Hello, let me present myself

I'm a man of broad tastes and many hobbies.

I'm mainly an artist, who likes to draws comics and characers (I can even animate!), but my objective in life is to be "A Complete Artist", someone who has skills in many artistic areas!

Therefore, here I am.

I usually write my own original stuff, but lately (as in "since 2017") I've been reading too much Naruto fanfiction, and being someone who likes to try a bit of everything, I decided to write my own fanfiction.

When it comes to writing, I like to keep a few things in mind, like:

1) Planning is important, making outlines, character sheets and even concept art is extremely helpful!

2) Throw the plan out of the window if something more interesting appears in your mind. KILL YOUR DARLINGS, MY FRIEND!

3) Be prepared to rewrite and replan your stuff as many times as possible until you're satisfied with the result.

4) Leave space for change and improvisation, this way you'll have more fun with the story! =D

5) "Show, don't tell" is still applicable to writen storytelling without visual support. You don't need to be blunt or dance around too much about the character's thoughts and feelings, try to find a middle ground between that.

6) Rules aren't meant to be broken, they're meant to be bent to your creative interpretation of the rules without breaking them apart.

When it comes to fanfiction, I've realized a few preferences:

1) I don't like OOCs when they get in the way of Character Development. Why write a Smart!Naruto if part of the fun is that Naruto is a book dumb guy that grows to be a smarter person? Why forget about character progress? Stories are made out of it!

2) I like OOCs when they're done for a interesting reason. Harry Potter from Methods of Rationality is an interesting character because while he is smarter than canon!Harry, he still has space to grow and obstacles to overcome with difficulty.

3) I REALLY LIKE WHEN PEOPLE CAPTURES THE SPIRIT OF A CHARACTER! I noticed that a lot of authors have a hard time capturing perfectly the feel of a character. It may be lack of skill or becuse they find the canon character bland, but honestly? If you change Luffy's personality, you're betraying the spirit of One Piece.

4) Most fanfiction is done for pure fun, so quality isn't that important. This means that while I can understand that, my favorite fics are the ones who bring something that IS ACTUALLY NEW TO THE TABLE! Be it an AU, a change to something fundamental to the series the fanfiction is based on (without betraying it's spirit), a deconstruction (followed by a reconstruction) of the story, hightening the stakes (or lowering them), changing genres, etc. IT'S FANFICTION! IT DOESN'T MEANS THAT IT CAN'T BE INTERESTING AND NEW! Why write the same Wave Arc everytime when you can either make it more interesting or just completely get rid of it?
