I can't even begin to tell you how happy I was to read the description for this story. I have had the same thoughts about the canon storyline, and honestly, I always expected Takahashi to have Naraku pull almost exactly the same scenario on Inuyasha and Kagome with a vastly different outcome. I seriously don't know why she didn't. And I have SO often thought about how Kikyou never mentioned Onigumo to Inuyasha at all, so bless you for putting that in here. This was perfect! And I could see Miroku resorting to sorcery to help his friends. Great story!

Yet again you point out something that wasn't pointed out in the actual series and infact SHOULD have been, while Kikyo and Inuyasha did love one another there was little trust present which is proven by the fact that they were so quick to mistrust one another
ive always felt that this was quite a solid point that was ignored in the manga
on the other hand Inuyasha and Kagome's relationship is built on trust and faith and this has been proven multiple times not to mention Kagome has seen more of Inuyasha then Kikyo ever did
so i was really happy to read this!Your fanfics are amazing and im thankful for them!

I really respect how this was carefully written. In my opinion, this story could fit as an extra in the Final Act- like a little while after Kikyo's death (again). Though I don't hate the undead priestess, and I know she has a good heart, it CANNOT be ignored that certain aspects in her past with Inuyasha proves she doesn't completely trust him, nor does she fully accept him. And I'm a bit disappointed something so blatant hasn't been pinpointed at some point in the series. Which is why I love these kind of fanfictions, the ones that looks deep in certain aspects and converging it into a riveting story. I would honestly consider this canon, because Inuyasha and Kagome's relationship deserve more substance than what was given.

This was so cute. I honestly can see this being true. Kikyou happens to be my second favorite character (under Sesshomaru) but Kagome, in a manner of speaking,is a stronger person. She would have known better
