It's been a long time, but I'm happy to say "Fake Hook-Up Turned To Love?" will finally be reaching its conclusion! Let's see where we can wrap up a few loose ends, and what the next story will be! Anyway, enjoy!

It was close to evening as Penny, Sticky and Dijonay were standing out in front of one of Wizard Kelly's many restaurants as they looked around in confusion. Sticky paused as he scratched his head, "So... we're back then? Was... was any of what we experienced real?"

Penny felt her neck as she looked at the cross. "I... I think so. I mean, I know I felt the powers of the Hero returning within me when I tried that Proud Snack again..."

Sticky paused as he gave a grin, looking at the cross hung around his neck. "I guess we'll never truly know. But..."

Before anything else, Penny heard her phone ringing. Penny picked it up and held it to her ear. "Hello?"

"Penny, where are you? You left the hospital before we can talk about what happened to your father." Trudy's voice said over the phone.

"Oh, sorry, Mama, I've been... worried. Coping a little bit." Penny looked down. "Afraid to hear the news."

"Well, you don't need to worry about that, Penny." Trudy said happily. "Turns out it was only a slight case of food poisoning. Daddy's going to be just fine?"

"Really?" Penny asked in fake surprise, before giving a sigh of relief. "Oh, thank goodness. I don't know if the family could survive without him."

"He is the glue that holds the family together, no doubt." Trudy laughed a little. "Anyway, come straight home. We're going to be having a big celebration!"

"Okay, I'll be right over!" Penny smiled as she hung up the phone as she turned to Sticky. "Well, daddy's okay!"

"That's great to hear, Pen!" Sticky grinned as he grabbed Penny by the waist and twirled her around as she giggled in delight.

Dijonay, just watching the couple playing around gleefully, just looked down in disappointment as she turned back. As Sticky put Penny down, the two of them looked over... and gave some frowns upon seeing Dijonay. Sticky then paused as he realized something, "Uh, Dijonay, I-"

"Hold on, Sticky. Before you tell me to go away and leave you alone once and for all, I just want to say something, okay?" Dijonay said as she turned to Penny and Sticky. "I overheard the entire conversation with Mr. Proud, and... well, your speech really got me thinking about... about our new current relationship."

Penny and Sticky raised eyebrows as Dijonay growled, "I DESPISE the fact that you two are together now, and I probably will for the rest of my life! But at the end, I have a strange feeling that... maybe you two... were the right match for each other all along. And I was just being selfish and getting in the way of that. I mean, you were probably really in love with Penny this whole time, Sticky, and you wanted to tell me such, but I refused to listen."

She looked down as she turned to Penny. "And Penny... I won't lie, I've been a bad friend. A terrible friend. Me saving you from that whack demon girl... I know it won't be enough to bring forgiveness in your heart, but I just want you to know, I still care for you, Penny, and I'm sorry for ditching you in critical moments."

"Come on, Dijonay, you weren't that bad. I mean, you ate a Proud Snack and risked your life to save me. That's more than enough to realize you're still a good friend, the friend I knew." Penny said with a reassuring smile.

"But I want you to be HAPPY, Penny, and... I haven't been giving that to you." Dijonay said as she turned to Sticky. "Sticky, you take good care of my best friend, okay? And... I'm sorry if I've chased you for so long, even after you told me no."

Sticky looked surprised as he looked at the blonde haired girl. "I don't know what to say, Dijonay."

"I do." Dijonay sighed. "I followed you in jealousy and... even now, I still have these urges to strangle you!"

Penny and Sticky stepped back a little as the girl growled, curling her hands into fists... before sighing. "But I just can't do it. I don't ever want to hurt nobody. And I need to learn that, to understand it... I'm going to need a little more time to adjust to this, even if it means I have to... be away from you two for a while."

"Dijonay, you don't have to-" Penny started before Dijonay raised her hand to stop.

"I insist, Penny Proud. Maybe someday, I'll try for another chance to be your friend again, and... if possible, Sticky... I want to be your friend too. Not in a kissy-kissy manner, but a real friend." Dijonay said.

