Happy 5-year-anniversary! Yes people, it was on this day five years ago, I started my account on Fan Fiction, and began releasing my first story to the site. Now, five years later, while I'm still an avid reader and reviewer of ongoing stories I follow that are still releasing new chapters to this day, as well as checking out new stories from authors I follow and favorited, and still keep up with a few friends I've made through this site, where my releasing new material is concerned, I've lost all motivation for doing that at this time. I don't wish to go into great detail as to why that is, though I will mention, that the issues I was dealing with at the time of starting my account, no involvement in Internet radio at the time, and no close online friends around to regularly chat with via vocal platforms like talking on the phone were present, that has since changed over the last year, thus, making me a bit more busy with those hobbies and social relationships, no longer making me feel lonely and bored when looking for things to do. Will I eventually, find motivation and inspiration to release Fan Fiction material again? I don't want to say yes, and I don't want to say no, but I won't say never, because you never know, when I'll awaken, and feel that creative rush, to want to put out something new again. However, I will say this. I will at least, continue to support those people who I follow who's stories and ongoing stories I continue to read and review regularly to this day, and where the creative aspect of this site is concerned, I'll simply take it, one day at a time, and let things happen, when they happen. For now, please continue to enjoy what I have released, and feel free to keep in touch via private messages if you're so inclined, provided you're polite and respectful, and eventually, someday in the future, when I'm ready and feel like writing again, I'll return with some new material, that if you've enjoyed everything I've put out thus far, there's no doubt, you'll enjoy anything I release down the road. And now that I've got that out of the way, let's move on, to the rest of my Fan Fiction profile. For anyone who may be curious, yes, I'm still alive, I haven't fallen off the face of the earth entirely. To simply put it, a lot has been going on in my personal life, that has put Fan Fiction writing, more or less, on the back burner at this time. So at this time, I'll update when time allows for it, and I feel inspired to write. I'm hoping that Rugrats reboot will get me inspired at some point, once it's released, and for other fandoms I did express interest in, I'll eventually, get my thoughts together for those stories, but for now, not putting myself on any sort of schedule, so just keep this in mind if you would please. I will continue to read and review stories I follow and favorite, as well as chatting with my friends out here via Fan Fiction Private Messages (PM's), or via other sources we use outside of this site. IMPORTANT NOTE FOR SCREEN USERS OF THIS SITE: If you are blind, and use a screen reader such as JAWS or NVDA, and thus, need to use the audio capcha to solve the capcha for logging into your account, and or for publishing a new story, I noticed when posting my latest story, on February 9, 2019, I had trouble getting the audio capcha to work in Google Chroam, having to publish my new story via Internet Explorer to get the audio capcha to work. Therefore, I recommend you use Internet Explorer to publish new stories if you can, until the issue with the broken audio capcha in Google Chroam, is fixed. And only reason why I'm able to access my account in Google Chroam, is because I'm permanently signed in via that browser, not having to relog into my account and answer to the audio capcha in that regard, only approaching it when publishing new stories. IMPORTANT NOTICE: Guess what people! I did post about it in the Rugrats Revival Section of my profile, but, it's finally happening! Yes, Nickelodeon has confirmed, that Rugrats is indeed, getting a reboot! Don't believe me? Variety has posted an article talking all about it, which you can check out, at the following link. https:///2018/tv/news/rugrats-tv-relaunch-movie-1202874434/?sf193783294=1 Question: What does this mean for my posting to the Rugrats fandom on Fan Fiction? Answer: At this time, the schedule stands as it is. I'll post when I feel like it. After all, I don't know all of the details as to what characters will be in the reboot, what will be different from the original series, and of course, I won't know anything until it premiers and I see the episodes. My stories will still continue to follow the timeline I've already set force, within my universe, following the classic Rugrats series, along with its spinoff series, Pre-School Daze and All Grown Up and beyond. If the reboot should inspire me, at this time, I hope it will inspire me to write for the East Coast Rugrats again, since I've lost all motivation to work with that set of characters at this time, as in fact, I have no stories in my upcoming list, to feature them at this time. Also, if any episode in the reboot should mirror any of my stories I've released, as in, having a similar plot, please don't trash me for posting a similar story, because chances are, anything I've written and released, was posted, before the reboot was even publically announced for all I know. And if it is published after the fact, I'm just a fan of the series, I don't work on the production end of things, so my guess is as good as anybody else's, as to what will happen in the episodes slaighted for release in the next year or two. If I can, I'd like to get what's left to be released, out on to Fan Fiction before a date is set for Rugrats to return, but given my lack to be able to keep to any type of schedule as of late, there's no telling what's going to happen. I know my rule of sum is, I don't write for a fandom that's currently in production, or more technically, that's currently being released with new material from their original producers, but might make an acception here, since this is what I call, my home fandom by default. I have ideas for other fandoms, assuming they don't get picked up by other people, and I should hear about the story releases later, those might appear at some point. One idea is, a story in The Loud House fandom where Lincoln helps Clyde uncover the truth about what happened to his mom on Mother's Day, as well as a story to be released in the Full House, AKA Fuller House fandom, that discusses my theory as to what happened to Michelle, in terms of her character, as to what made her move away from San Fransisco, and keep a strong distance from her family communication wise. Again though, not sure if, and when, those stories will be released, if ever, I might even put those out once Rugrats is airing again, giving me a break from that fandom while the series has returned, but only time will tell at this rate. As far as I know, The Loud House and Fuller House are still planning to have more seasons released in the future, so if we should learn about Clyde's mom, or get more of a backstory with regards to the whereabouts of Michelle, and what caused her to end up where she is, then obviously, I won't release my own stories, unless I am in total disagreement as to what really happened to those characters. If anybody else would like to discuss the Loud House and Full House slash Fuller House ideas with me privately, be my guest, as it might help me fine tune these ideas, and either get them released, or even, handed off to the rightful Fan Fiction author who can do justice with these two ideas. For the moment, let's just move on, to the rest of my Fan Fiction profile, and play things by ear, from here on out. NOTE: All tentative release dates listed down below are only approximate dates, and are subject to change with little or no notice, depending on what happens in my life, should something come up that's beyond my control, etc. New Stories Title: Dayscare, Alternate Version Summary: What if the kids Tommy met during the events of the season 2 Rugrats episode, The Big House, showed up in the season 7 Rugrats episode, Dayscare? How would things go differently for Chuckie and Kimi, versus how they played out originally? Read this to find out! Idea was given to me by Boris Yeltsin, I hope you enjoy! Tentative Release Date: Unsure at this time. Title: Babysitter Robot Disaster Summary: Takes place during season 8, post the events of 'Back to School,' and prior to the events of 'Happy Taffy.' When Didi announces she's returning to school, and the parents decide they need a babysitter to watch the kids, Stu invents a robot to watch the babies, but naturally, his invention is only asking for a disaster waiting to happen. Idea was given to me by Boris Yeltsin, and surprisingly, this idea was never originally a Rugrats episode. Tentative Release Date: Unsure at this time. Title: Babysitter as a Baby Summary: A Rugrats and Sabrina the Teenage Witch crossover, and the sequel to Babysitter Robot Disaster. After Stu's robot fails to work out, they start looking into human babysitters, but before Taffy is hired, they try out Sabrina Spellman, but they have yet to learn that she's even less of a good idea than Stu's robot invention. She's a witch, and when she accidentally turns herself back into a baby-baby, it appears that the roles have been reversed. Can the Rugrats babysit baby Sabrina? And will she be rescued by her aunts and turned back into a teenager before it's too late? Idea was given to me by Boris Yeltsin. It should also be noted, that where Sabrina is concerned, it takes place during season 2, when she's testing to get her witches license. Tentative Release Date: Unsure at this time. Title: Rumors Aren't Cool Summary: When a new little girl named Sarah Hitchcock moves to town and joins Susie and Angelica's preschool class, Angelica starts spreading rumors about this little girl to the rest of the Rugrats gang, but just how true are they? It's up to the Rugrats, to find out what's a rumor and what's not, hoping to make a new friend in the process. Requested by the owner of the new OC, Sarah Hitchcock, who wishes to be referred to as anonomous. Tentative Release Date: Unsure at this time. Title: Little Kimi Summary: After Tommy tells Zack of his adventure of getting lost in the forrest right after Dil was born, he wonders what Kimi was like as a baby-baby, and has a dream where he and Kimi go through a similar experience to that of Tommy and Dil's in The Rugrats Movie. Idea was given to me by Boris Yeltsin. Tentative Release Date: Unsure at this time. Title: Home Movies (Revisited) Summary: Another revisiting of events from the Rugrats early days, during season 3 to be exact. This time however, we see the home movies that Susie, Phil, Lil, Zack, Jesse, Kimi, and Dil come up with, since the bulk of these characters weren't present in the original episode, and where Phil and Lil are concerned, while they were in the original episode, they never made a home movie, only Tommy, Chuckie, and Angelica did. Tentative Release Date: Unsure at this time. Title: Kid TV (Revisited) Summary: This time around, the television at Peter's castle breaks, so remembering what happened the last time, hince, the season 3 episode with the same title, Tommy gets the idea for his friends to make up their own TV shows. However, this time, we get to see what Susie, Zack, Jesse, Kimi, and Dil come up with, since these characters were not in the original episode. Tentative Release Date: Unsure at this time. Title: Susie's New Cousin Summary: A Rugrats and Fairly Oddparents crossover. It turns out that Randy Carmichael was adopted, and will soon be getting a visit from his niece, Chloe Carmichael, who comes from Dimsdale to Yucaipa, for a summer long visit, but when she brings the fairies, Cosmo and Wanda with her, and Angelica gets a hold of these fairies, tricking them into being her personal servants, granting her wishes and causing havoc on the world, including Peter Albany's Confederacy kingdom, can this mess be stopped, before it's too late? And as a result of breaking Da Rules, is this the end of the Fairly Oddparents for Timmy and Chloe, as we know it? Meanwhile, Timmy is left in charge to take care of Poof over his summer vacation, in exchange for letting Chloe keep Wanda and Cosmo with her while visiting her cousin Susie, but he'll soon find out, that a fairy baby, isn't all that easy to take care of, when its mommy and daddy aren't expected to return for an indefinite amount of time. Takes place during my imaginary season 10 of Rugrats, and during the real season 10 of Fairly Oddparents, after Chloe is introduced, obviously. Tentative Release Date: Unsure at this time. Title: The Nicktoons Movie, Who Framed Reptar Summary: A Rugrats and Cartoon X-Overs crossover, and what would have been the original Nicktoons movie, or rather, my interpretation of what would have been the Nicktoons movie, had it been greenlighted for production. Peter and Taffy take the Rugrats gang, Zack and Jesse included, to their first iMac presentation, the latest Reptar flick, where Reptar is accused of killing the Professor. It is up to the Rugrats gang, to take their second trip to Tokyo for Tommy, Chuckie, Phil, Lil and Dil, hince, the events of 'Runaway Reptar,' and Kimi, Zack, and Jesse's first trip there, to prove Reptar's innocence, before he is laid down forever if not proven innocent within 24 hours. However, when attempting to go into the movie to make everything right, they don't land in Tokyo, thus, enlisting in the help from several Nicktoon characters from Rocko's Modern Life, AAAHHH!!! Real Monsters, Ren and Stimpy, Catdog, and The Angry Beavers, to save them from traps around the world, and together, they'll go on the biggest adventure of their lives, to prove Reptar's innocence, and get the real villan who's behind this mess, put where they belong. Tentative Release Date: Unsure at this time. Title: The Return of the Thornberrys Summary: The sequel to Rugrats go Wild, and takes place during the events of