Author has written 7 stories for Legend of Zelda, Harry Potter, and Star Wars. I love Harry Potter, what can I say? It's just such a fantastic world to escape to and play in. I guess that's why I also enjoy and have written some The Legend of Zelda and Star Wars. I love the adventure aspect, I suppose, so I tend to like stories that include action/adventure. I ship Harry/Ginny. They are just so much fun! And I mean the canon pairing. I mean, JK didn't really give us too much of Ginny's true character. We really only had a bit of book four to go off of, a minimal amount of exposure (though it was brilliant) in book five. Then of course we had book six, but even there we just got hints of why Harry liked her so much instead of reading about it firsthand. And finally, a little bit more in book seven. On the one hand, this leaves a lot of fans unsure about Harry's choice in Ginny and generates lots of arguments. On the other hand, it allows the reader to fill in a lot of the missing gaps and give Ginny the voice they feel Harry would truly love. Which leads me to my favorite fanfics. I generally like them to be light-hearted fun, though some serious drama makes for a good read, too. I don't take the favorite button lightly and will only favorite a finished story, so if you make my list, you've got something special. I like reviews and I'm trying to leave reviews more as a result. They are the best, even some of the more critical ones. It gives the author a motivation so much greater than an alert or favorite ever will. If for some reason, you are reading this after you've liked one of my stories, and you haven't left a review, I ask that you just drop a quick line, saying what you liked or didn't like about the story. I have written four stories, and had a good time doing it. And I'm in the middle of a fifth and sixth. I normally don't post two stories at once...but one is actually already finished. I'm just posting it over a few weeks. A Foolproof Plan was a lot of fun for me. I know its not a terribly original idea, to have Harry pretend to be Ginny's boyfriend only to fall for her. But I hope I made it my own, and made it fun enough to make it an enjoyable read for everyone. Happier was a plot I could not get out of my head, and I just needed to write it out. I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out--and hope to utilize the flashback format again in the future. Even if you aren't a fan of Zelda stories, you should check it out, just for a quick, action/adventure read. Let me know what you think. The Phoenix's Reward is a simple one-shot about some pranks at Hogwarts leading to a little love. Harry/Ginny fun fluff. I wrote it for the Christmas season, and it's just meant to be a fun read. It Happened Like This is a unique narrative from Fred and George's perspective. In an AU world where Harry was taken into hiding by Sirius to prepare for his match-up with Voldemort, how might Harry and Ginny meet up when he comes to Hogwarts for his seventh year after the defeat of Voldemort? When Fred and George are narrating, how can it not be a fun ride? Harry Potter and the Lord of Immortality could be as long as 30 chapters, though I'm shooting for just over 20. It is an AU 6th year fic that disregards horcruxes, as I feel they have been done to death (though some would argue that AU 6th years have been too. And pun intended...). I'm pretty happy about its progress, and it's been my favorite Harry/Ginny story to write yet. The freedom 20 chapters gives you to develop plot is great. That said, it has been far too time consuming and less short-term rewarding than I would like for future fics. An Unfamiliar Force was inspired after I read Caina's "The Prisoner." This AU idea of Ysalamiri removing the force from Rey just long enough to make her understand there's something more than the Dark Side was so compelling. And I've always been a fan of the enemies to lovers trope. So there you have it. I've got three potential stories. My first potential story It's Protocol is super exciting. It's a completely original (from what I've read, at least) AU in which Voldemort decided to go for the jugular in OotP, and took over the Ministry before they had any time to react. Some years later, the resistance is based out of Hogwarts, and Harry finds a surprising ally during a potions run in enemy territory St. Mungo's. My second potential story Under Cover, involves an AU post-war, International Auror teamup of new recruit Ginny with reclusive war hero Harry, full of comically intense situations and covers. I have a chapter written, but I didn't love it, so I shelved it for a while. I still like the idea, but I need to work on the characters a little more. Finally, Accidents Happen is another take on the accidental magical marriage contract. I've just loved a couple in the past, and thought I might try to add to the genre. Unfortunately, because it is the least original of my ideas, I have less motivation to write it. I know I would make it my own, but still. I wrote a chapter and loved it, but am finding it hard to care about the story when my others are unfinished. PM me if you actually read this and have interest in any of these stories. It would be fun to bounce some ideas off of other people. I enjoy popcorn, chips and salsa, and I'm rarely late. |
