This was awesome! I loved the changes in Heero! He's obviously let Rei heal him emotionally, at least a little bit, to have him so introspective and willing to feel. Duo's condition would have never crossed his mind before so I hope the braided pilot hasn't suffered too much or Heero will be feeling many pangs of guilt, I'm afraid.

And they KISSED! Wahoo! I'm so excited! He let down the walls and felt comfortable and attracted enough to Rei that he kissed her! This was well worth the wait!

Now, Rei has to go through a series of tests to see if she's fit to be a senshi. Are there others beside Minako and Makoto? All of them? Some of them? Will Rei have to face all of the others? I'm very curious to see what you have in store for her during these upcoming trials. Post soon please!

you know, if or when Rei passes the senshi tests she can bring more help to heero to rescue Duo... but what comes after that? if or when they rescue duo... where does it go after that? do they go after the other gundam pilots, does it just end, does duo get deprogrammed, does he fall in love, do heero and rei get in fights... you know, what happens. or does this fic just end?

eh, i'm in a questioning mood, but i must say i enjoyed this chapter, especially that part with heero spontaneosly kissing rei... the best kisses are spontaneous ones _.

Well, I'm glad you updated. That was quite surprising of Heero. The idea to have a series of tests before Rei becomes a senshi is good. In fact that was along the line of what I was thinking of! Please post more when your finals are over! Good luck with work!

Wow, that was actually really well done for a short chapter. I think keeping it short actually helped it maintain its intensity because it focused on Rei and Heero and the development between them.

Heero's outburst was totally unexpected but it's good for him to finally confess what has kept him cold and unemotional for so long so he can work with Rei in letting it go. It totally tore at my heart when he demanded why she was torturing him by pretending to be his friend. I can't imagine anyone being able to withstand that kind of plea and I'm glad Rei was able to reassure him of her intentions and feelings.

Rei is nothing if not ardent and sincere and you wrote that very well. I'm very interested to see what will happen the next time they have to confront Dr. J after her hearing about the horrors he has subjected Heero to. It's nice to see a strong female character helping an otherwise strong male character like this. It's probably part of the reason I keep returning to read the next chapter!
