Great story despite it being old, but if your gonna have Kagome rebel, have her rebel to the fullest. She gave in waaaay to quickly for my taste. And if Neiji is gonna be the douche bag of the story then the same with him. In the end he's still a dick with not heart. And her giving in so easily, like a weak willed women. Almost made that training seem pointless.

I so love neji and kagome. Fire and ICE can so be used to describe tehm. Tug and pull.

This was the 1st crossover I've ever read and I didn't expect to enjoy it as much as I did.

To be honest, despite your awesome writing skills, my inner feminist wouldn't let me enjoy the story. The dedication and loyalty the nurse saw in Neji only looked like guilt and obligation to me. And the way Kagome just melted in his hands because of a kiss after all that had been done, said, and felt just made me... yeah. :/ I'm so used to a Kagome that breaks traditionthat this one who follows it just left me off kilter. Add to that the misogynism and patriarchy, and my eyes were twitching spastically with every well-written sentence I read. But I do bow to your story writing skills! :)

The writing is so good, but the chauvinism...argghhhhhhh. So painful. :'(
