Maybe this will teach lelouch not to keep leading from the front, the odd sacrifice play might be effective: but its not like you can make a habit of them

the human form has some lovely advantages, but it leaves a lot to be desired in an armored fighting vehicle. I would argue that it would be at an even greater disadvantage in urban warfare though, there are so many more places for infantry to hide.

It’s a shame the story stopped here, although I do think Zero Requiem is much better written. Lulu has some real setbacks there like his uncle, whereas in this story everything just casually works out with no tension.

It seems odd that Lelouch doesn't suspect Charles himself of the kidnapping. Schneizel isn't the only one that he lied to about Nunally with access to special forces. And Charles would have a vested interest in reminding Lelouch that even with her back in Japan, she's still an hostage. Or is it only obvious when you know of the Geass Directorate and his obsession against lies?

As to the poem, here's my guesses:
