About Tyrions banking; And a good your example of middle-age economics, but 62 years is pretty long before turning a profit; the investment itself should be written off long before that. Not to mention other risks such as changes in the economy or population. the big risk is that the other states would simply default on their loans after a few years, and he would need to start a war to get anything back. And in middle-age Christianity there was for a long time the moral objection against 'usery'; ie loans for profit. I do not remember the Seven having issues with this. or you could google on "Banking in the Middle Ages" |

Dorne may not like it but Lyanna's son is protection for his older half brother.! Ned will not attack his sister's son. Not if he gave up the love of his life to get her back safe.! Dorne would be folls to let the child go or to allow Lyanna to be ransomed and seperated from him! |
