If you're reading this, then wow, there's a first time for everything. They call me Psyduck Ranger. A few years back I spent most of my time writing fanfiction. At that point it wasn't because I enjoyed writing so much as it was that I enjoyed existing fiction, and their characters & plots, and I wanted a way to play with them myself. Nowadays, however, I write because I enjoy writing. I've moved on from fanfiction, and now I write my own things. Maybe some day I'll get published and you can read my work again. You'll know it's me, because eventually I'll announce myself as Psyduck Ranger. Or maybe, if you know my style well enough, you'll recognise me. Who knows.

That doesn't mean I think I'm above fanfiction though, merely that I'd prefer to be doing other things. From time to time, if I have a story to tell, I'll write it for this place. And, from time to time, if I miss the characters or plots, I'll read some fanfiction.

Also, I've posted some art from the Poké Rangers series on my deviant art page, along with a few original pieces. They're not the best; I've never claimed to be a decent fine artist, but it lets you see inside my head a bit better than writing can perhaps let you. Who knows what I might add there in future.

I've tried to make this sound all distant, heroic, and cool. Whether or not I've acheived that effect up to this point is up to you, but I'm really not like that. Here's something to completely destroy that effect, a part of many profiles around here and elsewhere, a few of my favourites from fiction.

Television programmes: Friends, Pokémon, Digimon, Scrubs, Futurama, Power Rangers, Doctor Who, and more.

Games: Pokémon, Sonic, Mario, Digimon Rumble Arena, Super Smash Bros., and an odd little game called Cel Damage Overdrive.

Books: The Harry Potter series, the Chronicles of Narnia, and Life of Pi.

Films: The Futurama films, particularly Bender's Big Score, the Pokémon films, the Back to the Future trilogy, particularly part 2, the Harry Potter films (even though in places they deliberately differ from the books without good reason and drastically mess things up), and more.

I hope we meet again. Or for the first time. Until we do, see ya!
