There's a lot of hating in there, and I can imagine that tripping some readers up, but the story itself was well written and original. I especially like how you had the whole society fearing a dead man for seventeen years. Can't even decry it as unbelievable either, since it happened once before. Having a new love interest kept me reading and I am glad for it.

I wish he used a different name than Slytherin like Gryffindor Black or Pevrelle. Other than that great story

Good story, the story line flowed well and I enjoyed it. I guess I hoped for Bill and Moony. You never know what they were told by Dumbles, or if they were charmed/hexed into what they believed to be true. Ah well...

Harry should have told Mandy's parents that he wouldn't marry someone who 'was plucked more times than the Rose of Tralee'.
I was wondering how magic would react to an illegal magical contract. Couldn't magic take it out on those who connived? Perhaps Dumbles will be the one to lose his magic?

Are you aware that you can compliment someone without hitting on them? I cant stress how completely inappropriate it is for harry to constantly be hitting on his girlfriends best friend, what is he going to shag her behind his girlfriends back next? It wrecked the otherwise amazing story for me that you would constantly do this. I'm married with children and I love my husband of 40 years more than life itself and I know he feels the same for me but even he said when I asked him to read this that he would never do that and it's completely inappropriate and he actually used the word revolting and actually said it was a disgrace and made a laughing stock of relationships.

I've read this story several times now, and I must apologize for not having told you earlier how much I like it. While not perfect, it is refreshingly original even after ten years. A bit harsh on Hermione whom I tend to see as a positive character (but not without flaws), but your version of her is still within the confidence interval, just nearer the lower end than many authors prefer her to be. And if there is a really ambivalent character in the whole series whose actions can give rise to all sorts of interpretation, it is Albus. The North Americans come across as a kind of deus ex machina, but I just loved the idea of getting Tatanka Iyotake involved. If anything, your story showed that the world of the books was just too small for the characters. Nice dismissal of the Horcrux concept, too. Made me chuckle. Hats off to you, and I just hope you are still among the living and can muster the strength to write because I really wish I could read another chapter or six from you.

It's sexist and demeaning and relationships and women in general do not work like that.
Also, Harry is a complete asshole regardless of perceived moral highground.

It's hard to believe that the bloodpurists didn't take over the UK while they had 17 years to do it. Not all of them were death eaters so there should be some of them still alive to take over. As far as everyone knew Voldemort was alive, Harry was a muggle and had no intention of stopping him and with the prophecy being common knowledge, no one would have tried to stop them because everyone would have thought that they had no way of winning against them. So what were they doing during all this time ?
