I loved the pastors sermon that you put in here. Very few fanfiction stories include anything remotely religious but this fit so extremely well and hit such an emotional high! Thank you for sharing this and including such a wonderful sermon!

Are you nuts? Dumbledore never showed up at the zoo before. Why would he show up there now, just because Vernon kicked Harry? Especially because it's such a public place, with so many non-magical people around. There's no way it would happen. You're starting off your story with something that simply wouldn't happen.

The story is quite good and it's too bad you never have gone further with the sequel of this, but besides that there are things a bit messes up and one thing that doesn't flow with the story.
-Why aren't the dursley's not punished, apart from the magical means then they should go to prison and stuff if the grangers have any to say about it.
-Sure other stories go on about it to when there young but i find it a bit weird adults talk and push them together will they just met and don't even know what love entails, whether the prophecy or not.
-No matter the excuses ron blurt out in the train or thereafter, it can't be believable?
No where to sit anymore, or like here i miss my family... yet he goes directly to harry. Ehm.. who are trying to fool he's got a big family and 3 of his brothers are on the train and school (later on ginny too)
-Now at least dumbles isn't in it with the weasleys, yet somehow molly makes her incoming calls on the trainstation suspiscously this, considering ginny is a very shy girl at the times doubtfull she goes after h/hr to talk.
this part could have been changed. Just like malfoy's part come on what happend in the damn clothes store he sees him again in the train as if they didn't meet even dares to talk like that in front of adults who do nothing. Canon doesn't need to followed if the rest is changed.
-Even asking is who to befriend ron or neville, as if that's not clear cause at that point harry got friends, and ron's behavior would only set him back and in danger.

Whoever Guest that wrote on September 9th 2019, ignore them. I've seen somebody with this personna write very similar things on other stories on around the same date. You had a lovely story until you killed Minerva... good luck on future stories but I will not be following them. To lose such a beloved and major character with no warning after the whole story is wrong. I never would have read it had I known and the whole experience is tainted irreparably now. :-(

Not a bad piece of work. Very fun in places yet occasionally sadder than Marley and Me.

Should be an easy way to prevent Lucy from getting the throne. Point out that, Imperious or not, he served Voldemort who has just been proven to be alive. Do they really want someone who might hand their whole society to the worst dark lord in history in charge?
