When I first was searching for a nice long story featuring my two favorite characters as siblings (instead of being forced to pick one or the other), I'll admit I didn't know what to expect. I have read my fair share of amateur online stories, from imgur to reddit, 4chan to tumblr, to .

Some have been good. Others needed polishing. But this story, this ongoing saga, this work of art right here, is one if the first I recommend.

This story takes Mass Effect, a masterpiece that I cherish (even with it's flaws), and makes the story I wish I could play. Every character has development, every interaction is true to their ego, and every combat sequence is just as visceral and downright awesome as the first time you played the game. Artistic liberties have been taken, and it makes this tale of redemption, love, loyalty, justice, and survival all that more worthy.

To the new reader, stay a while. Get comfy. You're going to like what this storyteller has in stock.

And to the author, thank you for all your hard work. I've enjoyed every late night and work break I've spent reading (and re-reading) the story so far.

So far I love this story, Jane does seem a bit preachy but I take that as her leaning more towards Paragon. I like the decision to place John with Miranda and I love how you give us nothing on his past but slowly delve into him. He's my favorite original character that I've read about so far.

I like how John's first thought is creative persuasion. Together with his sister's reaction make the whole scene the highlight of the chapter.
It is nice to see that this story is still being worked on, keep it up.
