I must say, I'd like to see a side-story involving the Potter Coven inspiring the formation of other covens or triads. Ron x Lavender x Parvati would be a fun triad, as would Amelia x Sirius x Narcissa. Furthemore, a coven of four wizards and three witches would make an interesting counter to the stigma that coven magic is about empowering witches and disempowering wizards, as would a coven of seven wizards and six witches (or any combination in which the wizards or warlocks in a coven outnumber the witches). In contrast, a coven of seven or thirteen witches—or a coven of twelve witches and a single wizard—would serve as enlightenment to the Victorian-esk Magical British society that witches are just as good–if not better–than witches.

I'd also like to see an alternate ending in which some members of the coven live on when Ginny passes, two of them being Harry and Hermione, and our resident bookworm has to come up with a list of potential replacements for their fallen coven members after the requisite period of mourning. Let's say Ginny, Susan, and Tonks passed, but the others remained as an unlucky coven of four. None of the remaining four truly wish to replace their fallen coven members, but the negative consequences of having an active four-way coven bond are plain to see already. So—in order to avoid inadvertently destroying everything they have built so far as a coven—Daphne, Harry, Hermione, and Luna are desperate to stabilize their bond. Luckily, a thirteen-witch coven from India that predates the Potter Coven has recently lost four of its members, and a nine-way coven is barely more stable than a four-way coven. They are called Coven Shiva for the destructive nature of their rituals, having been renowned throughout India for their clean and environmentally friendly controlled demolitions. The Potter Coven and the Shiva Coven get to know each other in the months leading up to the next Samhain, during which they perform a thirteen-way coven ritual which merges and stabilizes their bond. The merging reinvigorates each member of the now-named Potter Coven of Shiva (or whatever it might be called) and it is more than a hundred years later that Luna Lovegood dies along with the two original Coven Shiva members that are closest to her. That ten is a round number gives the Potter Coven of Shiva more time to mourn for their fallen members, but a few years later they merge with a twelve member Japanese coven of some renown with a name that translates to 'Coven of Cherry Blossoms'. The now-named Sakura Coven of Shiva (having dropped the recognition of House Potter, seeing as they were but three members of the now 22 member coven) makes a name for themselves by demolishing abandoned warehouses and such while planting fields of vibrant sakura trees in their wake. The next three rounds of death in the coven, each over a hundred years apart, do not touch the three remaining Potters, and the coven grows to the max of 42 and is at the height of its power by the turn of the next millennium. By that time their are twelve other active covens in the world, each having grown to over thirty members. The age of the covens is at its peak at the dawn of the third millennium when Harry dies along with Hermione and Daphne, each having reached over a thousand years of age due to the vitality gained from the coven magic. I know it might seem like a stretch, but if a mere accident of Alchemy made it so that Nicolas Flamel and his wife reached their sixth century, I'd say it is likely that the magic of a coven could make one live as long as men did from the days of Adam to the time of Noah.

But more than anything, I just want to see more of this. Coven magic in the Potterverse is such a rarely used plot device, and the ones that use it often do solely for the sake of smut.

I have to point out minor glitch, that Harry mouth was still very foul after his throw up in Albus office. Should not be pleasant for Hermione.

Currently sitting and bawling my eyes out... Amazing story.. I loved it

Lovely story. I got tears in my eyes when you had them all die together.

What I don't understand, and lots and lots of writers use it in their stories, is, how can the astronomy tower be a romantic place? There isn't much LESS romantic than sitting there with your sweetheart while there's a class of immature giggly pre-teens around you, having their astronomy lesson. Or immature, giggly teens, for that matter. While A tower top might be romantic, THIS one is a classroom, and those tend to have classes in them. At five years times two, if two houses share the class time, plus probably only one sixth-year and one seventh-year NEWT class, that's twelve astronomy classes (at two hours each?) over five school days. I'd expect the tower to be in use from sundown until midnight or so. And wouldn't those brats try to steal Luna's precious pudding? :-)

Why did Harry not point out that when Voldemort was in power a mad man got a way with murder and destruction because the lords and others where way to cowardly or working with him likely, and because slander laws are woefully pathetic, Harry's name has been slandered. Yet they wish to fine and go after him when a child abusing crazy ass bitch gets close and tries to hurt others. And not a one of them decided it was a good idea to try and shield or even defend themselves. Leaving it to the under numbered Aurors in the room, and general incompetents one comes to see in the magical world.

Harry could then go on to move that there is a charge that can be made against Umbridge in regards to the trial that was attempted to get his wand snapped in regards to dementors and then suggest a charge of attempted murder on himself his cousin and a squib should be considered and that either the kiss or pushed through the veil is the only solution. He could have then pointed out, when good people fail to act, they are not to be respected when they die. And the failures of the last war had been clearly on the shoulders of a bunch of people who could not help but be cowards.

He could then point out that the day they celebrate as Voldemort's destruction is the day his parents died, and others had taken leave to not even carry out their wishes. So if people are going to get up in arms, Harry could state, he does not feel justice or action was properly taken to resolve the issues of the last war. And failure to test others with potions or accepting rather flimsy defenses because someone paid galleons, is rather short sided of all of you. Serving your interest rather then the interest of everyone else. Goes to show just how corrupted justice is in this system, and anyone could say that well assult is legal and the force I used was a bit much. At least I stood up when you failed to. I did not blink I did not look away, I accepted someone had to stop her when you all failed to and you can at least draw a wand or use magic. If I had done so even in defense in front of all of you. Once again I would be on trial for using magic underage even if it was pretty clear I did what all you magically brain drained lazy asses could not or would not do yourself.

I also would like to add if Fudge and others had been seeking to make me look like a mad man, I would add that they have Slandered me, and the books printed about me before anyone in the magical world even meet me and wrote of my family or other such was also slander. I would also like to use that push and bare witness to a loads of other things before we get out of here if you would, as a means to ensure. I will not tell lies!
