Been reading a lot lately. Typing out some ideas, I doubt they'll go anywhere.

I regret to inform you that all of my stories currently published are discontinued. Feel free to take them up.
Various people have asked for permission to continue or bastardize my old stories and I have given it. Don't cry plagiarism if you find something old of mine under someone else's name.

I probably won't read your fic if:
You spend too much time talking about the Dursley's and their "abuse" or if you compare Harry to an House-Elf.
You call Hermione, "'mione". His mouth was full!
Harry has a twin and James and Lily neglect Harry? Dumb.
Vernon rapes Harry. Ew, and dumb...seeing as how Vernon is afraid that Harry's freakishness will corrupt him.
Hermione abandons Harry...I can see Ron be a lackluster friend...but Hermione has gumption.
Refering to anyone other than Voldemort as "Lord", it's really freaking annoying.
Wandless freaking magic, Harry has a freaking wand for a reason.
If Harry manages the Animagus transformation, don't give him a crappy nickname, stick with the naming conventions set down by MWP&P.
If you have a warning for "spanking of a teen" in your summary, he's freaking Harry Potter, why would he let someone hit him?
Introducing OC's for no logical reason.
Major canon backstory divergences. I love AU...but there are somethings that have to remain the same for example; James was an only child, Regulus died, Petunia hates magic, Snape hates James, loves Lily, and hates Harry,etc.
Harry is never freaking going to go to America!
Blaise Zabini is a confirmed dude yo and he certainly doesn't have blonde hair.
You kill Hedwig for any reason. Bad enough that she died in DH you don't need to have Vernon snapping her neck the summer after OOTP.
Slytherin!Harry and he's in love with Hermione? Right, like that happens. If Harry goes darkside early, Hermione becomes a nonentity; living in the library until she grows boobies and Ron decides he likes 'em bossy.

There are other things that annoy me...but those are the big ones right now.

I ship:
Harry/anything canon, preferably pureblood.
Wolverine/anything canon but nothing too weird.
Bruce/canon and female.
Apollo/Starbuck.