Sticky and Penny looked at each other in surprise as Dijonay started to walk off. Penny paused as she said, "Where are you going?"

"I'm going to go home for a while, hang out with the fam, try to get comforted by my brothers and sisters..." Dijonay sighed. "And I'm going to take Sticky's advice and just, trust that you'll both be a good couple. I'll see you guys tomorrow... if I can."

Penny and Sticky just watched as they noted a depressed Dijonay walking home as they looked at each other. Penny sighed as she looked over at Dijonay, "Do you think she's going to be okay?"

"Dijonay?" Sticky said as he looked over. "I do feel bad that she had to go through this, but she's a grown girl. I'm sure she'll be back to normal and try to find another boy to like. Maybe someone who doesn't mind her advances as much."

Penny paused as she smiled, "Yeah, you're right. Dijonay's going to be okay. I know it."

The two smiled as they held hands. Sticky then said, "You want me to walk you home?"

"That'll be lovely..." Penny smiled as the two started to go off together.

"UGH!" Solara groaned as she was back in her own dimension, throwing the empty tray to the wall. "I can't believe I didn't bother checking! And I wonder if-"

Solara then tried to wave her hands, but no portal appeared as Solara was now in a grumpy mood. "I am NOT surprised whatsoever that Marcie blocked this world out of my travel list... oh well..."

With a shrug, Solara went back in her chair as she tried to look around every monitors. "I guess it does leave me enough time to travel to a new world... where to next, I wonder?"

After that odd segueway, Penny and Sticky had arrived in front of the Proud home as Sticky gave a smile, "Here we are, Penny, your home sweet home."

"Yeah, for a few years." Penny laughed as she walked over. "You want to come in with me, Sticky?"

"What? Are you sure? I mean, we still have your father to worry about and-" Sticky gulped nervously.

Penny could only give a laugh as she knocked on the door. "Don't worry, the family still thinks you're just one of my friends. And someday, they'll understand our true relationship."

Sticky paused as he thought about it, before giving a grin. "Yeah, you're probably right."

As Sticky joined Penny at the door, it opened as Oscar Proud peeked out. Oscar gave a small smile as he opened the door fully and engulfed Penny in a hug. "Oh, Penny, my sweet baby girl. Just in time for the celebration, I see!"

"Hi, Daddy!" Penny smiled as Oscar noted the nervous boy by the door.

"Oh hi, Sticky!" Oscar said with a smile. "Escorting Penny home, I see."

"Er, yes, Mr. Proud." Sticky said nervously as he looked up.

Oscar gave a small smile to himself as he said, "Say... why don't you come in?"

"M-me? Why?" Sticky asked in confusion as Oscar paused.

"Er… call it a hunch." Oscar said as he let Sticky inside the house. "Hey Trudy, Suga Mama, Penny's friend Sticky is staying for the celebration!"

"Really?" Trudy asked as she peeked out of the kitchen. "I'll go get an extra plate then!"

"Hey, as long as I'm not dining with the Golden Girls, I'm down for it!" Suga Mama called with a smirk.

Oscar could only shake his head as he turned to Sticky, who looked nervous. "Say, Sticky, may I speak to you in private for a minute?"

Sticky looked shocked, before giving a nod. "Uh, sure, Mr. Proud."

Oscar grinned as Penny, getting the hint, started to head upstairs, with Oscar Proud and Sticky Webb standing alone in the room. Sticky looked up as he paused. "So, Mr. Proud, what did you want to speak to me about?"

"Well, I just want to ask you something big, something important." Oscar paused. "It's about Penny."

"Oh boy." Sticky said, almost cursing under his breath.

"I'm just wondering... are you dating my baby girl, or have you ever considered dating her?" Oscar simply said, crossing his arms.

Sticky yelped as he looked over at Oscar's stern face. But then, much to the boy's surprise, Oscar softened up a bit as he said, "Because if you are, well... you're probably one of the only boys I'm... actually okay dating my baby girl."

