When you were 5, your mom gave you an ice cream cone. You thank her by yelling at her that it's the wrong kind. When you were 9, your mom drove you from swimming class to soccer and one birthday party to another. You thanked her by slamming the door and never looking back. When you were 10, your mom payed for piano classes. You thanked her by never coming to class. When you were 12, your mom was waiting for a very important call. You thanked her by talking on the phone all night. When you were 14, your mom payed for a month away at summer camp. You thanked her by not bothering to write a single letter. When you were 16, your mom taught you how to drive her car. You thanked her by taking it every chance you got. When you were 17, your mom drove you to the mall and gave you her credit card. You thanked her by maxing it out. When you were 18, your mom cried at your high school graduation. You thanked her by partying until dawn. When you were 20, your mom drove you to collage. You thanked her by saying good-bye to her outside the drom so you wouldn't have to say bye in front of your friends. When you were 26, your mom payed for your wedding. You thanked her by moving halfway across the world. When you were 30, your mom fell ill and needed you to take care of her. You thanked her by reading about the burden parents became to children. Then, one day, she quietly died and everything you did came crashing down on you. If YOU love your mom, re-post this and if you don't, you won't care if your mom dies, will you? If you could read that put it in your profile My name is Tiffany, I am three, My eyes are swollen, I cannot see, I must be stupid, I must be bad, What else could have made my dad so mad? I wish I were better, I wish I weren't ugly, Then maybe my mommy would still want to hug me. I can't do a wrong, I can't speak at all Or else I'm locked up, all day long. When I'm awake I'm all alone The house is all dark, my folk aren’t at home When my mommy does come home, I'll try and be nice, So maybe I'll just get, one whipping tonight. I just heard a car, my daddy is back From Charlie's bar. I press myself against the wall. I try to hide, from his evil eyes I'm so afraid now, I'm starting to cry He finds me weeping, calls me ugly words He says it’s my fault He suffers at work. He slaps and hits me And yells at more, I finally get free And run to the door. He's already locked it, and I start to bawl, He takes me and throws me against the hard wall I fall to the floor, with my bones nearly broken And my daddy continues, with more bad words spoken, "I'm sorry!" I scream, but it’s now much to late His face has been twisted, into an unimaginable shape The hurt and the pain, again and again O please God have mercy, O please let it end! And he finally stops, and heads for the door, while I lay there motionless. Brawled on the floor. My name is Tiffany I am three, tonight my daddy murdered me And you can help, sickness me top the soul, If you read this and don't pass it on I pray for your forgiveness because you would have to be one heartless person, to not be effected By this Poem, and because you are effected Do something about it! Si I'll ask you to do, is pass it on! IF YOU ARE AGAINST CHILD ABUSE! Girl: Slow down, I'm scared. Guy: No, this is fun. Girl: No it's not. Please, it's so scary. Guy: Then tell me you love me. Girl: I love you, now please slow down. Guy: Now give me a big hug. (She gives him a big hug) Guy: Can you take my helmet off & put it on yourself, it's really bothering me. The next day in the newspaper, a motorcycle crashed into a building due to brake failure. Two people were in the crash, but only one survived. If you would do the same thing for the person you love, copy and paste this into your profile. I am the girl that people look through when I say something. I am the girl that spends most of her free time reading, writing, or doing other activities that most teenagers wouldn't call normal. I am the girl that people call weird, a nerd, and a freak either behind my back or to my face. I am the girl that doesn't spend all her time on MySpace, or talking to a girlfriend on a cellphone or regular phone. I am the girl that hasn't been asked out ever. I am the girl that has stopped to smell the flowers and jump and splash in the rain. But I am also the girl who knows and is proud to be who she is, doesn't care if people call her weird (it's a compliment), who loves reading and writing and doing the things that no one seems to have the time to do any more, who can express herself better with words than with words, and knows the importance of the little things. Woman: Hiding from you. Man: Haven't I seen you someplace before? Woman: Yes, that's why I don't go there anymore. Man: Is this seat empty? Woman: Yes, and this one will be if you sit down. Man: Your place or mine? Woman: Both. You go to yours, and I'll go to mine. Man: So, what do you do for a living? Woman: I'm a female impersonator. Man: Hey baby, what's your sign? Woman: Do not enter. Man: How do you like your eggs in the morning? Woman: Unfertilized. Man: Your body is like a temple. Woman: Sorry, there are no services today. Man: I would go to the end of the world for you. Woman: Please stay there then. Man: If I could see you naked, I'd die happy. Woman: If I saw you naked, I'd probably die laughing. Man: If I could rearrange the alphabet I'd put u and i together Woman: Really, I'd put f and u together Man: Your eyes, they're amazing. Woman: Seeing your back would be pretty amazing. Man: Your name must be Daisy, because I have the incredible urge to plant you right here! Woman: Really? I have the incredible urge to plant my foot up your @$$. Man: Can I borrow your phone? I have to call God and tell him one of his angels is missing! Woman: Can I borrow yours? I have to report that the mental hospital is missing one of its patients. The teacher was going to explain evolution to the children. The teacher asked a little boy: Tommy do you see the tree outside? TOMMY: Yes.. TEACHER: Tommy, do you see the grass outside? TOMMY: Yes. TEACHER: Go outside and look up and see if you can see the sky. TOMMY: Okay (He returned a few minutes later) Yes, I saw the sky. TEACHER: Did you see God up there? TOMMY: No. TEACHER: That's my point. We can't see God because he isn't there. Possibly he just doesn't exist. A little girl spoke up and wanted to ask the boy some questions. The teacher agreed and the little girl asked the boy: Tommy, do you see the tree outside? TOMMY: Yes. LITTLE GIRL: Tommy do you see the grass outside? TOMMY: Yessssss! LITTLE GIRL: Did you see the sky? TOMMY: Yessssss! LITTLE GIRL: Tommy, do you see the teacher? TOMMY: Yes LITTLE GIRL: Do you see her brain? TOMMY: No LITTLE GIRL: Then according to what we were taught today in school, she possibly may not even have one! (You Go Girl!) FOR WE WALK BY FAITH, NOT BY SIGHT' II CORINTHIANS 5:7 A girl about seventeen was out with her friends one night and time passed quickly as they shared their experiences of the past year. She ended up staying longer than planned and had to walk home alone. She wasn't afraid, it was a small town and her house was only a few blocks away. As she walked under the tall elm trees Diane asked God to keep her safe from harm and danger. When she reached an alley, which was a shortcut to her house, she decided to take it. However, halfway down the alley she noticed a man at the end of the alley as though he were waiting for her. She became uneasy and began to pray for God's protection. Instantly a feeling of calmness and security wrapped around her, she felt as though someone was walking with her. When she reached the end of the alley she walked right past by the man and arrived home safely. The following day she read in a newspaper that a young girl had been raped in the alley only twenty minutes after she had been there. Feeling overwhelmed by the fact that it could have been her, she wept. Thanking the Lord for her safety and to help the young women, she went down to the police station. She felt she could recognize the man, and told them her story. The police asked her if she could willingly look at a lineup to see if she could recognize him. She agreed and immediately pointed out the man she had seen in the alley the night before. When the man as told he had been identified he broke down and confessed. The officer thanked Diane and asked her if he could do anything for her. she asked him if she could ask the man one question. Diane was curious as to why he had not attacked her. When the policeman asked him he answered, "Because she wasn't alone. She had two tall men walking on either side of her." Amazingly, whether you believe it or not, you're never alone.
