This chapter is fine, but chapter 3 and beyond get way too purple.

I absolutely loved this! It’s different than many of the sibling bonding fics I usually see. I wasn’t expecting there to be No Such Luck references either, and this is definitely a better take on it than most fics I see.
This is the Lynn and Lincoln I wanna see more often. Lynn can be reckless, and daring, but she still loves her brother. So many people portray her as heartless, and mean. She’s not like that at all.
Lincoln is very much in character too. We’ve seen many times in the show that he always loves his sisters no matter what. His optimism scares me sometimes, as he seems to forgive his sisters even when they’ve done bad things to him.
No more of that “Lynn is evil, she does bad things to Lincoln, he gets revenge on her” kind of stories. I want to see more like this one.

Loved the story! It really surprised me with the emotional twists, and made realistic reactions of the characters that weren't out of character. Amazing!

Dude, your experiment paid off. My main criticism of your much older stories has always been that the prose and writing style got rather repetitive as the stories went on, so while the quality of the stories and characterization was always excellent, actually reading them became tiring after a few chapters. This has been an issue you've been getting much better at lately and in this story, I didn't feel an ounce of repetition at all.

This was a great story overall. Happy Lucy is the cutest thing, and Lola so concerned over Lincoln's safety was also cute. The interactions between Lincoln and Lynn in Chapter 1 were great and felt in-character. Lynn's sulking felt like a natural progression and not at all forced, and the conclusion felt very in-character for both Lincoln and Lynn.

My only real issue with the story was the ending felt to quick and a bit rushed. I would've liked just a bit more to it. Otherwise, great stuff.

In all honesty I think that you did a great job with this story. Please, by all means, keep doing what you did here with other stories. I look forward to what you may write in the future.

D'aww, that was a cute fic you made there. We don't see enough Lynn and Lincoln love these days, I tell you what. Well, sibling love anyway...

Once again a great and well-written story. I think you really have a talent to convey the characters' emotions and giving them character development, while keeping them in-character. It always leads to nice interactions between them.

Even though she's not my favorite, I loved Lynn's portrayal in this story. And I liked the way you handled the whole "No Such Luck" incident. While I do enjoy some of the "darker" interpretations of the outcome, your more positive portrayal was just as good and very refreshing.

On a side note, maybe you should try more often to write suspenseful scenes. You're good at it. The part where Lincoln is choking and Lynn has to find a way to save him before is intense.

Also, gotta love all the details you add. For instance, showing how much Lola cares about Lincoln, while still keeping her domineering personality; or the funny anecdote surrounding Leni and her "tip". Or the funny allusion to the Termina... I mean "Eliminator" series.

Now that was a solid and well-thought out ending! Something I admire about your fanfics is how you don't play favorites with the sisters, you gave them appearances and references without it seeming like you prefer one over the other. I admired how Lola was worrying too much about Lincoln, a lot of people fail to realize she worries more about him than they think and it was in-character.
(still waiting on someone to write a fanfic where she and Lincoln relate on the whole lack of attention problem).
The gag with Leni giving fashion tips to a waitress was a clever use of how she takes things that are said to literal.

The way you characterized Lynn was a breath of fresh air compared to most fanfics nowadays. When not in comparaison it was pretty accurate to the show. Lynn's basically a sporty tomboy that enjoys having fun a lot, with some competition here and then and is protective of those close to her, mainly Lincoln. She only roughhouses with him in a playful way and looks out for him because she loves him.
(Still fail to see when the show says otherwise)

Lincoln wasn't a saint, which is annoeying in other fanfics like this and I'm honestly not irrated by stories that follow the whole "Lincoln ends up in the hospital" troupe. While I would love to see a fanfic tackle one of the other cliche fanfics with it replacing Lincoln with one of his sisters, in the end a cliche is okay if it's excuted differently. Lincoln, I enjoyed how he didn't hold anything against Lynn and was grateful for saving his life. The last scene where he comforted Lynn for her guilt felt like a scene from the show and really showed how wise and caring Lincoln really is.

In the end this was a really nicely written fanfic that many people who hate Lynn should have a read through. The emotions, you nailed especially Lynn's guilt and shows you know how to write the characters. Great story as always!:)

(On a sidenote, I don't hate Lynn I just think the biggest problem the writers do with her is give her too little screen time. "Space Invader" was basically the only episode where she's a main focus and every other time she's either playfully roughhousing with Lincoln or doing her own sports related thing. Still don't see why fans overemphasize her rough side, which is funny because she didn't even touch Lincoln in "No Such Luck" or "The Loudest yard". I personally think her relation to Lincoln is a lot better than fans give credit for, we just need more screen time dedicated to it.)

Great ending! I'm glad to see that this whole experience has been a wakeup call for Lynn, in trying to be a better sister to Lincoln in the future. And yes, I agree, having some basic CPR training under your belt isn't a bad idea, as you never know when it could come in handy and save somebody's life, whether it be a stranger on the street, or a close friend or love one in the family.

I loved this story and I hope to see more from you in the future. And oh yeah, keep up the great writing!
