Makes it less sensible for Terra to be going on maternity leave as that usually means a drop of income. Not an issue if Saffron is acting like the surrogate to Terra's fertilized ova.

Plus, takes a little of the pressure off of Jaune as the sole male Arc (outside his father and his parents mainly produced girls) and thus having to continue the family name, come hell or high water, considering their storied history.

Families like that tend to come with a lot of pressure to see the name live on. And it's rare for males to marry into a family and thus give up their own name.

So yeah, before it was all on Jaune. After Adrian's birth, he became the spare in case Jaune bites the big one. (Which considering the themic cyclic nature of RT's work and Pyrrha's demise is rather likely actually. Especially with that vocal part of the Fandom that hates him and wants him gone for their Yuri wants.)

I don't know if this was glorious..stupid..gloriously stupid, or just an absolute trashfire..given it's nearly midnight and I haven't had any sleep since I woke up at like..6am..I'm leaning toward gloriously stupid, cause that was a hell of a thing to do to Be Our Guest.
