And, nice references to the Doug's A Big Fat Liar episode from season 2 of the Nickelodeon version, and the weight loss camp, mentioned in the Disney version of the series. Shocked Connie will go to a weight loss camp, but glad regardless Doug will love her no matter how she looks. Nice you mentioned the hoe down and reminds me of the other fanfiction based on it. I loved how Doug stood up to Roger and put him in his proper place when he embarrassed him and Connie with that banner and picture of them kissing, and in the end, after talking things out with Connie, I like that they’re going to give the whole boyfriend girlfriend relationship thing a try, and that Doug has asked Connie to go to the dance with him, and in return, she’s accepted the invitation. Looking forward to checking out the final 2 chapters of this story, and as always, keep up the great writing! |
