Wanderer D chapter 79 . 2h Just a minor correction, the Dragonmage of Mystara is not a Dragonlance book. |
Peacemaren chapter 41 . 6h Great story; I'm steadily working my way through the entire thing, but I just wanted to ask a question about the chapter I'm on (41, if it's not visible). I was wondering, why Harry didn't try to become an animagus? I ask this knowing that I may have completely missed something, and I apologize if I did. But I don't remember seeing anything saying that he couldn't do it, or that he had something like innate magic resistance to mess it up. Does being a dragon stop him from transforming into something else? Or is he just comfortable with staying a dragon and not being anything else? I also ask because I kept on getting it in my head that if Harry had a human form as his animagus form, he'd be a 'humanimagus'. :p ...I'm sorry, that was terrible, but I had to. Anyway, great story, and I look forward to reading the rest. :) |
Makuro767 chapter 56 . 6h Less than hatred, more of pure intent. To use the Killing Curse, one MUST WANT their victim to die and it mustn't be a momentary thing. It cannot be an accidental cast because it does not work that way. Basically the Unforgivables represents the mind of a psychopath, sociopath and narcissist; manipulative, sadistic and fatal. |
Aotrs Commander chapter 78 . 8h Well done, Umbridge! Your continuing quest to ensure that the youth of today (I mean the 1990s) is properly educated on learning not to take single sources as authoritative without proper research will stand everyone in good stead for The Internet in another decade, and also advances the cause of nonhuman races! Your commitment to their cause is quite impressive! I don't think I've mentioned it before, but even if I have, its worth mentioning your Dumbledore is fracking great! |
mc7411 chapter 79 . 8h I'm in agreement with dreaddragonknight, McGongagall should've told Umbridge to take a hike. Umbridge had no business inserting herself in a meeting between Harry and McGongagall. That being said, I'm thoroughly enjoying this story and hope that Dragon-Harry is able to turn some of the AD&D 1st/2nd Edition spells into actual spells. Imagine the surprise when Voldy and co get magic missiles in their faces or get struck by a Fireball or Chain Lighting. Or better yet Dragon Harry develops a variation of the Bigby's Hand spell and it allows him to turn one of his would-be enemies into a screaming club. :D |
Makuro767 chapter 50 . 9h Well...unless he ended up as one of those detestable Sackville-Bagginsess that Bilbo had an ongoing feud with... |
Makuro767 chapter 50 . 9h I like how you balanced out the characters. People tended to make Ron too dumb or malicious, Dumbledore too manipulative or insidious or just naive or dumber than Fudge which made him all but useless and pointless, while Hermione as just downright perfect in everything she might as well be the actual MC. Sure its fanfiction but at the same time I feel like they mutilated the characters too much. It is one thing to do it with Harry because the story is about him and we wanted to see how the world react with a different sort of Harry but its another to do it to people that basically supported his role through the story. I don't know, maybe I'm just double standard that way but its more like its because we know these characters through Harry and felt that they shouldn't have changed so much that its no longer the same character canon Harry met. Its not like they have an alternate back story like we did to Harry. |
Makuro767 chapter 49 . 10h I can just imagine the Hinkypunk sobbing because of Harry at the end of it |
Mernom chapter 58 . 11h It seems that Harry being a Dragon breaks the plot. Completely. Over the knee, and SNAP!. But I have to admit, if the tradeoff is Nora screen time, it's worth it. |
Makuro767 chapter 46 . 15h This chapter made me think of the canon version of when Harry managed the True Patronus as well the emotion behind it. The shock of seeing his father, the joy of seeing him, the despair when he realised that it was an alternate him, and finally acceptance of the truth. It was sad and beautiful that the emotion his Patronus represent was longing and hope. |
Mernom chapter 47 . 18h Oh. I was wondering if THAT plot point was ever gonna come up again after you skipped it into oblivion. |
Mernom chapter 43 . 21h My guess regarding the technology thing is that since the screens are the only thing that didn't work, the magic messes with either the electron cannons, or the control magnets. |
Lydlovesbooks chapter 39 . 23h I have read the first forty chapters of this and am continually impressed by your writing. I am genuinely enjoying how little bothers Harry due to his being a dragon. Delightful. |
TroyWeb chapter 79 . 7/22 I've always found the theory that Dean is a Half Blood to be interesting. There are a lot of fan fics where Harry has to prove his identity to Gringotts Wizarding Bank by testing his blood. I wonder if that would work for Dean. |
Verdauga chapter 33 . 7/22 The Dragon Hug makes me so Happy. |
