As delightful as the first chapter was, I can't believe you included an allusion to a teacher sexually assaulting young kids and treated it so offhandedly. Character bashing is fun and all, but that is taking things waaaaay too far. And having other teachers emphasize? Are they all monsters? The whole thing was in poor taste, and it wasn't even necessary for the story.

I typically listen to the stories so I can do other things at the same time. So I can honestly say that everytime to word Scoil is said, I am extremely amused because it sounds like Squirrel in a silly voice. Wonderful story

This was a great fic. I hadn't actually read many original magic school fics before and came in warily but you have definqtely opened my eyes to their potential. I do wonder though, is that how schooling is in england? Closest we come in australia is our last few years of highschool before uni. I love that of the few action sequences in this fic you focused on the younger harry beating adults WITH CUNNING AND TACTICS! I cant count how many times fics have had such a fight come down to a giant magical dick measuring contest (not litterally but i wouldnt be surprised if that actually existed on this site). And i loved seeing belatrix portrayed as an actual thinking villain rather than the batshit witch she is mostly portrayed as. Gonna go see what other fics you have now, thanks for the good read

I got the sense from the o.p. that those abandoned, orphaned fics are what they meant. What kind of sucks about those though is that AO3 is awesome for the amount of sites that have been archived on it but not all authors were able to be contacted and gotten permission from and they may not even know their work is on AO3 and it's be just the pits to stumble across your work one day and see others massacring it in attempts to finish it. I've also seen people to adopt fics and abandon it two chapters later which is almost more sad than the original abandonment. Poor thing.

This is well written. It’s an excellent story until the last chapter. But even the last chapter (where it diverged into a bit of a Tom Clancy novel) was good.

Bravo! A well-written and interesting tale. Always good when Voldemort meets a poetic end via non-magical means.

The Blackheart thing was really impressive, but I do think authors have a tendency to over do Harry. I don't mean powers, I mean basic logic. Blackheart was the best in the business, had been for years. Falling for a diversion like that? Doesn't make sense. Rushing in without checking? Plausible, but not the kind of professionalism I would expect from a killer of that calibre.
