Hello everyone. Let me tell you about myself as a Potter head. I have read the books thoroughly four times each and watched the movies a couple times. obviously i prefer to read. Personally I think that Rowling left out a few details that the fans would want to know. like what was Hermione's home life like? what were her parents' names. what ever happened to Malfoy after school? And what did they all do with themselves after Hogwarts?

Anyway, I also disagree with the pairings in her story. Ron and Hermione do not make sense as a couple. they are too opposite for it to work. I could see them dating for a while, but their differences would inevitably get in the way. also Ginny and Harry, while they would make a good couple, I don't think Harry could see her and not wonder if she was with him because of her hero worship or because she truly loved him. I personally think that Harry and Hermione would make a better couple than either of the cannon pairings because they have become for each other exactly what they needed. he was her rock that she needed when others would hurt her, and she was his emotional support when no one else seemed to care about him. and they trust each other completely. it wouldn't take much at all for them to fall in love with each other.

In truth I'm not a big fan of Ron or Dumbledore. Ron has proven way too often to be a jealous prick, who can't be trusted completely. and quite frankly I don't think Dumbledore is the great leader of the light that he pretends to be. too many holes in his 'reasoning'. I don't like him.

with all that being said, I truly love the Harry Potter universe and have developed a close bond with some of the characters within. but just to show that my reading is not limited to Harry Potter, I'm posting one of my favorite poems here in my profile. enjoy.

THE FOOL'S PRAYER
