Filter options

I really want more filter options. I specifically want to be able to filter out Slash, mpreg, gender bender, or a modern school setting. Basically anything that screams this is a bad story. I've been a voracious reader since 2013 and it's become harder and harder over the years to find good stories. This has made it more frustrating to wade through the trash or fics that simply are not targeted at me. I also want to be able to have default filter options connected to my account. Like sort by favorites, rating all, published this year. So i don't have to toggle that for every fandom i visit.

A cliche filter would be even better but i'll settle for not seeing a Severus/Harry love story ever again.

My story preference is a long and dark story with plenty of witty sarcastic banter and a lot of lying with the truth. Where the protagonist says something that can be understood to mean two completely different things. Where the antagonist then assumes what he wants to hear and later finds out it was the other but can't do anything about it anymore nor can he blame him for lying because he did answer truthfully he just didn't want to listen.

I also like it when there are multiple layers to the plot where one action has so many ripple effects that you wonder how many are intentional and which are accidental.

So my own stories will be an attempt to create that. Any recommendations of stories like this will be greatly appreciated especially in the naruto, harry potter, worm and code geass fandoms which are my usual stalking grounds.

Right now still feels like a pile of puzzle pieces but the picture is coming together. Don't particularly like the picture anymore since the draft was done years ago and i'm trying to change parts of it without having to replace too many pieces. I'm also on the fence about a chapter that could potentially put everything in a new light and give a new background to the story. If done right it will affect every chapter after it but i'm not sure if that's doable. It sounds fun but so does skydiving.
