   bunnybabyeight chapter 12 . 6/28 i've noticed that after writing "cupidoeffector" the text is bold until the next line break. doesn't affect the reading experience much, just a little distracting. on the actual writingplot, it's pretty good. bugs me that they aren't making the leap from "Dumbledore heritage situation" to "Dumbledore is untrustworthy" to "Dumbledore may have/may be dosing us with love potions," but i guess that loyalty potions would probably make that pretty difficult. i just wish they could see what, to me, is right in front of their eyes. might just be that i'm used to characters learning in the first chapter, but reading through that part, where they're aware that something's hinky but not that albus is the source of the hinkyness, is agonizing. |

I think you would call our pancakes crepes and we only ever eat them on Pancake Dayseriously! It's another name for Shrove Tuesday and we eat pancakes. a cooked breakfast here is fried eggs, bacon, fried bread, mushrooms and hash browns. |

| Fenchurch1 chapter 1 . 5/27 Hi, I'm really enjoying this story and it's really exciting waiting to see if Harry will overcome the potions. I have read up to Vernon's wake and I'm finding it hard because I am being jolted by the US-isms. we don't do body viewing here in the UK unless it is specifically arranged. Also we don't get driving licences (not driver's) until we are 17 and then the test is really hardyou have a written test and lots of lessons. I passed 1st time and it still took me 6 months! If you need Brit-picking then I'm happy to offer services. I have a US checker for my writing as I get things wrong even though I have been to the US several times! Anyway, back to the story... it's very gripping... |
