have no clue why it's so popular, I guess people just like Velvet. I like Velvet too. Be warned, each chapter is twice as awful as the one before it.
