This isn't an uncommon theme in Pokefics and probably in fics in general, but I think you handled it well. I even shed a tear.

The one thing that spoilt the impact was the author's notes at the beginning. They were too much a spoiler as to what was coming.

And wow! I'm not the only one that has put themselves in physical situations to find out first hand what a character must be experiencing.

Wow. That was REALLY good. Best Pokemon fic I've read yet (this is the first of your fics that I have perused). I love the way that the entire story seems focused on the rain. The downpour was an integral part of it.

(P.S.- About Suaru's story _More_Than_Life_Itself_? It was a flamee of yours. What you said was true, but I get the feeling that Suaru is young and unskilled, and emotionally might not be able to handle that kind of thing. Please forgive me if this offends you, but could you not flame so harshly? I mean, she did _try_ to write a good fic. And even though it was generic, it was a relatively good story.)

I don't normaly read Pokemon fics ( your's is the first one I've read) but I really like this fic...it was very sweet and sad...keep up the good work.

Cliched-shmayed. You write better than most, and as far as I'm concerned, that's enough to make this short a real sock in the gut.

An excellent execution of a good idea. I love the thought of Brock being able to track Misty down, knowing exactly where she'll be. That's just so...so Brock, y'know? It's sad to think that a car accident would do Ash in, though; I mean, after all, the kid's fought titanic monsters, evil organizations, and then he's killed by a tree? Bwah!
