Update on Real life, May 7, 2011
Hello everyone...

well this past month... year... two years.. has been a very long journey...

My mother has Alzheimer's.. and I've been her caregiver for the past four years.. last month.. She fell and broke her left hip.. The surgery was a turning point in her mental status... I can't keep her at home any longer.. The cost was beginning to become to much.. as well as the emotional toll on me... has been tremendous.

The week she fell.. I felt that I had failed her.. in not keeping her safe... but I know I'm not superwoman. That her disease was just progressing faster than I could keep up.. That she was slowly loosing sight of the world around her and slipping in her own world alone with her past and memories of those who have passed on.

Monday.. I go and pick her from a behavioral unit that specializes in Alzheimer's and Dementia, and then placement in a Nursing Home.. the one I work at. Her complete care is no longer mine alone...

Alzheimer's is an evil disease. Having them look at you and not realize who you are is the most painful thing I have endured.

My heart hurts.

My soul hurts.

Those looking for an update.. well.. not for awhile.. when I get back into the swing of things... I'll begin by finishing one story at a time.. and continue from there.. but until then..

Remember your Mother on Mother's day... and never let a day go by without telling her you love her..

UPDATE: alright.. 6 weeks ago.. I was hurt at work.. AGAIN.. this time it's my hand. My primary writing hand.. my finger was almost chopped off by a falling sink.. but it only flayed the skin on top of my knuckle. Had to have stitches.. now the hard part is that my finger curls inward.. and makes it hard to type.. and type or write for long periods of time.. Working on a Snarry fest fic.. for the Snarry a thon for Insane Journal at the moment.. then I'm gonna try to concentrate on my WIP's...

As I said in my A/N.. I landed in the Hospital and I'm still on the mend. But I have something still going on.. which leaves me weak and sick. But I'm working myself back into writing.. and getting my muse to play with me.

The drabbles I've been doing.. If..they become a story all their own.. I will move them to their own spot as a complete story themselves.. cause It does look like two them might come from them... I had to do something to jump start my brain.. And I blame Torina on Severus Sighs.. all her fault..

The goal for the coming new year is too finish my stories, if only one at a time. You've Got Mail is at the top of the list. I will be working on all of my stories but those who have been waiting for the older ones to be finished.. I am going to try to put priority on them.

I have a list of plots I want to work on and first thing is get these done first.

Hello everyone.. sorry the lull in updating.. but I got sick.. and the doctor put me on bedrest when I pulled the muscles in my Stomach. couldn't stand or walk.. let alone sit at the computer for any length of time. But I am back.. slowly getting back into the swing of things..