Pre-School Daze (Reboot). This time, the Thornberrys pay Yucaipa, California a visit, but when Angelica discovers Eliza's powers to talk to animals, and tricks her and Debbie to reveal the big secret to everyone, causing Eliza to lose her powers, and for Debbie to get turned into a baboon, what will happen next? Disaster obviously, when Spike, Spiffi, Fifi, Pepper, and Fluffy escape, and the Rugrats escape to find their pets, it's up to Eliza, without her powers, to get everyone back in one piece, in hopes that she can save her family, and possibly her powers. Appearances from several Disney characters, including Rifiki, and Princess Sofia will occur in this story. Tentative Release Date: Unsure at this time. Title: Bombs and Zits Summary: Takes place the Valentine's Day two years post the events of the All Grown Up episode, 'It's Cupid, Stupid.' When Tommy is wrongly accused for a bomb threat that breaks out at his school, getting him expelled, it's up to Dil, Peter and Kimi, to help prove to the school and courts, that he's innocent. Meanwhile, Chuckie gets his first zit, and is contemplating canceling his first date to the Winter Carnival Dance with Nicole, after he's finally asked out by a girl for the first time. Can he be convinced that zits are no big deal, and attending the dance, provided the soul culpret of the bomb threat is caught, allowing the dance to take place? Meanwhile, Angelica, now a Freshman in high school, attends the Sulky Boys farewell concert. Story was inspired by a bomb threat that took place at my college back on October 6, 2014. Tentative Release Date: Unsure at this time. Title: Tommy's Journal Summary: Post the accident in my story, 'Driving Disaster,' Tommy keeps a journal where he talks about his transition from the sighted world, to the world of the blind. However, only 30 entries remain of this journal, which Tommy's oldest son Darin, finds and reads post his father's death. Tentative Release Date: Unsure at this time. Title: Runaway Tommy Summary: Tommy has always been a strong, bold, optimistic leader, and a good husband and father to his wife Silvia, and his two boys, Darin and Keenan, but when he turns 45-years-old, has recently lost his job at the newspaper, and realizes he's been blind for 30 years, he undergoes his midlife crisis, which gets him to think he must run away from home to find himself. Being reunited with his evil self created 43 years back by Dr. Definsmirk, he's offered a deal, where he gets his site back, and turns the entire world into a movie, living out his original dream career of being a movie director. However, when this plan only turns into a disaster, will Tommy come to his senses, and realize there's more to life than a career and eyesight? Idea was given to me by TCKing12. Tentative Release Date: Unsure at this time. Title: An Obsession and a Crush Summary: Celrock wishes to relive her childhood, when she developed a crush on Tommy Pickles during his baby days of being on Rugrats, and makes a wish on her gardian angel to go into a world where she and the Rugrats characters exist together in real time, to answer her question, if she has a crush on Tommy, will Tommy return the feelings? A look at Celrocks childhood within this alternate timeline. However, when she decides to go home, and a glitch ccauses Fan Ficction to not exist, and all stories on Fan Fiction, to be turned into full fledged books, movies, TV show episodes, and so on, can Celrock save the world, before it's too late? Tentative Release Date: Unsure at this time. Title: Bye Bye Tommy Pickles Summary: Tommy has died of Alhimer's Disease, and the family and friends who are still alive at his death mourn his death, giving yulogies about him at his funeral, as they say goodbye to their loving and caring friend, leader, husband, son, brother, cousin, nephew, father, grandfather, and just, all around, such a wonderful and inspirational person, who for many, were with him from nearly his birth, up until the very end. Tentative Release Date: Unknown, though I can honestly say, this one-shot story will not be released, until the following criteria has been met. 1. All other upcoming stories listed, have been released and completed. 2. Tommy's voice actress, E.G. Daily, has died. 3. I'm ready to retire from Fan Fiction, because I'm ready to, not because some cyber bullying troll or angry family member is pushing me to quit. Only I will make that call, as I'm only going to retire from writing Fan Fiction when I'm good and ready to do so. 4. I'm lying on my death bed, and have less than 6 months to live. NOTE: While reason #1 must be present at the time of releasing this story, options #2, #3, and #4 could be either or, depending on which option comes first post releasing everything I hope to release and complete in the Rugrats All Grown Up fandom. Only way this will change, is should E.G. Daily pass on before my planned list of stories is completed. Then and only then, will everything screach to a grounding hault for me to put out this story, in dedication of her passing. Hopefully though, that won't happen, and she'll be alive, for many more years to come. Stories to be Continued 1. Pre-School Daze (Reboot) 2. The Offspring Things to Expect in the Continuing Stories on this List Upcoming Chapters/Episodes of The Offspring Episode 17: Birthdays and Reunions Summary: It's Keenan's first birthday, and he's curious how things went down for his older brother Darin's first birthday. While waiting for the guests to arrive at Keenan's birthday party, his father Tommy, and their good friend, King Peter Albany, tell the story, of how things went down at Darin's first birthday, celebrated in Yucaipa, California, at grandpa Stu and grandma Didi's house, while Tommy and his friends, attended their 15 year middle school reunion, as we see several memorable moments, and not so memorable moments from the first generation's past as toddlers and preteens, while thanks to Princess Rosemary Albany wanting to have things her way, it nearly causing Darin and his toddler friends, to almost not live through this very special day. Inspired by the Reunion episode of Fuller House, amongst other episodes from that series, and making references and callbacks to several Rugrats and All Grown Up episodes. Basically, the flashback sequence of this chapter/episode, could have been the original unaired pilot for this particular series. Tentative Release Date: Unsure at this time. Episode 18: The Puppy Summary: On the night before Darin starts preschool, he watches an old home movie of his father Tommy as a baby, playing in the grass with his childhood pet dog, Spike, and longs for a dog of his own, but his mother Silvia is reluctant to let him get a pet, for various reasons, one of which, him being only 3-years-old, and pointing out that a pet is a huge responsibility. However, while on a field trip at the park with his preschool class, he finds a lost dog, and sneaks it home, thinking he can find a clever way to keep the dog as his own, not returning it to his rightful owner. However, after getting in trouble with his parents, will Darin do the right thing, and give the dog back to its rightful owner, even if its owner is now a new rival of Darin's, and this little girl's father, was once a rival of his father's as a child? Meanwhile, Keenan must adjust to going to daycare without his brother, when he, Abbie and Casey learn that a mushroom isn't an actual room, and Keenan learns the hard way, why he's not allowed to eat coconut. It's not just because he's barely a-year-old, but for reasons much more serious. Cameo appearances from the second generation McNulties and Loud House characters will make their debut appearances in this chapter/episode, and it's at this time, when Tony Generic, the offspring of Bobby and Jackie Generic, the Bobby's World second generation characters, become regular reoccuring characters in the series. Tentative Release Date: Unsure at this time. Episode 19: The Garden Trio Summary: A second generation spoof of the All Grown Up episode, The Science Pair. When Darin's preschool is having a gardening contest, where the winner of the largest fruit or vegetable wins a trip to a dude ranch for a long weekend, Darin is determined to win, but his parents, Tommy and Silvia, get a bit too carried away in helping him, causing Tommy to realize he's more like his father than he thought, recalling the events of The Science Pair, from his preteen days. Regardless though, to make it up to Darin, while he doesn't win, he does get to take a trip to a ranch, and it's in fact, another piece of his father's childhood. Tentative Release Date: Unsure at this time. Guest Reviews: As of January 23, 2016, absolutely no guest reviews will be accepted! In fact, I'm not even going to read the reviews, if I see it's from a guest, it's getting deleted, without a second thought. I'm done with people who not only use that guest feature to ridicule my stories, but on top of that, they ridicule me as a person, nearly crushing my spirits, when they don't even know me, simply making assumptions about my past and everything I've done, only seeing the negative side of me, rather than getting to know me, and finding out that I truly am, a nice, positive person. I'm sick of people who see me as such a horrible creature, thus, if I see it's a guest review, whether good or bad, I'm simply deleting it, not bothering to read it. Therefore, from now on, you MUST have an account on this website to post reviews, and, they'd better be nice, kind, positive reviews. If I start receiving reviews from logged in users that are only abusive attacks towards me and or my stories, I will be getting you reported, most likely to both, the Fan Fiction admins, and to the Police, so I'd keep your mouth shut if I were you, if you don't have anything nice to say, thank you very much. Also, while the rule still stands where guest reviews are concerned, which is, no guest reviews what so ever, I am also going to state here that I will also not tollerate guests trying to trick me and others, by making us think they're actual registered users authors on this website. I recently encountered such a situation, and could have nearly lost one of my friends, had we not talked it out and gotten the situation resolved. This is a note to everyone, that not only is such trickery immature, it's a fraud! And while I'm not all that much of an expert where legal stuff is concerned, as I'm no lawyer, fraud is illegal last I knew. Always check the spelling of the name the guest uses, versus the real author's username on Fan Fiction, and it doesn't hurt to check with the real author, to make sure that they're not playing tricks like that. Chances are, if it's spelled differently, then it's probably somebody playing a trick, but it doesn't hurt to be sure, just to make sure the stories are straight with everybody involved. If they are, do whatever you see fit, but if I should ever find out that any real authors are playing any dirty tricks on me, I will be blocking them indefinitely, no questions asked. However, all is cleaned up where that situation I went through on the morning of June 26, 2016 is concerned, but sadly, this does mean the ban on guest reviews will continue to be in effect on my stories indefinitely, and I'm sorry to those people who'd like to review who would never be harmful, but don't have accounts out here. Unfortunately, nastiness effects everybody, so try to remember that the next time you decide to be publically mean to someone. Anyway, that's the update for now. Rugrats Revival For anyone who isn't aware, Nickelodeon is considering bringing back several of its 90's classic programs as revivals or reboots in the coming year, and as you might have guessed, Rugrats is one of the ones being considered. There's been talk about a movie to star all of the Nicktoons, which could be as successful as the Disney animated television series, 'House of Mouse,' or it could be just as big of a flop as the third Rugrats movie and second Wild Thornberry's movie, the crossover known as 'Rugrats go Wild,' which was released in theaters back in June of 2003. But there's also talk about bringing each series Nickelodeon is considering as a reboot, and in my personal opinion, here are my 2 possible predictions for Rugrats if it should come back. 1. Just as in 1996, when they returned with season 4, after being on hiatus for roughly 2 and a half years at this point post their first 65 episodes (3 seasons), they'll return 12 years later after being canceled in June of 2004 at the end of season 9, with a tenth season, picking up more or less, where they left off, with episode 173 and beyond. 