"WHAT?!" Trudy and Suga Mama's voices were heard offscreen, as if in shock.

"Breaking news!" Suga Mama said as she peeked out. "My son actually approves of a boy that Penny likes!"

"Mama, get out of here, this does NOT involve you!" Oscar said in anger before Suga Mama winked and backed out. He shook his head as he turned to Sticky, "Just tell me honestly."

Sticky paused as he looked up to Oscar, trying to think of the right words to say... and what those words were, well, I'm sure that'll be quite an interesting topic for another day...

Although whether things were real or not, Sticky knew one thing. His relationship with Penny has improved quite a bit, and he hopes it would continue more as the days go by.

Meanwhile, over at Dijonay's house, the girl gave a sigh as she looked out into the evening sky. She knew it would take a few days, but after thinking about it, she was going to try... try to let go of her obsession for Sticky, try to be a better friend for Penny... and be supportive of their relationship. She took a deep breath as she turned to the door of her home, wanting to relax. She opened the door carefully as she stepped inside.

"I'm home!" Dijonay called out, but to her surprise, nobody had answered. Dijonay paused as she looked confused. "Hello? Mom? Dad? Tabasco? Caramel? Cinnamon? Nutmeg? Paprika? Basil? Cayenne?" She looked a little nervous as she shut the door. "O-Oran?"

Nobody answered, much to Dijonay's concern. Slowly, but surely, she reached for a light switch... and when the lights came on, one person stood in front of her, freaking her out. This mysterious figure was wearing a huge black trenchcoat and a gas mask as they just stood there, menacingly.

"Who are-" Dijonay started to ask, before noticing that the house was filled with some sort of unnatural gas. Her eyes started to go as her body went limp, unconscious but alive.

The mysterious figure in the gas mask nodded as he took the girl and got her outside as he put her inside the back of a van, with seven other unconscious characters, each of them coming from different worlds...

A green skinned girl with a heavy look to her with purple hair and wearing a pink dress.

A large Hawaiian man in Hawaiian clothes and a cook's uniform.

A green-haired alien with elf ears, wearing a black uniform with brown vest, black baggy shorts, red wrappings around his wrists, a brown loincloth and brown boots.

An orange haired teenage girl with a white jacket, black shirt combo, and a pink skirt.

An older man wearing a green hat and green cloak with a purple suit and purple mask and glasses.

A little black haired kid with opaque glasses and red clothing.

A small white feathered duck in a mage's costume.

And a blonde haired African-American teenager in a blue jacket, purple shirt and blue skirt.

Eight down, only four more people left... and they came from the same world... in different eras...

Orange Ratchet Story

"That's All, Folks!"

An Orange-Ratchet Fanfiction

And that is it, this story is done! How did you guys like it? Let's get to the final thoughts!

All right, well, even though this story was a long time coming to finish, it was quite a chore to get through. I had this whole Marcie/Solara plot planned from the beginning of the story, way back when I was experimenting with other ideas, the Penny and Sticky story was still going to be a thing. However, Dijonay's turn around and road to redemption wasn't in the original draft. In fact, it was added on when I was looking it over for the 'Complete One Incomplete Story A Month" project, and I will say, I still don't like Dijonay, and I understand a lot of you don't either, but I wanted to try at least a new take where she needs the redemption more than ever.

As for the continuation of Dijonay's redemption... that'll come in time. But as for the first Penny/Sticky story I've done, I'm glad I was able to do this! Maybe this wasn't the best example of a long Penny/Sticky story, and I'll actually do a proper Penny/Sticky when the time comes, but for what it's worth, I'm glad I was able to finish this up!

But now that that's done, it's time for the focus to be on the next and final story of the 'Complete One Incomplete Story A Month' project, and that is going to be 'Playing Cupid' from the Hey Arnold! section! I have a feeling this is going to be a good short story to end things on! So, be sure to check it out when you have the chance!

Anyway, thank you all for reading, and have a very wonderful day!
