Hello everybody, my name is Chris. I am from the great island nation of Down Under and I am first and foremost a Harry Potter writer (though I do hope to branch out a little with some plot bunnies in the future).

Reading is probably my oldest and still fondest of hobbies, which I realized recently I had been neglecting. After re-reading several old favourites I found myself once more bitten with the fanfic bug, resulting in me toning down the gaming and TV binging almost completely.

The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings were childhood favourites and have been thoroughly reread time and time again and, with the Star Wars saga, were likely the most important fiction series of my childhood.

I did attempt to read the first HP book during my early years in high school but it didn't resonate with me at the time. After taking OotP from my younger brother to encourage him to do his homework I read a few chapters and found myself now hooked. I then charged through the series again and now Harry Potter is one of my absolute favourite book series of all time.

Since starting to write fanfiction of my own after joining an HP specific forum in 2006 I have become enamoured with several newer series of books, though my current favourite author would have to be Matthew Reilly, a brilliant Aussie writer who has many books out that you should go and read right now.

You will find a great deal of Harmony in my stories as I am always and forever a Harry/Hermione shipper. I have always felt the connection between them was deeper and more meaningful than the others (not to mention the unlikeliness I find of R/Hr maintaining a marriage to each other for 19 years without a murder charge). As such most of my stories will deal with this pairing so I point out that if you find this idea unpalatable, perhaps my work is not for you.

Since joining here though, I have come to greatly enjoy a few other delightful pairings. Most still involve Harmony. A few superb FemHarry stories have found their way into my favourites due in no small part to the superb pairing with Hermione. And I've come to greatly enjoy Lunar Harmony as well as Harmony/Fleur. These really surprised me when I first encountered them, but have become some solid favourites.

Current Multi-Chapter Stories:

The Boy-Who-Lived... is over there (T) - Harry James Potter is not the Boy-Who-Lived. After the attack on the Longbottoms, the Potters go into hiding in the Muggle world and raise their boy until he turns eleven and heads off to Hogwarts. Where he makes friends, has fun, and steers as clear as possible of the craziness that follows Neville, the Boy-Who-Lived, and his wild adventures.

Elfish Welfare (T) - Halloween 1981 and the Potter family has been attacked. But when Sirius arrives, the crib is empty. Harry is missing, presumed dead, but Mipsy knows the truth. She takes care of little master just as Lord Potter's portrait commands her to.

Eternal Conflict (M) - Set immediately following the Battle of Hogwarts. Harry leaves to continue rounding up the remaining Death Eaters. Eschewing the Ministry's help after all the issues with them in his past and still reeling from the losses he endured how will he end the worlds seemingly unquenchable need for eternal conflict.

Life At The Academy (T) - Next-Gen AU story. After all the heartache and devastation the British Wizarding society suffered during and following the war with Voldemort, many families chose to relocate to a happier place to raise their children. Join some of these children as they begin their lessons at Australia's Alteran Academy of Magic, and keep a wary eye for familiar faces.

Birth Of A Hero (T) - Founders. The story of the Founders of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. My first ever attempt at fan fiction. Being reposted here for the sake of completing my works. Is currently abandoned as I've had no new plot ideas for it in years. Only edited for spelling and grammar during posting so still represents my oldest writing.

Plot Bunnies in active development:

Explosive Situation (T) - After a huge fight Harry ends up in St Mungo's more beaten up than ever before. In those sterile walls many hidden truths come to light and if not addressed the dangerous situation could threaten to destroy the Golden Trio forever.

Reptilia28 - Don't Fear The Reaper Challenge response (M) - Harry has died (AGAIN) and so his newest Death agent has decided to send him back with memories intact. And maybe one or two shortcuts he threw in for fun. When you're stuck where he is fun is hard to come by. ((Outline has been started and I have enough for the first two chapters, but I'm learning with Elfish and BWLIOT to have some chapters queued up before posting the first)).

My Challenges:

Magical Bull in a China Shop - There were many frightening and dangerous creatures in the maze for the Triwizard Third Task. So what if Harry had knocked the Cup into one of these? How would bumbling Pettigrew and Babymort handle a rampaging creature?

Requirements:

- Harry accidentally knocks, spells or otherwise causes the TriWizard Cup Portkey to hit a creature in the Maze during the Third Task

- Creature must result in a team being sent from the Ministry to investigate the Graveyard

- Can be any rating from X - XXXXX (I will send copious amounts of internet cookies to you if you can figure a way for a Billywig to get sent to the Graveyard and end up foiling Voldemort's plans)

- Must interfere with the ritual

- Show how the Champions return to the front of the maze without the Cup

- Those at the school must learn of the event before the crowd disperses

Recommended:

- Prefer pairing of Harry/Hermione if any

- Tom and Peter do not need to be captured, but it is prefered

- Canonicity of the fic is entirely up to the author as long as Harry is in the maze

Length is entirely up to the entrant. But I do love a long story if you choose to do so.

Update - 09/10/19: Been a while since I made an update here. I am still alive and actively working on many of my stories and plunnies alike. I haven't abandoned anything except Birth of a Hero. I've also condensed some of the short one-shot fics into the collections to keep things a little neater. Only the horrid, sleep-deprived and ill-considered attempt at Dramione has been permanently deleted as it sucked and is not something I want to be associated with anymore.

Update - 12/05/19: Been a while since I've updated here. My bad. Made some tweaks to Elfish chapter 8 and 10 to plug a few holes and hopefully make a little more sense of what is coming up. A few other shorter fics I'm working on at present too, that should be posted in the not too distant future, but mostly popping up to say I'm still here, nothing has been abandoned (except BoaH) and I am still working on more chapters.
