The experienced hunter who has already killed gods and great ones is now... attending school? Why? Just because Pyrrha complimented him? What is he supposed to learn there? Besides resources (which he could get elsewhere), what possible reason does he have to go to school?

I'm so tired of this trope. Why can't anyone write a story about a character in their teens without hamfistedly inserting them into a school setting?

It's all fun and games until the Holy Moonlight sword comes out...

Hey David, it could've been worse. You could've had Beast's Embrace on...

Oof. Ima be real with you chief, this backstory ain't it. It felt too rushed and contained too many unexplained factors. Sure, to us we might understand what David is talking about, but in the shoes of the student? I wouldn't understand what the hell he would be saying. Wilem who? Laurence where? Random group here and there. Lack of info towards the three branches. And then the odd explanation about David's first death and reawakening? Nah man, that's just bad. I feel like you should've just made it simple and just explain a bit about Yharnam —not it's history— and a few of it's inhabitants. Explain why David is different and go a bit into how workshop functions. This felt way too fast and felt like it was meant to force a reaction from the audience on some "David is so cool!" type of business. Nah chief, nah. I'll still keep reading this because I find the action scenes great and the interactions fun and interesting, but I can tell "History with David!" is going to feel meh... Dammit :/

I'm really enjoying the vibe David is giving. He's a calm and respectful person, but knows when to use his innate authority to control the situation. He's friendly to people, and so far isn't rude to anyone unless they deserve such. Another thing I really like about this is the messanger/store/base system you've implemented. It's very believable, as in he pretty much had the whole hunter workshop, but only he can see it and thus won't cause questions. He's able to use the essence of grimm to purchase/fix weapons/etc., and thus won't endanger the lives of those around him. Like in other stories under this crossover which requires the hunter to aquire blood, ie fight those around him, thus causing a rift in relationships. So yeah man. Good shit :D!

I like the flow of the story so far :). Nothing too slow, speedy, or forced.

Please update this story soon. I want to know how teams RWBY and JNPR not to mention David's own team will interact with him after this show of ferocity that the "good hunter" possesses. Then there is the teachers who will want to talk with David about his display. If you do that in the next chapter can you incorporate a line like, " You aren't training warriors, but martyrs." I think that would drive the point home pretty well. We all saw what happened to Pyrrha at the end of book 3 and that was because she was being trained to be an athlete not a warrior like everyone pretends. Rules that ensure a fair fight only exist in tournaments were they can be enforced, in the real world there is only kill or be killed. If you need help with your writing might I suggest watching Nuxtaku's YouTube video No one understands Guts. It might be beneficial to the story. It's only a helpful suggestion. All in all great chapter and phenomenal story.

honestly I don't say this many times but if I do say it, you know I'm serious: this is so cheesy it makes me want to vomit. the hunter is a doormat. horrible fanfiction so far, though your dark souls fanfic is wonderful (besides killing Priscilla and talking shit about Solaire)
