Author has written 17 stories for Inuyasha, Yu Yu Hakusho, Anime X-overs, and Naruto. UPDATE: I have been writing a lot, but may not be posting much for a while. The main reason is because I am being pulled in so many directions. I am currently working on four Shikamaru/Kagome stories, one Sasuke/Kagome story, and two Sesshoumaru/Kagome stories, in addition to the next chapter of Unwanted, the last scene of Unexpected Gift, and the second-to-last chapter of BWM. Seriously, I have a total of 149 pages of writing done, but not enough of anything done enough to post yet. Sad, isn't it? I'm still here, though! P.S. Just watched "Vampire Knight" with my daughter. I was disappointed. I haven't read the manga yet, which is weird because I usually read the manga first. I am really hoping it isn't as full of holes as the anime. What do you think? So ... I guess I am back after a ten-year hiatus. Life got in the way of my writing, and despite several attempts over the years to sit down and write out the ending to BWM, since I have always known how it was going to go, I just couldn't seem to put the words on screen. I think I will really get it done now. I am also going to attempt some pieces in the IY/Shippuden universe. I know I am late to the party, but I hope those ships haven't sailed. My avatar pic was done by the lovely and talented MikaRabidKitsune. You should check out her gallery on DA. About me: contrary to my sons' opinions, I am not quite older than dirt, -- but I am probably older than the majority of anime/manga fanfic authors and readers out there. I have 4, yes, count them: four children. My three sons used to compete throughout the midwest in different martial arts circuits, and have held state and national titles. So, yes, I know the difference between a frontsnap kick, a roundhouse kick, and a tornado kick. I'm very familiar with American Goju and XMA styles, with some TaeKwanDo taught by Ernie Reyes, Sr. thrown in for fun. We also have a marvelous collection of bos, sais, kamas, nunchaku, and swords at our house. I do not fear unruly boys coming to date my daughter. (She's the youngest.) I have been married to the same oblivious male creature for almost 29 years now. And he still has great legs. What fandoms do I like? I am a serious fan of several manga series: "InuYasha," "Yu Yu Hakusho," "Flame of Recca," "S-Cry-ed," "Blade of Heaven," "Fruits Basket," and others. I really enjoy lots of anime, too. Of course, "Naruto" is a favorite at our house, but I also like "Full Metal Alchemist," and am getting extremely interested in "Blood." I confess, I have the entire "Chobits" series on dvd as well as the manga. And I have a tendency to pick up odd series based on the style of the animation or drawing, and the relative "hotness" of the bishies. ("Yurara," "Princess Ai," and "Dazzle," to name a few.) My favorite fics are Inuyasha crossovers. If I'm going to write a story, you can bet my heroine will be Kagome. Of all the females in all the series, she's the one I find the most admirable and appealing. My all-time favorite pairing is Hiei/Kagome. What's not to love? She's light to his dark, friendly to his aloofness, but just as determined and convinced by her ideals as he is in his pessimistic view of life. They complete each other. I came to this OTP down a long, winding road starting with the canon Inu/Kag then becoming intrigued by the possibility of Sess/Kag. From there, I ventured into crossovers and YYH is tailor-made to merge and blend with the IY universe. The first crossovers I read were Kur/Kag and I loved the idea of them together--until I ran into a Hiei/Kagome fic. From that point on, I have never wavered or looked back. I do still read Kagome with other male characters, (just not as often as I used to), but I can't read Hiei with anyone else. My love for this pairing is strong--obsessive, even--and I have a nice collection of Hiei and Kagome action figures, gashapon-type figures, plushies, fanart, and other knickknacks. If you're checking out my profile, you may have read something of mine, so I hope you enjoyed it! |
