 Author has written 22 stories for Harry Potter. Hello, I'm sorry to say that I'm done with posting on this site for the foreseeable future. My apologies goes out to those who have followed me over the years but sadly, this isn't fun anymore and I've lost all my motivation to post stories. I know I shouldn't have done it but I was looking back over some of the reviews for my stories and was appalled by some of the comments. It's okay to not like my work, everybody is unique and has different opinions on what they like but to say hateful and derogatory comments about me and my family is taking it too far...especially when they don't have the guts to sign their name to what they write. I don't get paid enough to put up with that shit...in fact...this was all for fun and I don't get paid for it at all. I've honestly sat here tonight debating whether to delete all my work on this site and just write for myself from now on or maybe move on to another site where 'guests' are not allowed to review. It's amazing how signing your name to something makes people rethink how they comment even though that's not always the case. Anyway, I'm leaving everything up for now and giving myself time to cool down. If I still feel that way in a month, well at this point I'm declaring it no great loss. In addition, I've turned off the PM on my account as I've been getting garbage there too. I'm not saying my work is 'all that' but I understand why so many of our better story tellers have cut their losses and quit posting. Thanks, Jack |