2. The more obvious and likely thing to happen. For anybody who's unaware, Rugrats turns 25-years-old on August 11, 2016. And remember what we got in 2001 when they had been arouhnd for a decade? the All Growed Up special, where we saw the Rugrats at age 10, and that was only the beginning, as 2 years later in 2003, we got the spinoff series, All Grown Up, where it was just that, a series revolving around our favorite adorable Rugrats as preteens. Well duh, based on what I previously stated here, with them turning 25 next year, what do you expect? If you thought they were cute as babies and preteens, just wait until you see them at age 25, with offspring of their own! This would obviously lead to another spinoff, where we get a reboot of Rugrats, this time, it revolves around the toddlers of the next generation, or to put it simply for people who read my stories on Fan Fiction, the original producers version of my Fan Fiction story, 'The Offspring.' Either way, I have no doubt that whichever prediction I came up with up above, either one would be very successful. Yet though, it's quite possible that something is going to happen that I haven't thought of, and even that could be just as good. Currently though, these revivals are only in the talking stages, as Nickelodeon rolls out a new home for the 90's Nickelodeon shows called The Splat, an eight hour block seven nights a week on Teen Nick, dedicated to 90's Nick programming. It started on October 5, 2015, and chances are this will make the decision of what programs to revive much easier, as the shows that everybody has loved over the years will finally be on somewhat at hours of the day when both, today's children and their parents, AKA yesterday's fans are watching, bettering the Neilson ratings, and based on the ratings of what each program gets, will make it easier for Nickelodeon to come to a decision as to which shows to make into reboots or revivals come the 2016 year. I appreciate this new block, as while I enjoyed The 90's Are All That on Teen Nick, it did come on later at night, and they were running the same program lineup every night for the past 2 years now more or less. Therefore, I believe it was time for a change, and The Splat, has been doing that. And trust me, while I personally would love to see a revival of Rugrats, or a reboot with the next generation and our favorite toddlers and AGU tweens in their mid twenty's, that's just it, while I may be the world's biggest and oldest fan of Rugrats, I am only one person, if it were up to me, sadly, my one little vote means absolutely nothing. Even if the idea gets canned, I'm happy continuing to enjoy the stories that I and other authors come up with on Fan Fiction, and watching repeats on The Splat and DVD. Yet though, since I did get my start on Fan Fiction 10 years later to the day of Rugrats cancelation back in 2004, getting my start in June of 2014, let me state here and now that if the revival of Rugrats does take place, while the revival is in effect, I will be on hiatus, or for sure, on hiatus from releasing new Rugrats fan fics. Will I branch out to other fandoms at that time? Or will I take a complete hiatus all together? That has yet to be determined, but look on the bright side. You'll have me to look forward to when Rugrats is canceled again, and or if a series finale is actually reached this next time around. And just as rewatching the first 9 seasons and the 5 seasons of All Grown Up, along with the 2 Tales from the Crib specials and the 4 episodes of Pre-School Daze, as well as taking care of my nephew have inspired the bulk of my stories, as well as the obvious of personal life experiences, the revival can only inspire several more stories to come out of that large imagination of mine, so jump for joy people, and for now, I'll continue to release stories whenever I possibly can, and keep you all posted on anything further I hear with regards to this possible revival, which will show up in this section of my profile. An Update on the Revival First of all, the good news, that might be a clue as to what's to possibly come in the future. For starters, Hey Arnold fans will be pleased to learn that The Jungle Movie is finally going to be finished, and hopefully released, in 2016. Secondly, I don't know for sure, but looks like if Rugrats should return, we're gonna get a revival of All Grown Up, but this time, we'll see our favorite toddlers and tweens, as full fledged adults. And how have I come to this prediction? When browsing around on Twitter, I ran into the following tweet. This tweet was posted by Twitter user, @BradyOnAir, and here's what they had to say. An Artist from the #Rugrats drew what the cast would look like today. They all look like they work at Taco Bell. www.pic.twitter.com/8zPTYQeIeD If you click on the above link, or rather, copy and paste it into your browser, and take a look, the Rugrats have indeed, been depicted here as full fledged adults. And since this was drawn by the original animaters, it's definitely a clue in terms of what's coming down the road. It's even quite possible that for starters, they'll appear as adults in this crossover movie that's in the works with all of the 90's Nicktoons joining together to save the world, but we'll know for sure in due time. But again, this wouldn't be any surprise, as the Rugrats do turn 25-years-old on 8/11/16, and they sure do look it by the picture from what I gather. The only sad news about these possible revivals, is the downfall that's been happening on Fan Fiction since the announcement was made. Granted, school was starting up for me and several of the authors out here at the same time back in September, but seems there was a lot more activity and regular updates from various authors in the Rugrats All Grown Up fandom around this time last year, giving me more of the motivation and inspiration to want to release material. Now, I don't feel like it's a fun activity, but rather, I feel I have to release material to this fandom to keep it alive, putting a great deal of pressure on me, sucking much of the fun out of it. And while it could just be a cooencidence, I seriously think the talk of this revival has steered the bulk of the authors away, because they're thinking, if Rugrats and All Grown Up are returning, what's the point of releasing stories on Fan Fiction anymore? The way I see it. I'm going by the notion that nothing has changed, until we know for sure that revivals and reboots are returning, and a date for the premiers has been announced. At that point, there's a chance I'll take a hiatus, but right now, I'm acting like nothing has changed, and I seriously wish that the bulk of the authors out here would do the same. If they did, perhaps it would inspire and motivate me to want to release material, because I wouldn't feel so alone, being one of the few to release stuff on a day-to-day basis, or every few days, depending on my schedule, which has become more jam packed over the last few months, if the fact that bad luck plaguing me more frequently hasn't had anything to do with it. Between all of these things though, it has caused me to decline, and for that, I do apologize. Yet though, that is how I feel at this point, and if anything else should come about, I'll provide another update. Chances are those updates will be dated, since this one was posted on November 30, 2015, and I won't be deleting any of these, creating as you might say, a timeline of events as time marches on. Revival Update as of January 20, 2016 Over the course of my winter vacation, I heard that the Nicktoon, As Told by Ginger, may be getting the reboot treatment come 2017. I can't recall all of the details at this time, but seems it will follow Ginger's high school years, and the producers of this rebooted series will differ from those who originally produced it back in the early 2000's. However, it will still be on Nickelodeon network wise. Revival Update as of March, 2016 Hey Arnold and Legends of the Hidden Temple fans, can jump for joy! It's official, the new Hey Arnold movie where we finally find out what happened to Arnold's parents, has been greenlighted for production, and from what I gather, it's going to be a made for TV movie, airing at sometime in 2017. Also, a breakthrough in movie production is about to take place, as Nickelodeon Movies and Paramount takes Legends of the Hidden Temple, one of Nickelodeon's best game shows from the mid 90's, and turns it, into a feature length film! I don't know all of the details of the movie, but I do know that much of what was featured in the game show, will be in the film, and the original host of the show, Kert Fog, has returned to be in the film. It will be interesting to see a game show turned into a movie, and no doubt, I'll be going to see it, when this movie is released! And if it's successful, who knows, maybe other game shows will follow a similar example in the future. Yeah, seeing Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy, or Who Wants to be a Millionaire, turned into movies, could be interesting, but let's see how Legends of the Hidden Temple goes, before we get too carried away with whacky ideas. Revival Update as of August 8, 2016 I've heard that the Legends of the Hidden Temple movie is coming out sometime in the fall of 2016, and it's going to be a made for TV movie I believe. The same goes for the new Hey Arnold movie, which is keeping its original title, The Jungle Movie (TJM), it, too, is going to be a made for TV movie, picking up where the original series left off, airing on Nickelodeon in November of 2017, around Thanksgiving. The movie has been in production since 2013, and several panels of the film like art work were shown this summer at the Comic Con in Sandiego, California. Also, the voice cast, along with producers of Hey Arnold, including the writers of the music and Creg Bartlet himself are working on this project, and while some voices had to be recasted because the original voice cast was too old to supply this material, those original voice actors, those that are still alive anyway, are returning to lend a hand to other characters in the film. It's surely to be a breath taking experience, as I have heard that the characters are a few years older than they were in the original series, and a lot of them have changed a great deal in how they look, but beyond that, this epic film ought to hopefully be something, that Hey Arnold fans, both old and new, will greatly appreciate, and I, personally, cannot wait until next year to see this movie, when it comes out! Revival Update as of October 9, 2016 Exciting news! There's now a date for the television premier, of the Legends of the Hidden Temple Movie! It will be airing on Nickelodeon at 08:00 p.m. Eastern, on Saturday, November 26, 2016! I also hear that if the movie is successful, they're considering bringing the game show back for a new generation. Not only that, but also on Thanksgiving weekend of this year, okay, on the day before Thanksgiving technically, at 10:00 p.m. Eastern Time on Wednesday, November 23, 2016, Double Dare, which celebrated its 30th. anniversary as of October 6, 2016, will be having a one night only all new special at 10:00 p.m. Eastern on both, Nick at Nite and The Splat, with all of the original cast members, including Marc Summers and Harvey, and all new contestants! It's surely to be an epic anniversary special, one will never forget! And finally, more news about the Hey Arnold Jungle Movie. It's scheduled for release come Thanksgiving of 2017, and hopefully, a Hey Arnold marathon will lead up to the premier of the 2 hour movie on Nickelodeon, airing the prequel to the movie, the hour long special, The Journal beforehand. And, if this made for TV movie is successful, be looking for a season 6 of Hey Arnold to come down the road! Revival Update as of November 16, 2016 Yes! Yes! Yes! It's the moment we've been waiting for people! That's right, voice actress, Cheryl Chase, the voice behind Angelica Pickles, assuming she's not acting in character and trying to trick us lol, has announced on her Facebook page earlier this week that it's official that Rugrats will be getting a revival in the future. Nope, not a reboot, but a revival. It's still up in the air if it will kick off with a made for TV movie or a full season of the series, but I'm sure we'll find out over time as more news becomes available, and one of my latest ongoing projects on Fan Fiction, a sequel to a story started by user, DemonAloisTrancy, called The Real Rugrats Life, my story obviously being called, The Real Rugrats Life Revival, will play out the events as we see the revival happen in the coming months and years. I'll also plan to feature bloopers, outtakes, and deleted scenes that I and other users come up with for the revival's new episodes and or made for TV movie in my other ongoing and one of my most popular stories, Rugrat Bloopers, as well, so be looking for that down the road, post the revival taking off of course. Revival Update as of November 26, 2016 Well, looks like I spoke too soon. The Facebook post I mentioned in my last revival update has since been deleted, so it's hard to know if this was just, another rumor, or if indeed, the revival is happening, but that Cheryl Chase was caught leaking out too much information early on, being prompted to take the post down, or possibly getting her Facebook account suspended, or worse, losing her job. Bottom line, I don't know what's really going on, but at the moment, nothing's been set in stone yet from what I can see, and the way I see it, while I'm not going to give up hope yet, if no revival has happened come the Rugrats 30th. anniversary, which hits on August 11, 2021, then it's safe to say, that they will remain forever on Fan Fiction, and no where else. And as long as I'm alive, you can bet there'll be plenty of stories to enjoy in the Rugrats All Grown Up fandom. But again, let's not give up hope yet. If any other news should come out, I'll continue to post updates in this section of my profile, so keep checking back for updates, because you never know what can happen in this crazy mixed up world we live in sometimes. Revival Update as of July 20, 2017 Still no word on if the Rugrats TV series is going to be rebooted, but fans of the Rugrats Comic Adventures, which were released originally in 3 volumes with 10 issues each between 1997 and 2001, get ready for a reboot of the Comic Adventures, coming in October of 2017! Don't believe me? You can learn more by checking out the following link. http:///comics/2017/07/10/boom-studios-rugrats-comics/ Revival Update as of May 9, 2018 Heard from Fan Fiction user, Brainyxbat, that in 2019, Netflix will be releasing a revival of Rugrats. However, hold your breath, because if you're a hard core fan of the classic Rugrats series from 1991 to 2004, you're in for a huge disappointment. In this version, Dil and Kimi will cease to exist, and Angelica is no longer the antagonist, but rather, the younger sister of 3 older siblings who will be the antagonists of the series. I'm sorry, but whoever's idea it was to produce this series is an airhead, and I'm unsure if I'll be bothering to check out this reboot, as it doesn't sound very promising. Revival Update as of July 17, 2018 It's finally happening people! This is not a drill, this is not fake news, Nickelodeon has indeed, confirmed that it will be happening. Yep, Rugrats is set to be rebooted at an undetermined date at this time, I'm assuming come the year 2020, or