NeoMiniTails is back! Hi Hi! My name is Neo, and I welcome you to my page. I am a writer who loves to read. You can find me almost everywhere under the name: NeoMiniTails. I've had the same name for thousands of years, and the name had a bit of meaning for me as a child. Neo: new Mini: small Tails: favorite character from Sonic. Despite Tails being in my name, I doubt that I'll ever write in that fandom. One of my closest friends on this site is: MissScorp. Check her stuff out. She's a fantastic writer who really knows how to put you in the story emotionally. Some details about me: I was born on the 23rd of May, 1990. That makes me old enough to be some of your parents. You can always PM me. I am sometimes slow at responding, but I will try. Due to my mental health, I may be slow at updating. I will have times where all I do is update. The latter happens rarely, but it does happen. For the most part, I refuse to give up on a story so even if it says its been years since its been updated, check again soon. I will update it. If you request a review, PM me. If you do: please do not send me smut of any kind. I will read most stories even if I am fandom blind so let me know if you have something to interest me. That being said, if you request a review, I will accept a request once a month for one story. If you want more, you can do a review exchange with me. I try my best to review those who review me. If you have a certain story you want me to read after you've reviewed me, go ahead and mention it in your review at some point. My viewpoint on writing: Never let someone tell you that you can't write because you can. You can and will improve if you allow yourself to. Write for you. Your muse does not like when you try to write according to what the others are doing. Let your muse free. Be aware of characterization. Also be aware that not all readers and writers know what good characterization is. Study characters in the way they interact with others, how they react to situations, and imagine them being real in situations that may not have come up in the canon. If you write yaoi or slash and the character is straight in the canon, it is OOC. Even if the relationship comforts you, it is still out of character. You can most certainly write it, but please do not send those stories as request for me to read. If you're writing characters at an older age, take a guess at how they will be around that age. Try to imagine the good and the bad that's happened to them and create a realistic look into them older. Sometimes, you will have some who won't like it. That's okay. What matters most is if later on, there's a sequel that shows the future, and you see that you were right. No better feeling that that! Crossovers have more freedom while having even more rules. Make them all work for you. |
