A well done chapter. Nicely done with Katsumi as she goes through quite the nightmare and trying to keep the fear down. It was a good reason for her to wanting One For All and that she doesn't feel that she deserves such a power cements it more. Can't wait to see how this will turn out for her as she will get the power later on. The training that takes place for the students was well done as it was explained what it was they needed to do to improve themselves as well as get around the handicaps that have been put on them. Quill's character was shown to be sad and strong as he continues to push himself despite missing a lung. He really would keep going even if it means he dies, but hopefully the people around him will have him realize that they want him to stay alive and healthy. The Sports Festival is coming and I can't wait to see how this will turn out, but it would seem villains and the like will be watching closely. Thank you. Keep up the good work.

Love this! Amazing story! Glad Katsumi got One For All! Glad Izuku got sensory abilities! Hope Quill eases up on himself. Hopefully his classmates will help him out. Looking forward to the next chapter.

the upgrade kinda makes me think of a much weaker version of the byakugan from Naruto

How about barriers defensively thinking people with psychic ability are some time able to create multi layered barriers or body like armor with there ability it would a perfect counter part to katsumis insane strength. She will gain from one for all. Not to mention the ability to protect kasumi again without coming insanely close to death.

A well done chapter. It was quite amusing to read the aftermath of Katsumi and Izuku kissing each other on the hospital bed. Even more amusing though was when All Might is looking for a successor, but can't seem to get the four kids to agree to getting it as they believe that they aren't all that worthy, but Izuku's case was that he wanted to focus on the Quirks he already has as well as the danger of the League trying to capture him. It was endearing to read the class' reaction to Izuku coming back as well as hearing the injuries he sustained as well as the permanent damage to his eye. It will be interesting to read what sort of training will take place between the split class as they all want to improve themselves for the Sport Festival as well as when the League does try to attack again. Not to mention it was good to see 13 again and that she will be helping them train along the way. A good way to end the chapter with Azula wanting to improve herself with Quill and showing that she is changing herself to be better.

As who to give One For All to: I think giving it to Katsumi would be interesting as seeing herself not worthy kind of prove that she is worthy and you are correct that she might want it in order to protect Izuku a bit more. It is up to you when the time comes to picking a successor though, but it would be hilarious to read if Gran Torino or Nighteye were ever to meet Katsumi if she were to be the successor. For Inasa's pairing, I think it is Uraraka as they did have a small interaction with one another in previous chapters as well as saying that they would make a good team when I reread the story. I love the stories you write. I think Inasa should get OfA. You already have him learning a melee fighting style, so I think that is a great way for him to incorporate OfA into it. Also I just don't think ojiro or itsuka have the proper mentality for carrying OfA. Just my thoughts. Either way, I'm looking forward to seeing where you go with this story.

Hum... canon Shota's quirk seems to be a psionic quirk that both allows him to shut off other quirks, but also have standard powers of a psychokinetic field. He an stay in the air for longer, though he can't fly; can channel it down an object meant to handle the energy such as his scarf; he can probably channel light to his eyes and sound to his ears; and he has enhanced strength, speed, stamina, durability, etc. Basically, discount superman with quirk erasing vision instead of being able to shoot out some of the solar energy charging up the brain cells producing his psychokinetic tactile field. Oh, and I'm pretty sure that Shota can't use his field to rearrange the carbon in coal to form diamonds or slow down the vibration of air molecules to produce freeze breath like superman. Maybe, but probably not.

He seems to be able to use his, admittedly rather weak, psionic abilities even when he has his erasure ability active.

So... the fact that Izuku can't in this fiction is... a little odd. Definitely not an exact copy or fusion of the two. It's almost as if he has a mutation quirk that only seems to be his parent's quirks. Very odd. But also interesting.

Inko's quirk seems to be some sort of attraction field. It could be psionic, or it could be gravitational. Though, one could argue that psionic ability is simply using the bio-electrical energy of the brain to make waves in the electromagnetic field of the planet in order to manipulate objects in a certain way. So... maybe that's the same thing? Psionic equaling gravitational?

Still, if her quirk is psionic, it does seem a bit odd that she can only pull things towards her. Perhaps she simply hasn't explored her quirk enough? It's not like she needs it in everyday life.

One thing is certain though, her hands are critical to the ability. They're likely psionic amplifiers of a sort. Maybe any energy that runs along her nervous system leading towards her hands is amplified? But that begs the question... what about her feet? I imagine she hasn't bothered to test it.