possibly the year 2019 at the earliest. They've ordered 26 episodes, plus there's a Live action movie in the works. I also hear that Arlene Klasky, Gabor Csupo, and Paul Germaine are Executive Producers on the project. That's all that's known at this time to my knowledge, but if you want living proof that it's really happening, Variety posted an article yesterday, and you can read the full article at this link. https:///2018/tv/news/rugrats-tv-relaunch-movie-1202874434/?sf193783294=1 Next up, I now have an account over on , username is the same over there as it is here on Fan Fiction. However, because I find their site to be a bit slow and buggy at times, don't expect to find me posting to the TV Tropes page for Rugrats, or for any content what so ever up there very often, if at all. If I should know the user who posted about something I wish to discuss with them out here on Fan Fiction, chances are it's something we can talk about via private messaging out here on this site. As of September 22, 2015, I now have an account on , and in particular, I have joined the Rugrats Wiki community. You can view my profile page by going to this link. /wiki/User:Celrock. My contributions over there will most likely be, to clean up any pages that are broken or any incomplete Rugrats transcripts, and or add knowledge to other areas of the site, as I've found several pieces of information on Steve Mindikowski's 2 unofficial Rugrats online websites that so far, I haven't run into on the Rugrats wiki yet, so may eventually, go update some of those pages with the editional information that's not listed on the wiki, but that's on the two unofficial Rugrats online websites. I also posted my first blog entry over there back on April 10, 2016, concerning a rant I had about The Splat, and an idea for a theme to do in the future for a Rugrats marathon, and chances are, I'll post more blog entries on my Wikia account in the future. Also, as of March of 2017, I now have an account over on Deviantart, where I post journal entries and status updates about various things, from top ten lists, to general updates of how I'm doing, etc. Wish to check it out? Please visit http://, to learn more! The original profile, can be found down below, and as of August 7, 2015, after finding an old Rugrats TV guide on one of the unofficial Rugrats online websites, listing every single episode between October of 1996 and September of 2003, my profile has been updated in terms of its history, to feature specific dates when it comes to particular happenings I mention from my childhood, so hope you enjoy the update. Before we get into the nitty gritty of this profile, I have a very special thanks I must publically state here. The following is a letter I've written to my nephew Zachary, as a special thanks for all he has done, as without him, chances are that my Fan Fiction stories, or a good majority of them, would cease to exist. Dear Zachary, Chances are you won't read this letter until many years from now at the time I'm writing it, as at the time I am writing this letter, it is only June 8, 2015, and you're still just a baby, but you don't know just how much you mean to me. I of course, adore you as my nephew, and I wouldn't have it any other way. You're sweet, cute, funny, fun to hang out with, and I love helping to take care of you when your parents and grandparents need a break. But on a completely different note, you have also been a huge inspiration for the bulk of my stories on Fan Fiction. You inspired me to create an original character, that is very much based off of you in a lot of ways, and off of myself and others I've known throughout my lifetime in other ways, and this OC has become quite popular around the Rugrats/All Grown Up fandom here on Fan Fiction. Also, many of the things we've done together, or things you or I've experienced throughout our lifetime, have inspired the bulk of my stories as well. However, it is thanks to you that I have been inspired to reach out to my creative side, and write the many stories that have been published at the time I wrote this letter, as well as when you see it many years from now, and possibly many more stories, should I still be writing stories at the time you read this, I thank you for being one of my biggest inspirations, and I hope you enjoy all of the stories I have published here, that you helped to inspire. Regardless if I'm still writing or not by the time you read this, my stories are not going anywhere, so, I hope you enjoy them, and think of me when you read these stories, as the bulk of these stories came from ideas given to me by fellow Fan Fic users, as well as deep within my heart and soul, mind, and imagination. Love, Your Aunt Celeste Disclaimer: While I post this at the start of all of my one-shot stories, or at least at the start of the first chapter on my multi chapter stories, I will state here on my profile that I do not own Rugrats, or any other fandom I should write for, whether it be Disney ones, Bobby's World, and so on. The property of the original characters from the cartoons, books, movies, TV shows, and so on I write about, are the property of their original creaters. I only own any original characters (OC's), you don't recognize, and the OC's I use that belong to other fan fiction users, belong to those fan fiction users. Trust me, if I did own Rugrats anyway, the following 25 things in my opinion anyway, would have been changed. 1. There would be 10 seasons of the series, and the finale of the show would have ended, with Tommy turning 3-years-old. 2. The series, Preschool Days, would have been a spinoff series post the conclusion of Rugrats, following Tommy, Chuckie, Phil, Lil and Kimi's days in preschool, opposed to the original release, which followed Susie and Angelica's days in preschool. Also for this reason, the piolot episode, "Preschool Days," would have aired during season 10, and it would have focused around the gang going to a preschool to undergo special testing to get into the school, like what Nicky and Alex did on an episode of Full House, when Jessie and Becky were trying to get them into Bouton Hall. 3. By the end of Rugrats, Dil would have been walking on his own, and talking much like the other toddlers. We would also continue to see him progress as a toddler during Preschool Days, so still getting some of that Rugrat nastalja, seeing Dil at the age his brother was during the bulk of the series. 4. As far as All Grown Up is concerned, the series would have followed the gang from middle school, all the way up through high school, ending at their high school graduation. 5. With having a couple of spin off series between Rugrats and All Grown Up, my take on Preschool Days, and possibly another series called The Childhood Years, which would follow the Rugrats gang through elementary school, we could have really seen how the gang developed within that first 10 years of life, developing Dil and Kimi's characters a bit more in that sense, as well as the other characters, making All Grown Up in the end, a bit more appealing, as we continue to watch the gang go through teenage hood. 6. During All Grown Up, we would see a lot happen, from everybody going through puberty, finding their possible life long partner, and so on. 7. Come the finale of All Grown Up, when it's time for them to graduate from high school, even if that was it, and a spinoff series with them in college didn't happen, mainly because it's quite possible they're all splitting off, going their separate ways at this point, we'd at least know what they've all chosen as career paths to take for their adult lives, being able to end the series on a good note that says, maybe they can't stay together forever, but they've all grown up and picked out some good career paths to follow throughout adulthood. 8. Just like Startrek did a spinoff series called, Startrek, The Next Generation, following the children of the original Startrek characters, who says Rugrats wouldn't do this too? If I owned the Rugrats, my Fan Fic story, The Offspring, would parody that Startrek series, as we see the next generation of the Rugrats, seeing their children, and seeing them go on adventures and get into as much trouble as their parents once did way back when they were young. Also, we'd get a glimps at the Rugrats as parents, and their lives as adults in this case. 9. Just as fans voted for their top 10 episodes of all times when Rugrats reached being on the air for a decade back in 2001, I'd have fans submit episode ideas to us, either via Fan Fiction, or via various contests that would be issued on Nickelodeon from time to time, making the show more interesting, as we get the voices and imaginations of the fans heard, as they help to come up with new episodes, and the episodes they came up with, if picked, their names would be listed in the closing credits. It would be something new, and I think doing this, would help keep fans more engaged with the series for a longer period, knowing that they were a huge contributer in terms of helping to see the show continue. Would we pay them? Not sure if we'd wanna be paying children a large sum of money, but we might pay them in other ways, by having them be featured at such things as interviews, Kid's Choice Award ceremonies, and or maybe featured as an audio commentary guest on a DVD release of the series during the seasons in which their episodes aired, with a bonus edition of their episode, complete with audio commentary, given by the fan writer who wrote the episode him or herself, reachable through the bonus material on the DVD menu for that particular season's release of the series. 10. The Offspring would age by a year each season, just as they will be doing in my Fan Fic story, and as far as Rugrats is concerned, while they had 3 full-length movies and 9 seasons originally, as well as 2 Live shows, a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and a balloon in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, there's one thing that Rugrats never had, and that's, a Broadway musical! Along with 10 seasons of the show, and Tommy turning 3 at the end of the series, not sure what would happen in the musical, but if I owned Rugrats, they'd be crawling on to the stage of Broadway by storm, and who knows if Broadway, would ever be the same again. 11. At the start of season 4, we would have found out Didi was pregnant with Dil, opposed to when we found out at the end of season 5, in The Family Tree special, right before The Rugrats Movie was released. Had it been done in my alternative way though, we would have seen Didi's pregnancy with Dil progress during the 4th. and 5th. season, and at the end of season 5, in the last episode before The Rugrats Movie came out, she'd go into labor, ending season 5 on a cliff hanger, and viewers would have to go see the movie, to find out what happened. 12. Rugrats Go Wild would have never happened. Ok, so there might have been atime when the Rugrats met the Thornberry's, but it would have been in a standard Rugrats episode released during season 9, where the Thornberry's pay a visit to the town where the Rugrats live, opposed to the whole getting stranded on an island thing that took place in Rugrats Go Wild. 13. In the final season of Rugrats, which had I owned them, would have been season 10, as well as Dil walking by the end of the series, Tommy would have said his first word to the grown ups as well, and all of the Rugrats would be more or less, potty trained, with the exception of Dil. 14. My stories, PreRugrats and The Washington DC Story, would have been featured during the final season, as either full length movies or mini series specials. 15. The DVD releases of the seasons would feature more than Play All and Episode Selection on the main menus. There's be Bonus Material, featuring fun trivia games, deleted scenes, and episodes with audio commentary given by the producers and voice casts. We'd also have the theme music play in the background of the main menu screen, just like it does on the Decade in Diapers DVD. And there'd also be the options, Set Up, allowing you to watch Rugrats in several different languages besides English, if English isn't your native language, and there'd be the Sneak Peak option, which would show previews, and yes, it would be the same previews that appeared at the start of the old orange video cassettes, those movie adds to the tune of Happy Days, being featured on all Sneak Peak options. Also, while Play All, Episode Selection, Bonus Material and Set up would appear on all discs in the season's DVD set, Sneak Peak would only appear on disc 1 of each season, and just like on the Dinosaurs season DVD releases, the previews would play prior to the main menu appearing on disc one, but viewers could hit the main menu DVD button on their remote to skip the previews if they wished. Also, the color of the discs themselves would be the same bright orange color as the video cassettes. Note that this is the side of the discs that faces up in your DVD player, the bottom would continue to be shiny as it's always been. 16. A real Father's Day episode would have aired, and not the cheaply thrown together Father's Day special, featuring two episodes that previously aired. This Father's Day special would have aired sometime after the movie Rugrats in Paris was released, and in the episode, we'd learn about Kimi's biological father, Hiro. 17. One of my least favorite Rugrats episodes, Slumber Party, would have played out a lot differently. First of all, Chuckie, Phil, and Lil, along with Angelica, would have been at Tommy's first slumber party, and as for the rest of the episode, Angelica would have taught the babies how to play Truth or Dare, daring the babies to stay awake all night, getting into lots of trouble along the way, in the end, learning how dangerous the game, Truth or Dare, can really be, and as a result of this, Angelica gets in a lot of trouble, having to spend the rest of the week in time out. 18. Not sure when it would have aired, but there'd be a Rugrats episode, where we meet Charlotte's side of the family. 