If you're thinking about reading this, you should know that it doesn't actually have an ending. The writer kinda just stops writing halfway through the story and plays it off as an "ambiguous ending". It is not an ambiguous ending, OP doesn't understand what ambiguous ending means. An ambiguous ending means that the story, you know, ends. The ambiguous part means that its hinted that the conflict was resolved, but you don't know either way. This is completely unambiguous, the conflict is definitely not resolved in any way at all when this "ends". I am okay with an ending that doesn't answer my questions. That's fine. But this literally is not an ending, It's a call to action. The story didn't stop, they just stopped writing.

I see what they were trying to do, the story starts with an ending and they were trying to be poetic by "ending" it with a beginning. Which is cool and a good idea. The execution was just bad. If I wanted to pull that trick, I would have ended it with a wedding instead. You're doing "the beginning is the end and the end is the beginning" right? So the first chapter is the end of Ruby and Juane's life together. And the last chapter should be the beginning of Ruby and Juane's life together. Salem separates them at the beginning, and in the end, they're reunited and defeat her together. You create the conflict and resolve the conflict and in doing so create the poetic symmetry you're going for. The ending can be a beginning and still be a satisfying and natural close to the story.

Just have to say that I love the Forever Fall scene. It's just such a small detail that Jaune never found out how Pyrrha helped him in canon, so he doesn't know that he was watched there!

...the ending piss me off. I was waiting for the ending. Nope! Its a reset! The story can never have a bad end, i should have expected it. Though, the journey was really fun and amazing. I really enjoy this story. The ending may be a bad one in my opinion, but i will probably remember this story even after a few years. So good job author, you did it

I’m actually really fascinated by the situation between yang and Weiss that you portray in this fic. I haven’t seen any other stories that have yang unrelentingly upset with Weiss even when Weiss is trying to make amends for her actions. I kinda wanna borrow that idea and see if I can do anything with that
