8/29/12: After six months without a computer, I am finally back. I hope to be able to finish many of the stories I have started, though I am back to school and busy with both small group communications and latin. I have a rampant plot bunny in my head and must get it out. I am sure the rest of you understand this. I hope that you enjoy my first foray into DC comics: Fortuna. I think it will be fairly short, about 4 chapters.

I am a father to two wonderful young ladies, and have been happily married for over 23 years. I have been writing Harry Potter Fanfiction for many years now under another pen-name (weasleysrcool), so some of you may recognize a story or two from other sites.

Up until the 6th book I was a huge fan of Ron Weasley. Unfortunately, JKR decided to make him one of the universe's biggest prats. While I still like the Weasleys, I am no longer enamored with them, thus the change in name. I am a fan of numerous ships in the HP universe. I was always partial to Harry/Ginny, and still enjoy that ship. I am also now a huge fan of Harry/Hermione, and I also enjoy Harry/Luna and Harry/Tonks. I also think that Padma would make a good match for Harry. Daphne Greengrass intrigues me as a match for Harry as well. Once Ron became a prat, he no longer became a good match for Hermione. They would probably kill each other within a year. I do like the idea of Ron/Luna or Ron/Lavender.

I feel that if Hermione had acted earlier, she would have been with Harry, but once Ginny became a factor Hermione stood no chance. It is simply an extension of Harry's character. The only way that Harry would end up with Hermione after HBP would be for Ron to be out of the way, and for Ginny to either be gone or accepting of the change in relationship. Harry would never purposefully hurt either Ron or Ginny in that manner. Hermione likewise would not do so. My writing shall always reflect that.

There will seldom be any Ron or Ginny bashing in my stories. (only if I deem the story must have it) I think that Ginny was someone who overcame her earlier crush on Harry, and after they came to see each other I truely believe that she loves him, not the BWL. She has been through Hell, and deserves to be treated like a complete character, and not some crazed fan-girl. Ron as always has great potential, and I like to see that potential exploited.

That being said, all my stories have elements of romance in them, as I am a hopeless romantic at heart. Some will be angst filled, some will be happy stories. It really depends upon my mood at the time I come up with the plot bunny.

Please realize that I am also working on 4 novels of my own creation, so sometimes my fanfiction lags behind. For those of you who actually follow my fics, I humbly appologize ahead of time if this in any way inconveniences you.
