Update 11/16/2016: Many of you have inquired about my stories, so I thought I'd give you a status update. This past year I have had some serious health issues that have kept me from writing, I'm hopeful my the start of the new year to be up and writing regularly again. I am so grateful to those who have wished me well and have continued to be interested in my stories. Thanks again!

Well a little bit about me: I'm a father of five, my two oldest are married now and I'm a onetime grandpa so far. I am a huge Harry Potter fan. I started reading the Harry Potter books when my oldest was just a wee one and have read all the books and seen all the movies . I got hooked on Fanfiction several years ago when I read the fic Harry Potter and the Refiners Fire by Abraxan. She is an incredibly talented writer and has published her own work of fiction. I highly recommend her stories!

She almost convinced me to be a Ginny/Harry shipper, but I just don't see that as a viable relationship and J.K. just seemed at least to me, to throw her into the girlfriend category almost as an after thought. Hermione (for me at least) is the definite girl for Harry they are fiercely loyal to each other and are comfortable with showing each other affection. Ron is an idiot with no drive and an inferiority complex he would not survive a real relationship with Hermione.

My current favorite pairing with Harry is the beautiful and enigmatic Bellatrix Lestrange (Black). There are several well written stories out there with this pairing, including Delenda Est, Power of Darkness, and Family Issue. Check them out they're great!

Other Ships I Like:

Harry/Luna: She comes in a close second to Hermione for me, I think there is an emotional chemistry there, and perhaps a damsel in distress aspect that speaks to Harry's since of chivalry.

Harry/Daphne: The Golden Boy and the Ice Princess. When two opposites meet there's always fun to be had.

Harry/Bellatrix: Bellatrix just fascinates me as a character there is so much to discover about her. She's dark, insane, flirtatious, incredibly dangerous, and beautifully intoxicating. She is an open character with little background given in cannon. So it is exciting to explore possible story-lines on how she became this powerful dark witch.

Harry/Fluer: A lot of great stories about this couple , wish I could speak French!

Harry/ Susan Bones: Another great pairing, Susan was a very under-developed character in the books, but in the world of Fanfiction she has been given more substance and background by many wonderful authors. A very fun love interest for Harry.

I'm really open to giving any pairing a chance. However I'm not a big fan of slash. I guess I'm a little old fashioned that way but its seems to be quite a popular genre here. And to quote Seinfield "Not that there's anything wrong with that."

My Stories:

Watching Over Harry: Bellatrix in this story is a victim of circumstance and is not the insane witch from cannon. Siruis and Bella are cell mates in Azkaban and escape together. Sirius enlists Bella's help in watching over his godson. Through several visits and correspondence Bella begins to have deep feelings for Harry and Harry unknowingly at first begins to recognize he has deep feelings for her. A botched ritual to save Harry's life has unexpected but ultimately not unwanted results. Join Harry and Bella and their growing family and friends as they face the darkness to come. Now Completed!

Dancing With Trees: This is a Harry/Luna fic and you can pretty much throw anything cannon out the window. Harry is left for dead by the Dursleys and is raised by the widowed Selene Lovegood and her daughter Luna. A soul bond and unique abilities will shape the lives and future of the two young protagonists as they learn to understand the world around them and the growing bond between each other. On Hiatus. Not giving up on it just rethinking the storyline.

Passageways: This is another story I have in the works. This will be a Time travel story (sort of with a twist) This story will feature Harry and Bella (currently my favorite pairing) and will begin at the start of Harry's fifth year. I'm excited about this one I have not seen a time travel story with the twist I have planned before, but then again I could be wrong there are so many stories out there that it is impossible to say for certain.
