This Harry is a lot more girl-smart.

I love this little story, theres not a huge amount of Harry/Cho fics around, and I don't usually ship them, but "what-if" fics like this are some of my favourites. I would be really interesting to see a continuation of this, how Harry and Cho being closer might affect the rest of the year, whether he would confide in her about Sirius, whether she would go to the Ministry with him etc

Another great one-shot! Normally I ship Harry with Ginny, but I do admit it would've been interesting to see what his relationship with Cho could've been like if they'd salvaged this date and cleared the air. Loved the way you analysed here what caused the problems they had, and the ways they could've potentially fixed it. Loved seeing the two of them supporting each other during the interview and as they opened up with one another, and I was happy that they finally understood each other by the end of it.

Oh man, this was so satisfying and cathartic to read. Cho was screwed over so badly in the series, and I’ll never be over it. Harry’s still clueless about girls and dating, but he has the best intentions, and seeing them reconcile like this was so good. Their grief is powerful, but they can work through it together. This was such a wonderful way to get closure. Thank you for writing this!

Wonderful story. I really like Harry/Cho, and believe that if circumstances had been different - maybe in a different universe where Cedric hadn't existed, or maybe even if Hermione had given Harry a bit of dating advice - they could've really worked. Harry even says at one point that talking with Cho felt as natural as talking with Ron and Hermione - it's only her emotional side that he finds uncomfortable. I think your story really nailed Harry being flustered and "awful with girls" while taking a positive turn. Realistic and very in-character Harry - good job!