If Shota and Inko's quirks fused, and Inko's quirk is indeed psionic, Izuku's quirk would likely be just like Shota's except he could project his psionic energy away from his body with his hands and possibly his feet. This means he could probably shut off people's quirks by both looking at them and pointing at them. Maybe even just adjusting his feet to point towards them.

It's likely that he could push and pull with his quirk, and probably make things float. He might also be able to control a scarf without direct physical contact like Shota and Hitoshi require. Though he would still need line of sight, since his power isn't true psychokinesis... but rather a psychokinetic tactile field that is being projected from his body to another location via an amplifier.

He can probably jump, kick, and punch harder than his father can: by releasing a burst of psionic energy form his hands and feet. Similar to One For All, but drastically weaker. I doubt he could fly even with a sustained release of the energy from all four points like a Naruto shinobi while also pushing and pulling his body with the normal psychokinetic tactile field, but maybe. Even if he could, it would probably be very short flights like from the bottom of the USJ staircase to the top. Nothing long distance like from USJ to the main building of UA campus.

Speaking of Hitoshi, they could totally be scarf bros! That or arch rivals.

"Pfft. Please... mine has little heroes on it. Here see. Dad, Present Mic, All Might, Ryukyu, Mirko..."

"Why doesn't it have endeavor?"

"I said it has little heroes on it. Not little villains."

Shoto leans over with wide eyes, glancing down at Izuku's scarf and then back up at Izuku, "I think I love you. Which is weird because I'm not even gay. I think this means I want to be your friend. But I'm not entirely sure because I've never had one of those. So I could just have indigestion and it just feels fuzzy for some reason."

Izuku and Hitoshi share a glance, "I'm to tired to fix this poor broken boy myself. You take half and I'll take half, k?"

"Fine... whatever. But if you slack on your half, I'm hitting you with my scarf."

Why not Mirio, I know he's a little way out and doesn't feature heavily but it would work will for his quirk. Plus he's basically All Might 2.0

First off, I love this story so far. I’ve ready most of your stuff so far, but this and Clear Blooded in particular actually helped inspire to finally start writing my own stories. As for OfA, I personally think that of the four listed, Katsumi would be the best fit. That being said, I don’t know if I’d put it on her. One For All as a quirk is insanely OP, so it’ll be nearly impossible to both do it justice and not overshadow your own plot. I personally would just give it to Mirio and keep him out of the story until you need a Deus Ex Machina kind of rescue. That’s just my take though, it’s your story so do whatever you want. I’m sure it’ll still be good either way.

Ik deku has insane will but if all those bones were broken as you said and yes ik its anime but the internal bleeding would kill him so this doesn't really make a lot of sense its still good just doesn't make sense

As I was saying, in light of giving him OFA, it would also not make OFA so important in the story, which I think is a good thing. Having the quirk in the background would leave more room for the characters themselves, which are basically in my option the most important part of a story. So I wouldn’t personally mind having you give the quirk to him.

Also, in the bad of giving quirk to Katsumi, is like I said, taking away from the characters themselves. So I guess I’m leaning more towards wind dude, but then again, I’m quite indecisive about this, so I could be leaning towards Katsumi tomorrow. It’s really up to you in the end, and depends on where you are planning to take the story. That’s just what I’m thinking about the situation.

About the OFA situation, I defiantly don’t think you should do Mashirao or Itsuka. They just don’t seem like the right fit thb. That being said, if you did give it to Katsumi, it would make for a pretty interesting storyline. As you said, you want Katsumi to be on the same level as Izuku, so if you gave it to her that would leave a lot of room for improvement Izuku’s part. It would be pretty cool to see gradual progression of power levels in this story, as in most stories you don’t really see that.

Inasa of the other hand, I feel would mess up what you have going for him. For, what I’ve gathered you seem to have been showing that he needs improvement in a style of fighting so he’s not so reliant on his quirk. Giving his OFA would mess that up, as in one punch he would have taken the enemy down. Although, he could still have that trying to find a fighting style still goin I suppose, as he would still be relying on a quirk. The issue just wouldn’t be as pressing with him. Now in light of giving him OFA, I do think his personality would be perfect for what All Might wants.

I actually wanted Izuku to have ofa. I’ve seen this is most of your stories. You make Izuku strong but somehow make the others strong as well. I’d love for once for Izuku to be op and outclass everyone. Just my opinion