19. There'd be a Veterin's Day special of Rugrats, where grandpa Lou tells a story of his days in the war, and his story, would be the main focus of the episode. 20. While originally, Bow Wow Wedding Vows was an Easter special, had I created Rugrats, Bow Wow Wedding Vows wouldn't have been an Easter special, but just, its own special about Spike and Fifi having puppies, and instead, we'd have a separate Easter special, that would have taken place most likely between The Rugrats Movie and Rugrats in Paris, featuring Dil in the special, but not Kimi, just like in the cases with the Valentine's Day special, and the Discover America episode, which I tend to link with the Fourth of July. 21. Just as we had two Halloween episodes, and two Christmas episodes of Rugrats, we'd also have two Valentine's day episodes, the second one, obviously featuring Kimi in it, as well as Dil and the rest of the gang. 22. We'd have a New Years special of Rugrats. 23. By the end of the Rugrats series, we would see each baby celebrate at least one, if not two birthdays on the program. 24. Just as we saw Stu and Drew as babies in the episode, Sour Pickles, eventually, we'd see all of the other parents be babies in future Rugrats episodes, either in flashbacks or in instances where they get Amnesia, like what happened with Stu in the episode, Regarding Stuie. It's also quite possible, that at some point during the series, we'd also get glimpses at what Susie and Kimi were like as little babies as well. 25. Just as we see Chuckie and Angelica have some crushes on people at the park in various Rugrats episodes, we'd also see Tommy, Phil, Lil, Susie, Kimi, and Dil go through similar experiences in some Rugrats episodes in later seasons. And now that that's out of the way, on to the original profile you all are familiar with, with some modifications made, and some extra bonuses added, further down near the end. It should also be noted, that I compiled the bulk of the profile down below back in the summer of 2014, so apologies if some things are somewhat out of date at the time you're reading it. Hello and welcome to my little corner of the Fan Fiction site. My pin name is celrock, but my real name is Celeste. I am very much a kid at heart, and I've had a love for using my imagination and creative story writing ever since I was little. I'll admit, I'm probably the oldest person to write regularly on here for the Rugrats/All Grown Up fandom, in both, the regular and crossovers sections, but do I care? No I don't. So what if I'm the oldest Rugrats fan to have a Fan Fiction account. Age doesn't matter to me in the least. While this doesn't have to do with Rugrats, a lesson I have taken from another Nicktoon I dearly enjoy, Hey Arnold, is the advice that Arnold gives a lot, "It doesn't matter what others think. What matters is what you think." And I think I'm doing just fine the way I am, and if you guys don't like it, then I'd close your browser and read no further if you're just going to come up here to make trouble for me, because I'm not here to put up with your drama and bs. I am here to have a good time, make friends, and live up to the true image of myself. I'm tired of hiding my kid at heart nature behind the closet door. And so, let me continue to introduce myself, not hiding any part of myself from here on out, because I feel that hiding myself in part has effected me negatively over the years, making me have an even worse temper over the years, causing me to do some pretty distructive things, like breaking several computers, and at one time, going off to live with some con artists when I was unhappy at a college university, scaring my family half to death. But now that I've found Fan Fiction, I've found I've been able to find it easier to control my temper in several situations that I use to find it harder to control my temper in at one time, and, that makes me happy that I have found the hobby of Fan Fiction, to be a way to help me find an outlet to get away from the frustrations of the world, and channeling any anger I may be feeling at the time, into positive energy. With that out of the way, let's get back to what I was originally talking about at hand. So anyway, like I was saying, in recent years, I've taken a break from such childish content to focus on my career to become a radio broadcaster, and that's my main focus in school. But now that I'm currently on a permanent hiatus from my hobby of Internet radio broadcasting, only doing anything having to do with broadcasting out at school, and or at a terrestrial radio station post graduating, when I can finally get a job and move on to the next chapter of my life, but anyway, as a result of this, I've taken the liberty to pick back up my hobby of creative writing again. When you get to know me, you'll soon learn that I'm very much, a kid at heart. I have just about every Disney movie on DVD, but my all time favorite TV show growing up was the Rugrats, and here's the story in its entirety, from when I saw the TV series for the very first time, up to the moment I started becoming a fan fiction writer of Rugrats All Grown Up stories. What I'm about to share with you, is quite long, so I recommend you make yourself comfortable, as I take you on this big adventure. It was October 30, 1993. My family and I had recently moved to Pittsfield, Massachusetts, gotten cable, and I got a television in my room. Naturally, being the 8-year-old girl I was at the time, except for when I changed the channel to ABC to catch my favorite game show at that time, Wheel of Fortune, and to watch the TGIF lineup, I kept it tuned into the first and only network for kids, Nickelodeon. On that particular Saturday night in late October, I had my taste in being introduced to my first two nicktoons, Doug and Rugrats. Because Halloween was just around the corner, they were obviously, running the Halloween episodes of the nicktoons. So for Rugrats, this meant my first episode of the show was Candy Bar Creep Show, which premiered around Halloween in 1991 during season 1, though at this time, I had no knowledge of this. In the episode, the babies go off in search of Reptar bars after Angelica tells them about the bars turning your tongue green, and go into the garage where Tommy and Angelica’s daddys have set up a haunted house. In their attempt to get the Reptar bars, they end up scaring everyone including Angelica and Tommy’s grandpa. They end up getting the Reptar bars in the end, and yes, they do indeed, turn your tongue green. Because the majority of the episodes were 11 minute episodes, the second episode to air during that half hour block from 7:30 PM to 8:00 PM Eastern was Monster in the Garage, where everyone hears a loud crash and Tommy’s dog Spike is blamed, but the babies figure there’s a monster in the garage causing all of the trouble, so venture to the garage to look for it, and discover it’s nothing more than a tiny mouse. I found the show cute and decided to watch it some more on my own to see if it grew on me. The following Saturday, or some Saturday in the future, recall my second episode of the show being Game Show Didi, when Tommy’s mommy goes on a game show where she has to answer trivia questions and is matched up against a genius. Tommy, Phil and Lil set off through the TV studio to help Tommy’s mommy find her place in the sun. I’m not sure when I finally told my parents or at least my mom anyway about discovering Doug and Rugrats, but not too long after that, mom started taping them for me on Sunday mornings on the VCR, because they aired from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, with Doug at 10 and Rugrats at 10:30, and at such time, we were at church. I’d watch them on Sunday afternoons post getting home, recall the first time mom taped them for me, only the first 11 minute episode of Rugrats taped, Mommy’s Little Assets, because the tape ran out, but sometime during the winter or the spring of 1994, when I discovered that Doug and Rugrats also came on Saturday mornings from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM, I finally saw the other episode that aired after it, which was Chuckie’s Wonderful Life. I should point out here before I go too much further, that if you’ve been living under a rock, and you have no clue about what I’m talking about, please feel free to PM and ask questions, and I’ll be happy to fill you in. While I enjoyed the show though, it took me a little bit before I discovered who my favorite character on the series was. That all came about on one of the rare Sunday mornings where for whatever reason, we didn’t go to church sometime in early 1994. On this particular Sunday morning, January 2, 1994 to be exact, I saw the episodes of Rugrats titled Naked Tommy and Tommy and the Secret Club. Call me whatever you want, but I just thought Tommy was so cute without any clothes on! I fell in love with him, and my childhood crush lasted nearly 10 years, though it started to phase out somewhat near the end of the year 2000, when I spent more of my free time, making home movies as being a pretend babysitter to an imaginary friend named Keenan, based off a real little boy my mom worked with at her job at the time, and I completely broke up with Tommy in my mind childhood crush wise come Valentine’s Day of 2004, when I was away at the Perkins Outreach Theater Program and met my one and only real Live boyfriend, Ben. I was with Ben until February of 2011, we broek it off, remaining friends to this very day, but sadly, I’m sorry to say that the crush I had on Tommy Pickles has never come back, and seeing that I’m 30-years-old, while my love for Rugrats will never disappear, I’m afraid being in love with my favorite character to the point of wanting to mary him and spend the rest of my life with him is a thing of the past, as it should be by now.But since this is an entry of memories, I’ll tell you the entire story, from the first time I saw Rugrats, up to the present moment, and what I hope to see in the future, as I continue to grow older, and live out the rest of my life. I’d have to say the real obsession started to become noticeable by the public sometime around early November of 1994. It was a rainy Friday morning, and because of the bad weather, we had to wait indoors at school in the gym slash cafeteria slash auditorium to head down to our classes. I seem to recall while playing with my toys the night before, I discovered that I could make myself sound exactly like Tommy Pickles, and couldn’t wait to show everybody! So that morning, and here I am, looking back on the event and laughing about it now as I’m trying to type it out, but I’m sure I made a total fool of myself at the time. For no apparent reason, I just burst out dancing, singing in the new Tommy voice I had figured out, proclaiming that I was Tommy Pickles and that this was my house, throwing in some oh yeah's and clapping my hands, almost like a little rap and dance. I did this till it was time to go to class, but it didn’t end there. Later that very same day, mom and I went to East Street Video to rent some movies for my brother, who was sick with one of the many diseases he seemed to get as a teenager, don’t ask. But anyway, I ran into my first piece of Rugrats murchandise, a Rugrats poster! Mom got it for me, and while it sadly, didn’t last very long, I had fun looking at it, as it lived its short little life for a few months, leaning up against my closet door on the floor, as I’d sit and stare at it for hours, imagining my own Rugrats adventures. Don’t ask me to retell of those adventures, as I have no reckalection of them now, but it was fun nonetheless. But if you think it all stopped there, boy are you wrong. I continued to pretend to be Tommy at most recesses, and because the gym teacher had no clue how to include me, a person with multiple disabilities in gym class, as I have a visual impairment, though have been more or less, totally blind since mid 2010, a hearing impairment, mild Cerebral Palsy, and have ADHD, I got to play up on the stage for the auditorium part of the school, and pretended I was Tommy, it was my house, and whoever was sent up there to play with me, usually one of the girls, would be Tommy’s mom, and we found some old boots up there one time, and I use to pretend they were my bottles or something. I called them my bobbas or something like that. It made everybody mad at the time, but it’s funny how now that I sit here, practically 20 years later, I can look back and laugh at such whackiness. As the weeks droaned on, I soon learned from some of my other classmates that Rugrats wasn’t just on Saturday mornings and nights, and Sunday mornings anymore, but also on every weeknight at 6:30 on Nickelodeon, so started watching it fairly regularly before I’d switch over to Wheel of Fortune on ABC at 7. Then, during either spring break of 1995, or, more likely sometime during the summer of 1995, between my third and fourth grade years, I learned that Rugrats was also airing to kick off the Nick Jr. block on Nickelodeon at 9:00 AM, and would enjoy the show while I ate breakfast. I use to pretend some of my dolls were the Rugrats, a bald headed cabbage patch doll was Tommy, a set of twins with pink and blue clothing played Phil and Lil, a larger doll with blond hair played Angelica, and a doll with orange hair that my teacher for the visually impaired in Bartlesville, Oklahoma made for me as a moving away present, played Chuckie. While riding the bus home, I use to imagine what Tommy might have been like at my age. His voice hadn’t changed, and he ended up with a bunch of younger brothers and sisters, and he’d get off at one of the really nice looking houses the bus would stop at on the way to my house, which was one of the last stops on that bus’s route. And at night, I’d dream I was once again, a Rugrat, and Tommy and I would always play wedding. At sometime during my third grade year, I wrote a paper on what fictional person I’d like to be for a day and why. I of course chose Tommy, and I told everyone that it was because I could be a normal baby, with no disabilities