Capecodcanal chapter 1 . 7/17/2017 Oh my gosh! Amazing and powerful. Poor, dear little Sirius. Sweet Sorrel! |
batch of books chapter 1 . 2/6/2017 ...WOOOOAAAAHHHH... LOVE IT! hearts, smiles and kisses! |
Claude Amelia Song chapter 1 . 11/21/2016 That was fantastic. I loved it. Trully and deeply. Barky was right you are a wonderful writer. May you rest in peace. I don't know from where to start. From the beginning I guess. At first I admit, I was a bit confused about who was speaking, but I got everything cleared up pretty quickly and I enjoyed the story very much. I liked everything. From how they believed everything was a game, when really it wasn't, their innocence and how later you had Sirius said that he will always play with muggles and in the end how just the oldest girl could remember him . Good job with the story . |
HermyLuna2 chapter 1 . 8/19/2016 This story is amazing! The children's perspective (especially that it's told from a MUggle viewpoint), how in character Sirius and his mother are, very funny and touching |
malebron chapter 1 . 2/19/2016 A delightful story, beautifully told, and from an interesting perspective. Thank you for sharing. |
siehjin chapter 1 . 1/20/2016 Very good! |
seriousblahblah chapter 1 . 9/30/2015 I'm so glad I found this. This story is without exaggeration, a short masterpiece. The writing and how you captured the muggle children's perspective was perfection. I felt like I was 6 years old again and playing with them. I loved how they played along with being wizards and the irony of the muggle hunting hide and seek game! And that poor but courageous Sirius, you wrote him perfectly as well. And walburga was so frighteningly awful. I don't think I can describe how much I adore this story, its better than many conventionally published short stories. The only only detail I would change is that Sirius has grey eyes while you wrote blue eyes. Small mistake. But I looooooooovvvvveee this story and now I'm just ranting but, its divine. All time favs. Thank you and keep writing! |
ReadByRain15 chapter 1 . 6/28/2015 Wonderful story! I love HP stories from a Muggle perspective, especially with children. Beautifully done ️ |
Evilnor chapter 1 . 5/30/2015 Excellent little short story. Little Sirius was adorable, and I felt you wrote his mother very much in character. I was hoping for a little epilogue about Sirius reconnecting with his muggle neighbors and recognizing them, at least in his black dog form. Still, I enjoyed this ficlet very much. Children always underestimate the connotations of play, and what may seem cruel from an adult perspective is just the rules of a game to a child. |
arlene56 chapter 1 . 5/19/2015 This was sadder than I was expecting (hunt he muggle!), but well-written and engaging. Poor Sirius. I don't usually think about how the pure blood children get so corrupted. Thanks for sharing. |
kase519 chapter 1 . 9/30/2014 Haunting |
coccinellee chapter 1 . 5/30/2014 That's pretty scary. I now wonder why they lived in the middle of muggle neighbourhood if they despise muggles that much. I can see that they don't care at all that their children are basically prisoner but why submit themselves to the company of those dirty people? Doesn't make much sense, all the more if they are rich. |
Arabella Lee Smith chapter 1 . 3/23/2014 Really amazingly good tale. Wonderful perspective, original thought. I love this. The sort of thing I'll think about tomorrow. A very sad tale, really, very sad. One of the previous reviewers wondered if Sorrel would recognize Sirius all those years later as the escaped convict on the news. That would make it even worse for Sorrel, I would think. A sad and brilliant story. Thank you for sharing this. |
troyguffey chapter 1 . 3/11/2014 Sorrell took the long-term Flight response. Pretty good story. Although I wouldn't expect an /Obliviate/ to be a long-range spell, and Walburga accurate enough to hit them. |
Guest chapter 1 . 12/2/2013 This is actually quite horrifying. Poor Sirius. |
