love your story so far. Yes, even with only these two chapters so far, it's quite nice.

I couldn't really recognize the point of deviation from how the original story went. They still all ended in the same train compartement, got all sorted to Griffyndor, and Hermione knew everything better.

What I noticed is that Ron is surprisingly good(?) at magic from the start, and maybe that this prank war with the twins prevented her friends from being mean to Hermione (which caused them all to be involved with the troll.) I like how she dismisses Quidditch, but don't see how she warmed up to Snape "so readily": In the original series she and Ron leapt into action against Snape, where she has strangely accurate (still wrong in the details, but still) insights into Snape's complicated psyche.

This is one of my favourite chapters so far, and the only reason I haven’t reviewed on many others (have I reviewed at all? Gets so confusing when I’ve read so many fics), is because I’ve been enjoying it too much to stop. Also, this chapter gives the Lady of Loopholes a run for her money. So, just saying that this story is wonderful and I look forward to the rest.

Oh yes, and should Hermione meet any violas, guitars or drums in future, remember that violas are inferior, guitars are just btec string instruments and drums are loud annoyances that are often owned by people who don’t know the meaning of pianissimo (let alone anything quieter than fortissimo). An omake about her campaign to free all violins from their owners comes to mind...

It took me three days, three wonderful days, to read all of this and it has been the most interesting fic I’ve read in a long time! I just love this! Hermione is op but also very unhinged and hilarious, I just ALSNDNSNF

Chapter 4 of The Parselmouth of Griffindor was HILARIOUS. I hope they sent the petrified statue to the muggles for a serious grinding to dust!

Igor Karkaroff was, in my opinion, badly portrayed. He does not have a German accent, unlike his student Vicktor Krum. Professor Karkaroff, as in “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire”, speaks just like a British person, without pronouncing the ‘W’s as ‘V’s.