or limitations, allowing me to do lots of things that I missed out on as a child, because of my limitations, and watching the TV show let me live out the childhood I never had. Then, one Sunday evening, I was curled up in mommy and daddy’s bed with them, talking about how I wanted to marry Tommy Pickles. So my parents came up with the whole sinario of how I could marry Tommy and have sweet little gurkins, or baby pickles. We all laughed, and that stuck for a very long time. This went on during third and fourth grade, as my obsession with watching the show every time it aired and talking about it irritated my brother. It got so bad, that whenever I did something bad, he’d say, “You’re acting just like Angelica!” I told everyone and their mother about the show. At school, at church, and I even got my hair dresser Amy at the time, to turn on Rugrats for her little boy, who happened to fall in love with the show, and a few years later, found out he also liked Cousin Skeeter as well as Rugrats. Even more interesting and fascinating, my third grade teacher watched Rugrats during its 6:30 PM weeknight run, which was quite fascinating in itself, as the lady was single, with no husband or children. While this all continued up through the fourth grade, come the summer of 1996, I was grounded for a month as a result of doing some stupid things at a slumber party. It was called, playing Truth or Dare and lying about it. As a result, I couldn’t watch TV, which meant no Rugrats for a month. This in turn, caused me to stop talking about the show so much anymore, and I was contemplating not watching it anymore, as I had seen all of the episodes several times by that time, and I was tired of irritating my brother. But I would soon find out that giving up Rugrats wasn’t the thing to do, not yet anyway. It happened one Monday night sometime in the early fall of 1996. I was meeting with Nancy, my Braille tutor, when mom told me she had something to share with me, but I’d have to wait until later. I couldn’t concentrate on anything, with my curiosity of what it could be. Then, I learned about the big news that night before bedtime, when mom would usually read a book or a chapter in a book to me, but on this particular night, she read an article to me, that proclaimed new episodes of Rugrats would be premiering in 1997. Now you should know that for a little while, I didn’t know which episodes were new or reruns, but for sure, by the time mom read me this article, they were all reruns to me at this point, I had watched it so many times. I decided I wouldn’t stop watching it just yet, and would just, ignore my brother when he spouted off about how irritated he was with Rugrats reruns all of the time, etc. etc. I recall how whenever my mom would be attending a Sunday school teacher’s meeting after church, I’d sit up in her room, with several pieces of paper and markers, and I learned how to draw some pretty good pictures of the Rugrats. I have several drawings of Tommy, Chuckie, Phil, Lil, and Angelica somewhere at my parents house, to be kept for all times.I can’t say I was good enough to be a cartoonest, but I had fun drawing them when I could do that, and that makes me very happy. Then, it came for the first new episode in eons to premier, a Chanukah special on Wednesday, December 4, 1996, which was three days before the first day of Chanukah that year. Nickelodeon was airing the Chanukah episode, and recently, our VCR had died around Halloween. But mom wasn’t gonna let me miss this episode. I can’t remember what was going on that night, if we had somewhere to go, or what, but she went as far as to get a replacement VCR the previous Sunday at Wal-Mart, just for the occasion of the premier of this new episode of Rugrats. Or that was one of her main reasons for getting it then rather than waiting any longer, plus I think my family missed having a VCR to watch movies on tape on, and to record stuff off of the TV. Then, at Christmas of 1996, and going onward from there until sometime in early 2003, I got me several pieces of Rugrats murchandise. That first Christmas in 96, I got several articles of Rugrats clothing, which included a pink long sleeve shirt with Tommy, Chuckie, Angelica and Spike on it, a purple pair of Rugrats pants with Rugrats written down one of the legs, a red jumper with the Rugrats on it, a blue sweat shirt with them on it and a pair of purple pants to match, a couple of Rugrats nightgowns that had Tommy, Chuckie, Phil, Lil and Angelica on them, as wwell as a nightgown that had Tommy, Chuckie, Phil, Lil, and Susie on it, and seems there was another white long sleeve shirt with them on it as well. I also got my first Rugrats dolls, which included Tommy, Chuckie, Angelica, and Spike, and I got some Rugrats plastic dishes, which I used at breakfast for a very long time. Then between 1997 and 2003, I got several more pieces of Rugrats things, from Rugrats keychains, to Rugrats action figures, Phil and Lil dolls, which I bought at FAO Swartz in New York City when my family and I went there in March of 1998 to see Phantom of the Opera and eat dinner at The Four Seasons, traveling to and from the big city via an Amtrak train out of Albany, NY. I also had 2 talking Tommy dolls, one of them wore his regular clothing, and he said several phrases he’d say on the show, including his most famous one, “A baby’s gotta do, what a baby’s gotta do.” And I also had one dressed as Okey Dokey Jones in The Rugrats Movie, where Tommy told stories of his adventures in that movie, and sang a couple of the songs from that movie. I also had a set of Rugrats wash rags, hand towel and bath towel, which I use to use in the shower all of the time. I also had a set of Rugrats sheets, a comforter and pillow sham, and even a small blue and green throw pillow with the Rugrats on it, and the Rugrats bedding remained on my bed up until I started college in the fall of 2005. Also, for a long time, I had a Rugrats toothbrush, and I use to use the Oral B toothpaste, that had the Rugrats characters on the outside of the tube, with a blue flip top. I’ve since switched to Crest toothpaste as I got older though, growing out of Oral B. I also had a Rugrats clock on my bedroom wall up until that time as well, and it would say a different phrase from the different Rugrats once every hour. It was so cute! But it doesn’t stop there. Did you know I’ve been able to watch the majority of the Rugrats episodes whenever I wanted, even before Youtube existed? It was Friday, March 14, 1997. I awoke with the most painful soar throat known to man, and it was so bad, I was in tears! I ended up having to stay home from school, and recall wearing a white short sleeve Rugrats shirt that day that one of the ladies my mom worked with at the time, brought back for me from Nickelodeon Studios in Orlando, FL and some gray sweat pants with the Rugrats logo on them. Also by this time, I had gotten another white short sleeve t-shirt that said Rugrats on it in very big letters, it had a really big picture of the logo on it, and a black and white long sleeve shirt with Tommy, Chuckie, and Reptar on it holding hockey polls. Anyway, I was stuck at home, bored, and feeling just miserable. It was so bad, that mom got out a surprise for me that afternoon, my first ever, store bought, Rugrats video cassette! The video was titled, A Baby’s Gotta Do, What A Baby’s Gotta Do, and it featured 4 episodes, which were Monster in the Garage, Touchdown Tommy, Let There be Light, and The Inside Story, with these little shorts in between the episodes called Inside Out Boy, which were just that, about a boy who had his insides on the outside. I loved that video so much, that for several Christmases, birthdays, and Easters after that, as well as Valentine’s Day, or just, at random surprise moments, I collected 25 more Rugrats store bought video cassettes, as well as made several tapes on the VCR, which began when new episodes of the show started airing on a weekly basis on Saturday nights at 8:00 PM in Snick on Nickelodeon. This all began on Saturday, August 23, 1997, and the tradition continued up through sometime in the year 2001, when new episodes moved to Friday nights, and then, at some point between 2001 and 2003, they moved to Saturday mornings. I have over 17 home made cassettes that include the premier of several episodes, including that week of August 15, through August 22, 1998, when a new episode aired for 8 nights in a row at 8:00 PM Eastern. I also taped several marathons, including the Nicktoon Summer Jam Rugrat marathons that aired every Monday afternoon for 3 hours in the summer of 1999 from July 5 through August 30, the marathons were hosted by the stars of Kablahm, Henry and June, a non-stop Nicktoon’s Weekend marathon of episodes including baby Dil on Sunday, November 28, 1999, and the Give me Kimi Marathon that aired on June 2, 2001. In terms of my store bought collection, there are also several memories that come along with it as well, that don’t end with my first video. There were several episodes I saw for the first time on store bought cassette, these included A Rugrats Vacation, Hiccups, Autumn Leaves, Grandpa’s Bad Bug, The Word of the Day, The Turkey who Came to Dinner, Dil we Meet Again, Big Babies, Runaway Reptar, Discover America, A Rugrats Kwanza, Bow Wow Wedding Vows, The Curse of the Werewolf, which it was when I began to watch this video in October of 2002 that the tables turned between me and my dad. I wanted to watch the previews at the beginning, just to see what was coming out, etc. My dad was in the family room, going through magazines, and making lots of noise. I tried to ask him if he could stop for a little while while I watched the video, and he proceeded to just, yell at me and say, “Grow up Celeste.” My relationship with my father has never been the same since then, I think the only thing that has helped in recent years is the birth of my nephew, the fact that I moved out of my parents home, and, well, both of those factors combined has allowed us to be more or less, civil to one another, even if we’re not that close relationship wise, at least we can get along. But I know this much. I cannot live in the same home with my father no more, and I intend to not live with my parents ever again for the rest of my life, unless it’s to stay with them for one night at the holidays, or to go on a vacation with them or something. Otherwise, I’m on my own from here on out. But also, it was the last time I ever watched a Rugrats video downstairs at my parents house again for a very long time. I think I was so mad at that incident, I took the video out of the machine without finishing it, and stormed off to my room in tears. I don’t know if I can ever forgive my father for doing that, but at least he hasn’t done that again in quite a long time, and has just, learned to more or less, accept me as I am in recent years, once I agreed to return to school in the fall of 2011 and continue getting an education towards getting my Bachelor’s Degree. And in terms of my store bought Rugrats videos, I got my final cassette in early 2003, Rugrats Mysteries, which included the special, Murmer on the Ornery Express, and 2 bonus episodes, which are The Fun Way Day and Trading Phil. I also use to have The Rugrats Movie on video cassette when it came out in March of 1999, but then upgraded it to a DVD in either 2001 or 2002, after I finally had a DVD player in my room to go with my TV, VCR, and video game systems. Yes, I’m the proud owner to this day of a 20 inch TV, a DVD VCR combo unit, a Super Nintendo, a Nintendo 64, and a Playstation 2. I also have on DVD as well as The Rugrats Movie, Rugrats in Paris, Rugrats Go Wild, the Decade in Diapers Collection, and the first season of Rugrats, which I got for Christmas in 2013, and seasons 2 through 5, which I got for Christmas in 2014, though we had some problems with season 3, which finally got resolved at the end of January of 2015, then I got season 6 of Rugrats on DVD at Easter of 2015, and finally, in late July of 2015, I couldn't take it anymore, so broke down, and purchased seasons 7, 8, and 9 on DVD, along with the two Tales from the Crib specials, Snow White, and Three Jacks and a Beanstalk, making me as of July 23, 2015, the proud owner of everything Rugrats on DVD! I did go see all 3 Rugrats movies in the theater when they came out, and I have to say out of all 3 of them, The Rugrats Movie and Rugrats in Paris are my favorite, while Rugrats Go Wild was ok, but it’s my least favorite out of the 3 movies. I also have the soundtracks to The Rugrats Movie and Rugrats in Paris on CD, and I’ve also ripped them to my computer as mp3′s and put them on both, my 1 TB and 2 TB external drives, as well as my iPhone and iPad, and the same goes for the Nicktoons CD, that has a bunch of the songs from Rugrats on it, including the opening and closing theme song that existed between seasons 1 and the episode Acorn Nuts and Diapied Butts, as well as a few of the songs from the Reptar on Ice episode, the Reptar Cerial song from Insident in Isle Seven, and the Rugrats Rap and Rugrats Rock songs, that would air in these special music videos that Nickelodeon would run during commercial breaks. The Rugrats and Hey Arnold portions of that Nicktoons CD are also on my iPhone and iPad, as I got into Hey Arnold and The Wild Thornberry’s nicktoons between 1998 and 2003, when they aired in the Nickel-O-Zone, and on Nick on CBS, and I gave up watching Wheel of Fortune at one time or another in 2000 or 2001, and would watch Hey Arnold every weeknight at 7:00 PM, followed by Rugrats at 7:30 PM, as it moved from airing at 6:30 PM to airing at 7:30 PM around the same time mom read me that article about new episodes premiering in 1997. I even remember in that article them talking about how there’d be a Mother’s Day special premiering in May of 1997, which would reveal the truth about Chuckie’s mom, and Chuckie would go off, looking for a new mom. Recall I had a bunch of homework on Tuesday, May 6, 1997, when it premiered, so mom taped it for me, but I finished my homework in