This is a really fascinating outsider POV. Obviously there was a skinwalker/shifter but I find myself so curious about where Dean is going from here. Where everyone else is, etc. But it works perfectly in the fic because that same sense of anticipation for something that doesn't quite happen is just what our narrator is feeling. He gets through the situation perfectly on the surface... but it was all Dean's doing and he doesn't understand why or quite how he 'beat Kobayashi Maru'. It works very very well, even without knowing the other fandom (which I do not). Really enjoyed this.

Also really liked the small details of humanity. The hostages weren't just faceless people on distress; the heroism of the last ones is proof enough of that and it was really touching. Poor Rusty too, heh.

Excellent outsider POV with this one, on Dean. I've seen FLASHPOINT, so I'm familiar with the characters, and you did a great job keeping it in its idiom, too. I've always liked Greg Parker. And I'm sure Dean felt like it would just be *rude* (and stupid) to escape after the police were so cooperative- so I'm sure his next escape was the FBI's problem. (I would love to see the newest profile the BAU puts together from this!)

I don't even know what to say. This story is so amazing it kept me reading nonstop from the beginning, though it would probably have been better if it was divided in several chapters... So thank you a lot dear author for this masterpiece !

Wow, awesome story. Never watched Flashpoint, other than maybe a few minutes while flipping channels, but this was still a totally awesome, easy to follow story.
