28 chapters and I have yet to see Ranma truly potential in a fight. Just being outclassed in fights where his adaptability, speed and skills could make some difference, the Turks barely count as a good battle... the sewers was a limit breaker like shounen anime, other he was poisoned and rendered useless, and now he lost "because" the SOLDIERS had knowledge of one of his techniques. Where's the umi-sen ken when he needed to at least dristract the "camper?" And all of these battles he was in "Ranma-chan" form, that has less strength but is faster than his "normal" form.

As always this is just really awesome and I can't wait for more

The answer is - the same place he hides all 50 of those potions/ethers and his 6 other swords. (I am personally convinced that the only superpower as strong as infinite wealth (Batman) is a character menu)

Coming across a new Ranma story that is actually enjoyable is (for me) cause for celebration. So far, I've had a blast reading this! I'll be sure to post again when I'm closer to or completely caught up, but at this point I have no doubt I will wind of choosing to favourite and follow.

The SOLDIER pair have a fun couple of names, considering their roles. Nicely done.

I'm kind of glad you included Yuffie, because there is a lot of potential for Ranma to connect with the idiosyncrasies of Wutai culture and norms as it relates to his Japan.

The chapter didn't make to much sense to me; I imagine that if Ranma had resolved to go for the kill, he'd've used killing techniques. I get it that he didn't have enough time to gather his resolve because he had been ambushed, but I'd go for the kill automatically for Soldier at least. If anyone's gonna survive, and Ranma's worried about 'civvies' he shouldn't've held back in the middle of the woods, bum-fuck no-where, Soldier's gonna be the most likely to only get maimed by Ranma going all out.

When I read your bit on Ranma's variant of the amaguriken, I immediately thought of this. Mangadex chapter/23402/28 just remove the spacesfor it to work. It'd been years since I'd thought of that manga. A warning for anyone reading this review, the manga is smut, even though I loved it's fighting scenes. So don't read anywhere you don't want to get caught reading smut.

Well... This looks promising, EPIC, and funny!

I haven't played FF but I have a serious problem with the notion that anyone in it could match Ranma's martial skill. Ranma has been through pure unending hell since he was 2 and there are very few characters from anything I know of that could match that kind of training and experience. I can see others overpowering him sure but to match him in pure skill...i don't buy it. As I said I haven't seen FF so I could be wrong I just suggest reconsidering if you really think that wording is true.

First of all, awesome chapter! Kudos on Jagher and Venator. Really liked these two. Furthermore, approved wholeheartedly on you introducing more First Classes into the mix. If there's any weakness to the game, there's a lack of First Class Soldier there as challenge. Perhaps we will even see more second class Soldier in the field. The infamous Kunzel perhaps.

Having said that, Ranma is acting extremely generous in his praises to Jagher. As skilled as her in Martial Arts? Eh... can I say bull? Very skilled, true. But as pure technique goes, I kinda doubt that. Unless he happened to convert from Wutai (or some other wutai-like place that celebrate pure Martial Skills). Therefore, can I be confidant and say Ranma will whoop his ass if they ever cross-path again...even if Venator is in play. After all, Saotome Ranma doesn't loose, and he has yet to showcase all his tricks too.

Speaking of skills, didn't Ranma also developed some ninjitsu skills too, on account of her various clashes with the cross-dressing ninja (who is possibly one of the closest to Ranma in pure martial genius/ skills back in Nerima)? Wonder what Yuufi will make of those.

If some cannon fodder like Soldier are giving the group this much trouble, then Sephiroth is going to absolutely destroy them.

Oh lord that is the absolute BEST way of describing Chihuahuas I have EVER heard lol! I've owned small breed dogs like Dachshunds, Yorkshire Terriers, and Pekingese but out of ALL of them Chihuahuas have the BIGGEST size complex ever, my grandmother on my dad's side of the family used to own one and that is the exact way it acted. And FINALLY my girl is here! Yuffie is my fave FF7, and even though she was optional in the original, all the extra canon material includes both her and Vincent as canon, Vincent, who is my fave FF7 guy..come on he uses a triple barreled, triple hammered, triple cylinder revolver named Cerberus for crying out loud, and his limit breaks turn him into monsters! As a monster fan and lover of revolvers he was shot to the top pretty quick. Ranma is gonna have a hoot with figuring out Vincent when they meet and I look forward to his interactions with Yuffie..and how she's gonna spaz when Ranma turns back into a guy.

No just from the waves of foes that won't fit this narrative but because everyone in late Game is bs... and later on when most of the fooder just show up at the same time it won't make sence for the cast to be able to survive

Yeah I am tired of you nerfing ranma again and again. Ranma uses umi sen ken and yama sen ken. SO no way in hell he loses this. You always give excuses after excuses for the so call defeats of ranma. Yeah so either you make ranma shine like he does or I am ditching this fic.