time to see the second half of the 22 minute episode, and later on, got the entire episode on a store bought video cassette called Mommy Mania. I also went and saw the Rugrats Live show, "A Rugrats Live Adventure," at the Pepsi Arina in Albany, New York on Friday, March 13, 1998, on opening night at the Pepsi Arina. It was ok, but I like the TV show better, and if that show were to return for a new generation to enjoy, I wouldn’t push to take my nephew or future offspring to see it, unless they begged me to take them, cuz it just, wasn’t as good as the cartoon, and I can’t place my finger on why that is. Is it because the mouths on the characters didn't move? I really don't know, I just know that while it wasn't bad, it wasn't as good as the original TV series, thus, only seeing it once in my lifetime was good enough for me, and I'm not all that disappointed that I never saw "Rugrats Magic Adventure," the Live show that aired exclusively at Universal Studios in Hollywood during its run during the early 2000's. Also, it’s funny I should mention this, but I happen to remember what episode aired on the day of my fifth grade graduation on Tuesday, June 10, 1997. By this time, Rugrats now aired at 8:30 AM on weekday mornings, and because graduation was starting later, I got to watch it. It was the episodes Beauty Contest and Baseball, but what’s interesting is I had to sing the same song at graduation that Angelica sang in the Beauty Contest episode, only Angelica mixed up the words, which I kept doing while practicing, so had to be corrected several times, and, no worries, I sang it just fine at graduation. Also when I got grounded in the summer of 1996, one of the last episodes I saw with my friend Maureen when she slept over on July 9 of that year was Farewell, My Friend. Who knew she’d be saying farewell to me fairly soon after all that went down at that slumber party, and, I’ll admit, I haven’t spoken to her ever since I’ll also never forget one time, I felt queezy in my stomach one evening, afraid I was coming down with the stomach bug my brother had at the time. I went downstairs and put on one of my Rugrats videos, and I instantly, felt better. Don’t know how that happened, but it did. It’s weird how all of these crazy memories are returning, but they are! Also back in the day, I enjoyed several Rugrats video games. One of the first ones I got was a hand-held game, which I sadly, didn’t like very much. I got it as a stocking stuffer one Christmas, but hey, you’re not gonna like everything. Then in the summer of 1999, I got my first Rugrats video game for the Playstation, Rugrats, Search for Reptar, a video game where you went through Tommy’s house, playing out different Rugrats episodes and having to go in search of the missing pieces to his Reptar puzzle. It’s by far my favorite Rugrats video game I had, and I’ve beaten it probably at least 5, if not 10 times. I also got that summer, the Rugrats Scavender Hunt video game for Nintendo 64. It was ok, but I didn’t like it as much as Rugrats, Search for Reptar, so barely ever played the game. Then for my birthday in December of 1999, I got my second Rugrats video game for the Playstation, Rugrats Studio Tour, which I also enjoyed, though it took me until April of 2003 to actually complete the game, as I recall beating it around the time I was having some issues with my mom’s student Keenan, a story I won’t get into here, but it did result in my quitting the videos I made of my pretend Keenan, finishing up the notebook story I wrote about our adventures, and in November of 2003, I packed up all of my toys that I still had in my bedroom at this time, and put them all away in the basement playroom into storage. And then, for my birthday in the year 2000, I got the Rugrats in Paris video game for Playstation, and while I enjoyed playing it, I sadly, never completed it, but more or less, enjoyed the activities section, and my mom and I would sometimes play those games in 2 player mode. She enjoyed mini golf while I enjoyed Lic M, Stick Em. I’d give anything to have the vision back I had prior to May of 2010, so I could play those video games again, as well as several others I’ve enjoyed in my time, but sadly, that may have to be a thing of the past for me. I still have all of my video games, CD’s, and video cassettes and DVD’s here at my apartment, and as for the other Rugrats stuff, all of the toys etc. are stored away in storage in my parents basement, and I made sure when we had the tag sale in the summer of 2013, none of my Rugrats stuff got sold, as I hope to share it with my nephew someday, or if I’m ever lucky to have offspring of my own, to pass it down to them, and if nothing else, I’ll keep the stuff for sentamental purposes. That also goes for the books, commic collection, and my Ultimate Fan Book that I read from cover to cover the day mom got it for me back in the summer of 1999. Rugrats, The Ultimate Fan Book was really cool, because it told of the making of Rugrats, and had an episode guide at the end, that listed all episodes that aired in order up until the release of The Rugrats Movie. And let's not forget the yummy food I use to eat that was Rugrats related. Mom would make me Rugrats macaroni and cheese, and yes, it was indeed, macaroni and cheese posta that was shaped to look like the Rugrats, and I even remember liking the Rugrats fruit snacks. Each Rugrat was a different flavor! So now that we’ve covered all of the murchandise portion of this entry, what changed in the early 2000′s that caused me to lose my interest in the Rugrats to a degree? Well bottom line, I was older! Also, upon getting Disney Channel for the summer of 1998, and again in the summer of 1999, and keeping it indefinitely, as it finally moved to being a regular cable channel in the summer of 2001, I found I liked more shows on Disney Channel for the older crowd, and or, in terms of shows on Nickelodeon, I was into more of the live action shows designed for teenagers. I also had several issues with my VCR between 2001 and 2005, when I finally got the combo unit that I have now, making it difficult for me to keep making tapes of the show, plus, I’ll admit, once new episodes weren’t on Saturday nights at 8:00 PM Eastern anymore, I found it much harder to keep up with the show as easily. So I taped what I could, and anything I didn’t get, I now have on DVD, possibly handing the cassettes down to my nephew, donating them to the public library or to the Salvation Army, or if I must, I’ll throw them in the trash. Though I think the only way I'd ever throw the tapes away in the trash, is if they should ever break, which isn't the case as of yet, and hope it won't be for quite a while, or forever, as I cannot ever bring myself to throw anything Rugrats related in the trash. You'd have to pour a pint of alcohol down my throat and erase my memory entirely before I ever dared to throw any of my Rugrats stuff into the trash, and I kid you not, that is by far, how it is. As for All Grown Up, which made its premier in the spring of 2003, and that’s not including the special All Growed Up Rugrats episode that aired on July 21, 2001, which I happen to like very much, and do have the store bought video All Growed Up, I guess I’d have to say that during the 5 season run of All Grown Up, from April 12, 2003 through August 17, 2008, life took a lot of turns for me, from getting my first boyfriend, who wasn’t wild about the show, to being busy with completing high school and attending community college, to being interested in other stuff, like shows on Disney Channel, and listening to Internet radio, not to mention, getting my start in Internet broadcasting in the summer of 2008, the show All Grown Up was just, not at the top of my list. I’ve seen a few episodes here and there, which includes watching it from time to time today on Youtube, as a few episodes from the final season of the series are up there, and I do have a few episodes on video, but I didn’t get into All Grown Up as extensively as I did with Rugrats, even though I did think it was fascinating to see what they were like when they were older, and always imagined it when I was young. But I have to tell you something. And yes, it’s a deep dark secret I’m revealing here. Maybe I’m crazy to believe this, but sometimes I wonder if I hadn’t been so obsessed with Rugrats way back in the mid 90′s, would the show have returned in 1996, 1997, and become as big as it did? I like to think sometimes that it was thanks to me that Rugrats made a comeback, and went from the 65 episodes over a 3 season period, to having nearly 180 episodes, 9 seasons, 3 movies, a ton of murchandise, and a spin off show that spanned over 50 episodes over a 5 season period. After all, I told everybody about Rugrats, who then went and watched the show, told their friends, who told their friends, and, well, it’s a trend! I know in reality it was all a coensidence, but I just love imagining that I was the reason for it becoming so big, making me look back and seeing my obsession with the show being a good thing after all. And around the time I lost interest in it for a while, is when the show started to decline, taking several hiatuses on production during the All Grown Up run, finally quitting for good in August of 2008. And I’ll admit, because I wasn’t watching Nickelodeon regularly anymore, I couldn’t seem to as easily, keep up with the schedule for when All Grown Up was on the air, which didn’t help me to keep up with the show. To this day, thanks to getting Amazon Prime, that is, until my free unlimited streaming expired on June 5, 2015, and breaking down and purchasing the 3 seasons that Amazon Prime didn't offer for free to Prime members originally, I have finally caught up with the episodes of All Grown Up that I missed between 2003 and 2008, when they premiered. Then, on August 11 of 2015, I broke down and purchased the bulk of the TV shows that had expired as of 6/5/15, and may see to purchasing the rest of them later on this year that I couldn't afford back in August to put back on to my Amazon watch list, time will tell. I'm also thankful to have learned from Fan Fiction user LilNate03 about a website where I can watch several cartoons for free, which include the entire series of All Grown Up, Doug, Hey Arnold, Rugrats, and The Wild Thornberry's called . Not only do they have all of the episodes of the TV shows up there, but any full length movies and direct to video or DVD releases, like the two Tales from the Crib Rugrats specials, are also available on that website to watch as well! But for quite a while there, watching Rugrats was a rarety for me, that is, until roughly December of 2013. As I mentioned earlier, I got the first season of Rugrats on DVD for Christmas in 2013, and on the afternoon of Christmas, I sat there for several hours, holding my new 2 months old nephew in my arms, and while he slept and drank brest milk in my lap out of a bottle, we watched the first season of Rugrats, and it peaked my interest once again. But you should also know, that outside of my family’s house, in my personal life at my home, I was going through a rough patch at this time. It began on the weekend of my sister-in-law’s baby shower on September 29, 2013. I discovered some people were talking trash about me behind my back on Twitter, and I had recently had a quarrel with a guy who’s name will not be mentioned, that resulted in a terrible fight between us. The drama got so outragious, that I just, couldn’t take it anymore, and at sometime in early October of 2013, I just, snapped, threatening some horrible things on people. The guy I threatened claimed he’d get my Twitter account suspended, but I was hoping he was just, all talk, and no actual doing. Boy was I wrong. Two days after my 29th. Birthday on December 16, 2013, I had been out the majority of that day, attending jury duty, a dentist appointment, and a band concert at my mom’s work. I didn’t even know that my Twitter account got suspended that afternoon until I was rudely awakened to this the following morning, when I went to post a tweet, and couldn’t, but I could still post to the Twitter account associated with my Internet radio station I had at the time. So I went and looked into this issue, only to discover my Twitter account was suspended, and this left me royally upset. I went out in outrage over this on audioboo, and upset many people, including several who I had become very close friends with in recent years. And this only made things worse. Between December 17, 2013, and my final broadcast on the Internet radio station of Celrock Radio, which I handed over to a new manager post that final broadcast on March 22, 2014, I lost several friends, my listenership declined tramendously, and the friends I was spending practically every spare moment of time with in the mornings and evenings throughout the second half of 2012 and almost all of 2013 no longer wished to spend a lot of time with me anymore. I felt hurt, crushed, and devistated to be losing friends and ending up, all alone. And in terms of school, I had a lot of work and pressing assignment dates to get work completed by in my classes, I felt like there was no time to breethe, and the weather outside for most of the winter was just, horrible! This weather consisted of really cold temperatures in the negative single digits, with icy conditions. I also managed to ruin my old iPhone 4S on the first day of school for the spring semester, when I fell and my phone got submerged in water when my purse fell in a puddle. And even worse, people on Twitter claimed I threw the phone and broke it on purpose again, or brought up that incident from 2012 when I got frustrated with learning my new iPhone, lashing out in anger as a result. I had trouble sleeping for a while, hardly ate anything for 2 days near the end of January of 2014, and it seems as if I cried very easily for a while. And when I’d confront people about all of this on Twitter, I felt as if none of my friends wanted to help me. All people would say is that I was bipolar, which I don't believe to be true by