I like to read SF. On TV, I watch SF, and detective shows. "Castle" is my current favorite, along with "Numb3rs", "NCIS", "Heroes", "The Mentalist", "CSI:Las Vegas", "CSI:New York", "Bones", and "Dollhouse", "Sanctuary", "Doctor Who", "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.", "Grimm". I used to watch "Buffy: the Vampire Slayer", "Angel", and the various incarnations of Stargate. (Not "Universe", I lost the plot early.) I like the original Battlestar Galactica, and watched only the 1st season of BSG2003. I've been picking up a lot more anime on Hulu, and the Internet in general. "Sword Art Online" is my favorite so far, although I feel they should have done a full season in SAO itself. (Some Japanese anime is WEIRD, no comfort for the crying girl, bro/sis UST, schoolgirl - schoolgirl girl crush acting-out) Update: My new favorite anime is "Log Horizon". 12/17/2015 New favorite anime is "GATE".

I seem to read a LOT of Hairy Plothole fanfiction.

HP shipping: I'm a Harmonian, then a Lunarian, then a Lunar Harmonian.

BtVS shipping: X/F, X/C, X/D. I LIKE stories where Dawn is there the entire time.

I'm a NaruHina shipper. I also like Strong!Sakura. (Kami!Sakura is even better)

I like the GURPS RPG system, and the Bureau 13 setting.

My muse is quite erratic. She gave me "Slayer Rangers: Beginning: Halloween", an idea of how the rest of the season could go, 1 chapter of episode 2; then she nicked off to Tasmania or somewhere. She occasionally sends small ficlets. I keep begging her to come back, but no luck. So expect LONG DELAYS between fics.

About Favorite Stories: I have some on there where the recommended story is the first of a series. (FFnet needs to support series!)

I acquired a new Pet Peeve: Stupid Authors who post Author Note chapters to tell you they are going to have a long hiatus in their stories. (Or any other reason) Especially when they post the same damn AN in ALL of their stories. We, the readers, are either not going to get a new notice if they paste in an actual chapter (I think), or else we will be stuck with the AN in the middle of the stories, jarring us out of a good read. Put it in your profile, baka!

Then there's an older Author Pet Peeve: The snit-fit fic destroyer. An author gets some stupid notion in their head, and TOTALLY DESTROYS all their fic online. I consider this to be nearly as bad as those psychos who kill their own wife and children when they are about to lose them. Do the suicide before the murder, teme!
Even if they later put it back, all the links and reviews will be gone.
Publishing Commercial fanfiction does NOT mean you can't publish (or had published) fanfic!

A few deficiencies with the FFnet site:

1. No review editing function. Once you hit the button, it's set in stone, and you CAN'T add on that totally awesome thing you thought of just after you hit the button. Or remove what moronic thing you just said.
2. Can't LIKE reviews.
3. Can't Rate Stories.
