There was another before the Dark Lord who was charged with making Middle Earth safe for Elves to live freely, and with Sauron's betrayal the task failed. But Iluvatar bade that the work be finished, that the Firstborn be not doomed to fade from Middle Earth. And so the Ringsmith returns. Slow updates, slow burn platonic!love.

Smells Like Peppermint - Three days into his permanent relocation to Seireitei and sudden Captaincy of the Third Division, and Ichigo suddenly finds out that shinigami and humans really aren't the same at all. For one, there are three different dynamics within the overall male-female genders. Second, there are a bunch of societal conventions he hasn't been following and now must learn to deal with. And third, he doesn't really agree with the common prejudices about any of the dynamics. At all. And then his scowling, aggressive, adorable little spitfire of a boyfriend, the one and only Hitsugaya Toushiro, presents as an Omega - the first captain to do so in Seireitei's history. Child Captain - Oneshot. In which lower-ranked member of the Tenth Division realizes that, cold and imposing though he seems, his captain is a nothing more than a lost child crying for a friend, and that watching a child die is almost a thousand times more painful that watching his captain die. AKA, a 10th Division medic realizes his captain is barely scraping teenager, and yet somehow they expect him to be an adult.

And So the Seasons Must Change - Oneshot Yamamoto ponders over his newest - and youngest - captain. Perhaps this once, he would allow himself to regret what must be done.

Instead of wild boar, a lost spirit, or even a mutant Chimera, he finds a boy named Killua collapsed in the woods, a strange, glowing jewel hung on a chain around his neck. It turns out that Killua is the deposed heir to the throne of Padokea, a nation feared for its long line of assassin-kings, and he's in trouble - not only did he fail to assassinate the evil Necromancer threatening to engulf his nation and the rest of the free world in dark magic, but he stole the one object that could actually save them all - the Heartstone. And Gon, well - he's always been looking for an adventure, hasn't he?

Price for a Life - Gon wakes up in the hospital after his battle with Pitou, fully healed, and Killua is there to greet him. But he thought he'd already given up everything for Kite and his revenge. Well. Not everything. Not yet. If only Killua wasn't so giving. A what-if story, where Nanika's healing comes with a cost. Oneshot

A series of loosely-connected oneshots from my Revolutionaries AU - Killua and Gon are caught in the middle of a civil war in which the military and government of the country they're staying in turns on its own people. They end up siding with the protesting citizenry and end up becoming sort-of reformist/anarchist leaders. Aka, the AU in which Gon and Killua quite literally tell oppressive governments to fuck off and are rebellious little deviants that will not sit down and shut up or play nice, ever. And it's not pretty for anyone involved

Instead, they stay trapped in limbo, like those gaping wounds frozen in the slowly fading ring of Yuuma's Black Trigger. His father bought him seven years of a half-life, a half-life of bleeding survivor's guilt that he had been content to succumb to. Or he would have been content - until Jin sees something. A sliver of a chance, locked deep inside the whirlwind of another disaster, for Yuuma to live whole and hale. The only problem: For once, Jin's Foresight isn't clear, and the chance is slender. And Yuuma will die a thousand times before he lets anyone give him a life he thinks he doesn't deserve - especially at their own expense. How do you convince someone who died seven years ago that life is worth living? Osayuu
