   madmiko chapter 6 . 4/3/2019 *sigh* This is absolutely one of my all-time favorite fanfics. The humor flows so smoothly and doesn't seem forced or silly. I love your writing. As someone who hasn't done any writing since 2008 myself, yet who is about to plunge back into it, I will continue to hope you will turn your attention back to this and share more of your wonderful talent with us. I can't stand the thought of poor Kagome sitting there next to Shippou while Shikamaru gets the wrong idea about their relationship forever and ever. _ |
| madmiko chapter 5 . 4/3/2019 Poor Kagome. She was able to call off Miroku and Inuyasha, but not Shippou. TOO funny! She would have been better off meeting three guy friends than one really affectionate guy. Ino is very conniving-she was quick to invite them to join her and her teammates so Shikamaru would see that Kagome is taken. Can't wait to see what he thinks! |

| madmiko chapter 3 . 4/3/2019 What's this? Kagome is deliberately being enticing? Nice plot twist! And getting her cues from the master: Miroku. Very smart! Kagome very shrewdly analyzed Shikamaru's character as a closet pervert, but a man who wants to do the chasing. When he gets around to it. LOL! Too bad for Ino, but bravo Kagome! And bravo to the author! I am so sad there are only three more chapters before this was discontinued. |

| madmiko chapter 1 . 4/3/2019 When I saw you had a story featuring Shikamaru and Kagome, I just had to check it out. I really enjoy your writing, and your portrayal of the characters always seems spot-on. I got a good chuckle out of Shikamaru's thoughts about Kagome's filing system. And of course the key was between her breasts! LOL! His thoughts about not staring as she returned the key to where she kept it were were perfect: " ... after all, it was only improper if his indulgence was witnessed." I saw in the summary that you have discontinued this story. I beg you to come back to it and finish it! |

Its weird that after reading your new stories I still check on the status of this one to see if there's an update... its been years and years yet its still a favorite. I blame it on my enduring love for shikamaru. And the way you wrote this story emphasizes all the amusing and adorable potential of the lazy genius. He's underrepresented and I wish more stories took a more playful approach to his character. Especially paired with a mischievous Kagome coaxing out his inner perv. Ha...