any means, and that I needed drugs, and all of this other crud that I knew was not the answer. But while all of this drama was going on, which dampened my holidays, caused me to have to create a temporary Twitter account under a different username, while I worked out getting my original account unsuspended, which finally got fixed in late January of 2014, and I’ve managed to not be harmful on Twitter ever since, or at least in a way that deserves suspension, there were 2 things in this world that still brought a smile to my face. Spending time with my nephew, and watching Rugrats on video and DVD, or during The 90's are All That block on Teen Nick in the middle of the night when I couldn’t sleep. During the remainder of my winter vacation in between semesters, after watching all of season 1 on DVD with my nephew on Christmas Day, finishing it up the following day before I came home, as I stayed over on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, I didn’t feel I was welcome on the Internet in a social sense. So I spent much of my spare time on vacation, curled up on my futon, pulling out all of my old Rugrats video cassettes, in particular, the home made ones at this point in time, rewatching the episodes. Being able to go back and watch something I loved from my childhood, brought a smile to my face, and that’s when I began the tradition of bringing a store bought Rugrats video or season on DVD to watch with my nephew each time I came to visit between the start of the 2014 year, and still do to this very day, and will continue to do, until my nephew no longer wishes to watch Rugrats anymore.. But another thing started happening too. During this time of tension, which lasted up until school got out in May of 2014, as I also got sick a few times post resigning from Celrock Radio, I spent the last full week of March of 2014, sick in bed with a terrible cold and soar throat, and had 2 stomach bugs in April of 2014, but between the end of December of 2013, and the beginning of June of 2014, I continued to have one heck of a nightmare! I would dream that my favorite Rugrat, Tommy Pickles was dying of a horrible disease during infanthood, not even making it to see his second birthday. The dreams occured daily, and it was a mystery as to why they were going on. It’s only been since sometime near the end of July of 2014 that I’ve figured it out, now that I no longer have the nightmares, after writing my first Rugrats fan fic and posting it on Fan Fiction for the world to see. My 10 chapter story entitled, Rugrats and the Gray Plague, which was based off of many of the events that occured during that dramatic and stressful 6 month period between December of 2013 and June of 2014. I went through social problems with friends, seeing friends of mine turning the other cheak and going off to hang out with other former friends of mine at the time, and getting sick 3 times within a 30 day period. No none of my sicknesses caused me to come anywhere near close to death, but since I was having such nightmares of Tommy dying, I knew I had to come up with the reason for why this was happening, and get the story written up and published somewhere fast, before the nightmares haunted me to the extreme, that I could never sleep again. And in the story, you also see issues go on between friends, in particular, Tommy and Chuckie. But this also gave me a chance to introduce a new character to the Rugrats. At one time, I would have had myself be the rugrat as a young child, but seeing that it’s been sharing my Rugrats videos and DVD's with my nephew that has allowed me to become interested in them again, it’s only natural and right, to include him as a new baby for the gang to play with, and go through childhood with. I’ve made my original character of Zack, a lot like Tommy, giving him brains like my brother, being very intellegent. I also thought having me be his aunt, but in the stories, his main care provider would also put things into perspectives in two ways. First, to be raised by a single aunt, not a mom and dad, and, to be raised by and live with a person with disabilities. It would allow for some new experiences to happen with the gang that never happened on Rugrats or the spin off series, All Grown Up. Anyway, sorry for that paragraph being a bit longwinded there, but anyway, once I found my creative side again that I lost to the whole Internet radio ordeal and going away to U Mass, moving out on my own, and feeling forced to go back to school, when I started at MCLA in the fall of 2011, after dad yelling at me and ruining my trip to my sister-in-law’s family reunion at Fourth of July in 2011, I knew something needed to change, and I now know why Tommy was dying in my dreams. Tommy Pickles symbolized my childhood, and I’m not just talking about my physical childhood and childhood loves, but the young and young at heart, positive spirited person I use to be. Upon venturing into the dramatic world of Internet radio, I was losing that innocents and heading over to the dark side, feeling angry, frustrated, and stressed out much of the time, no longer being myself anymore. Maybe I’m a loon to believe that ficticious characters have spirits that can talk to us, but in this case, I must make an exception. Tommy’s death reoccuring in my dreams every night was indeed, Tommy trying to tell me something and send me a message. His message to me was the following. “Ditch the drama and find something that will make you truly happy. If you don’t, you will lose me forever.” In other words, Tommy was representing my good qualities and traits, which I was on the verge of losing had I continued to manage Celrock Radio. So I quit that, embarked on my newest and latest hobby of Fan Fiction, where I flex my creative muscles with all of the Rugrats fan fic stories I’ve written, and the many more that are stored up in my head, just waiting to be typed out and published on Fan Fiction’s website, and as a result, I’ve had more or less, positive feedback on all of my stories, made quite a few lovely friends through the Fan Fiction website, and while I may not show my face as much on Twitter anymore, the majority of my interractions on any of the other social networks out there have been more or less, positive ones since I quit Internet broadcasting and got into reading and writing Rugrats fan fiction. I’ll admit, back in 2008 when I started Internet radio broadcasting and Celrock Radio, I was very upset that a teaching career in elementary education wasn’t going to work out for me, forcing me to have to change my career path had me pretty upset, and I did jump into Internet radio a bit hastily, wanting to embark on a new hobby that I had seen my friends at the time having loads of fun with, not realizing all of the puzzle pieces that come with broadcasting on and managing a station, and I think as a result of my hastiness in getting involved in Internet radio so quickly, I started out on the wrong foot to begin with, which only led me to declining down the hill as time moved on. Whereas when I got into Fan Fiction, I had already been planning out my first story over that 6 months period, as whenever I couldn’t sleep, I’d daydream the story in my head, trying to figure out what was killing Tommy, and what could happen. I’ve made sure on every story I’ve written, to put the disclaimers that neded to be posted there, that I don’t own the original characters from the cartoon, movie, etc. I’m writing about, they’re the property of their original creaters, and put any editional notes in there about characters I’ve come up with, etc. and then, write my story. In my haste to get into Internet radio, I went off of the ideas that came before me, but never gave credit where it was needed, but instead, it’s almost as if I passed off everything I did in the world of Internet radio as my own, even though the truth of the matter was, I followed in the footsteps of others. Had I put in some way the same disclaimer I’ve been putting near the top of my fan fic stories, might I have had a better time Internet radio wise? I really don’t know. But I do know this. I can write and read fan fiction for free, and I don’t feel I have to have other authors coolaborate with me on the stories. I’m happy doing it by myself, and I feel I’ve found my true nitch as far as a hobby is concerned. So as you can see, the Rugrats have played an assential role in my life. They’ve been a source of comfort when faced by troubled times, and thanks to my strong love for them, and the power for them to take over my imagination, they’ve allowed me to come out of the dark tunnel, and put my energy into something positive. And thanks to my nephew, that too has helped inspire my creative side, making my fan fic stories more interesting, including him as a character. Maybe I can’t work with children in a classroom, but I can certainly write about them, and be a pretend teacher as I write stories that teach valuable lessons about life, etc. And as far as I’m concerned, in terms of the whole radio thing, I will only for sure make it a definite that any involvement with radio in the future is thought out carefully. I love terrestrial radio, and I had a lot of fun doing it at college during the practicums during the fall of 2013 and spring of 2014 semesters, thus, I have no doubt that I can make radio a career, and I intend to complete my courses at MCLA come the spring or fall of 2016, and when I’m finished school, I’ll go work for a terrestrial station, making money, opposed to the opposite effect I was getting in the land of Internet radio, which was losing money, and if I should venture into Internet radio land again, I should think really carefully about what I am capable of doing without geting too overly stressed, and, I will never, ever, allow the hobby of Internet radio, to empty my wallet, ever again. If I can’t embark on the hobby of Internet radio broadcasting for free, then I’m not doing it, at all. And just think, if my nephew continues to enjoy Rugrats as he gets older, and I eventually share the fan fic stories with him I’ve been writing, he’ll get an opportunity that most other fans have to write down themselves to get. He’ll already be a part of the Rugrats, by the time he discovers my stories, making his experience with Rugrats, an even more special one. As for my experience? It’s touched my heart and life in more ways than I ever thought possible, and while I never had the opportunity to have a Rugrats Birthday party growing up, or dress up as one of the Rugrats characters for Halloween, I’d just like to say this much. In closing, I must give a big thanks to Klasky Csupo and Nickelodeon, for bringing these adorable babies into my life. It's also quite funny in a way, just how much I and Klasky Csupo in a way, are alike. The series Rugrats, was very much based off their experiences raising children, in particular, their youngest child Brandon, while in terms of me writing Fan Fiction for the Rugrats/All Grown Up fandom, much of my stories are based off of the experiences I've had as an aunt, and the time I've spent with my nephew Zack. Without whom, who knows where I’d be right now. May the spirit of the rugrats continue to follow me throughout the remainder of my adulthood and life, through means of fan fiction, rewatching the series whenever I feel like it, and enjoying it as something special to do, with one of my most favorite family members in the whole wide world, my nephew, Zachary. Thanks to this, I’ve had probably one of the best summers I’ve had in a very long time, as far as the summer of 2014 is concerned, as I focused on bringing back a childhood love to life through means of Fan Fiction, allowing the tranquility and relaxation of being creative and enjoying the true innocents of my childhood, for generations to come. Not only that, but writing Fan Fiction has been a great way for me to relieve stress and tension I'm under, allowing me to relax after a long, frustrating day, ending my days on a positive note, when I put my energy and mind to using my imagination, and producing new stories involving the characters that were totally number one to me during childhood, and to me, will be that piece of my childhood that I'll never let go of. In my opinion, the Rugrats to me, are like that teddy bear you sleep with from the time you're a baby, up until the day you die, no matter how old you are. I’m the happiest I’ve been in a long time, I’d say even a lot happier now than I ever was when venturing into the world of Internet radio, and nobody, is going to stop me, or take it away from me, as I continue to release several more Rugrats and All Grown Up stories on Fan Fiction, from now, until the day I die. OC's If you wish to use any of my OC's, please just ask. If you want to use any of these characters, or need more information on them, please send me a private message (PM) and ask, as I feel better knowing personally who is planning to use my OC's in their stories. I also ask that if you do use any of my OC's, please give me credit for coming up with the characters, thank you. Also, before you go flaming me about how I improperly introduce my characters in particular stories, please know that I release my stories in no particular order, but each story does have its place in the timeline, I suggest you go read all of my stories, as chances are the first time I use an OC will be introduced to high standards in the first story they appear in, provided they're a central enough character where a well-detailed introduction is necessary. So please make note of this before going and being rude about how I portray characters in my stories, and only approach me for further information about original characters, if you're looking into using them in your own stories, thank you. When do I plan to retire from Fan Fiction? When I die, putting all stories in progress at a grounding halt with no notice, because obviously, if I've died, there's no way for me to finish them. Hopefully though, that won't be the case. The Copy and Paste Section The following are for all of you Rugrat fans out there.
